What an amazing Lied so amazingly sung by such an amazing singer. Noone does that like Iestyn. Absolutely noone transports pain and suffering in such an authentic, emotionally haunting way. It's a little masterpiece.

I listened to the album a couple of times this morning and it's just fabulous. I have fond memories of playing "O Nachbar Roland" with a recorder consort some years ago so it was particularly lovely to hear your take on that. I think I need to introduce it to my viol consort. But the whole album is absolutely lovely. You always do such wonderful things with Iestyn.
