This was totally and utterly superb in every single way. Your best edited video since the Duster, I'm so impressed. Can we expect more of this calibre?
Great review! Loved watching it and you made loads of excellent points. I have a 2016 XF S, which has the same engine in a bigger body. More space (especially with my car's split seats) and still has great handling, but not as sharp as the XE's handling. (I have driven several XE models but not the XE S.) Mind you, even with mostly ultra-short stop-start town driving, I get an average of 27 mpg on the XF S and I have managed 43 mpg on a leisurely run. So I think your right foot was a bit heavy at the start. Entirely understandable: that acceleration is so addictive! It's 450 Nm of torque, not 540 Nm by the way. Still, I totally agree with your comments that the power needs to be cautiously applied in slippery conditions!
The looks I get from my 2019 xe 25t r sport rwd. its Firenze red with all black. . Sweet looking thing and so fun to cruise and rip. Just a solid unit The s is more rare in Iceland.. I think there is only two...
To be fair, he balanced the mpg comments with a lot of positives about the driving experience. Yes, mpg matters for cost reasons (especially nowadays) so merits a mention but the review made the point you don't buy a 3 litre supercharged for good mpg - the 2 litre diesels are for that.
What do we think? Xylophone friendly or what?!
i cant believe you did that, so funny
So good, whens the next one????
ive never seen that done before lol
Hilarious and informative!
just so lol
Very very good review. One of the best I've ever seen based on every day driving
Thanks so much! It’s a great daily car so I had to showcase it.. :)

Excellent review and agree with everything you say
Thanks so much Clive!
LOL @ 6:49 😂
what a car!
Certainly that.
Does this car has a Limit Slip Differenzial?
I don’t believe this one did.
Mate you cannot expect miracles. Fuel economy is all about the driver.
It is indeed! It did decently, just wish it had active technology to get better numbers. :)
@@TheAutoDad It is a fabulous car. I wish I could afford one. Lol
Second hand values are pretty strong, probably because they’ve discontinued the V6! :-(
This or an Audi S5? similar is price to the XE S. What would you pick?
Difficult one, both are superb. The Jag has a very driver involving feeling over an S5, but it depends on what you want I guess..?
What mpg would it get on a motorway cruise at 70-80?
Mid between 35 and 40 mpg
but was it really good as a daily?
It was superb.
AWD or RWD ?
Great car. One thing though, it's RWD not AWD 🤓
ohhhhhhhhhhh its so preeettttttyyyyy :33
Yes it is!
Super charged !
You don't buy a 3 litre Supercharged V6 and expect good fuel economy, so WTF are you bleating about MPG every verse end?

Shit, à s type from 2002 is as powerful for less than 5000 pounds
Won’t drive as nice and refined though! :)
