Great haul! I was drooling over a few items. 😜 I’m like you, $1-2 is where I live, but if I find something I love, I’ll go for it. “I want a steal, not a deal”- love that! I think you could bring that fuzzy stool back to life with a good scrub and a fluff, but if not, it’s easy enough to re-cover.

I was just at Goodwill yesterday. I couldn’t believe the things I found. I have never had such luck as I had yesterday. Most everything I found was $1.99

Such a wonderful haul! I just love thrift stores & yard sales. It's amazing what some people get rid of. I'm a pottery hoarder, I can never pass up nice handmade pottery peices lol. I love the rustic boho styles.

Maybe it just looked this way but I hope you do your best to put items back on the shelf the same way you picked them up. I only say this because working at a thrift store is extremely challenging when there's only a small space to organize items. Items that have been looked at and randomly thrown back on the shelf makes up 💯 of our job and makes it really difficult for others to find the item 🤷 ❤️

HELLO, LAZY DIY!!! New subscriber! Somehow just happened to find you and saw your video....it was 💜💜💜 at 1st sight....I have to tell you it's a good thing I am in Minnesota!!! You are too far away for me to jump in a truck and come and beg you in person to sell me almost EVERYTHING YOU BOUGHT! BOY-OH-BOY, DO YOU HAVE EXCELLENT TASTE, LOL! 🤩🥰🤗😁💜❤💜! I want THAT DRESSER and wooden wall piece, ESPECIALLY, 🤣❣💔, and it BREAKS MY 💔 I can't OWN THEM, LOL! 😥😱😭 The wicker and pottery and glass pieces at your store are AH-MAZE-ING, TOO! I really liked the multi-colored wicker piece that almost looked like a finial you would see on the top of a post. Sort of reminded me of a sea urchin's shell without the attached spines. Don’t paint it, please, because it would look beautiful 😍 with a Dollar Tree tealight inside of it, placed on a tray with colored and/or black sand a collection of colorful shells and a piece or 2 of coral. I can just imagine the light softly streaming out of the bamboo onto the shells. Wouldn't that be a charming vignette on a bathroom countertop or a dresser next to other feminine "pretties" like 💄 and perfume? LOVE IT❣💞💋 Your new "thrifting buddy", Leslie 💜

🦋During the quarantine I targeted my closet, to pick out clothing that no longer fit me. I brought bags to my local Community Thrift Store, and another Church Thrift Store that contributes to the community. The prices are much lower than Goodwill or Salvation Army here. Your Goodwill had an awesome array of item, so much better than here.

Looking at the handmade pottery gives me flashbacks to the 1970's when I was in college. In ceramics class it was popular to make stoneware pottery, which was actually hard to make! It had to be fired at an exceptionally high temperature for around 12 hours, using special glazes. The clay was filled with sand, so the sand would grind against your hands when you threw it on a pottery wheel, so your hands got really messed up and dry. Just thought I'd let people know that so as to give even more appreciation to those handmade stoneware pieces.

@@LazyDIY-THRIFT You are welcome. The stoneware is very hard and heavy, and has a earthy look to it, which was achieved through it's own process. My instructor had me mixing buckets of glazes and firing the kiln. The glazes were mixtures of different minerals.
I saw a post on Lone Fox using the ikea circles hanger and he made a cute macrame hanger.

I know this video is from July of 2020 but I am in a boho group on FB and a girl posted on the site a few weeks ago that she bought a large dog bed on Amazon and it fit her papasan chair perfectly for A LOT less money than buying a papasan cushion.
Your favorite piece might be raku fired. I think so because of the smoke on the bottom of it. Didn’t see the bottom long enough to tell. First time viewing! Fun trip!

You can change the speed to 1.25 or 1.5 so it can go by faster for you
