- I went to the Muslim Community in Davao city
for the first time in my life!
Some people say it's dangerous to enter this area,
and that's one of the reasons why I've never been there before...
However, what I experienced inside the area, was totally different!
All Muslims I met there were very kind and generous,
and always gave me beautiful smiles!
I had such a great day with my new Muslim friends!

Love and respect for all Philippines Muslims
Love, not RESPECT!
Muslim women are not to be handled or play with or approach in this manner by men who are not of her immediate family. She is to be respected and protected and provided for by the male member of her family, if she has a husband that responsibility becomes his responsibility. If she works, has a job her pay belongs to her to do with as she wills, it’s her property. Her husband is totally responsible to take care of her financially. She does not have to work if she doesn’t want to. If she has money, and most of them do, she can share her financial gain with her husband but she is not required to. Approaching her in any disrespectful manner is not acceptable behavior.

As a man from east Asia, I've never met Muslims and never learned about Muslim culture... I only recently heard that I shouldn't touch Muslim women if I'm not her family... that's why I asked her what would happen if I do... Sorry again for my ignorance.

I really enjoyed your video and found it pleasantly effective. Your inquiry from the lady concerning the proper behavior towards Muslim women is acceptable. There was nothing wrong with your edification. The people there welcome your visit and obviously was happy to see you. You should continue exploring the different areas of the Philippines you find it very delightful and adventure. I have visited Korea, my stay there was short but enjoyable, I look forward to returning. I found it to be a lovely country, made some wonderful friends there. Traveling we learn a lot about people and their culture. As you know there’s a beautiful Masjid there for the Muslim community, many Korean’s have become Muslims. My explanation concerning the Muslim women’s was for only education purpose only.
There are many halal restaurants you will find very encouraging and enjoyable throughout the Philippines. There are some inside the big Malls. You should visit them.

@My Korean Kuya I have been there once. To Manila and Bulacan. I never been to Korea but it's on my travel bucket list. My dad was in the air force and was in the Osan base. But he knew Tae Kwon Do before going to Korea.

@@KoreanManagerVlogs it really doesn't matter to us if you're a muslim or a christian as long as you're respecting each other's religion.during martial law (1970s), there's so many hostilities coz apparently the u.s.central intelligence agency teached the marcos administration how to use religion on how to rule and divide the the peoples of mindanao.the rebels are muslims and they organize christian militias this continued even the fall of marcos sr.dictatorship.but with the opening of democracy in the philippines,cultural openness also followed.even the police which were also been used before to queel the muslim rebellion had one of the most sectors were the rise of islamic religion were noted. now the tension is mostly confined on social media like the debates who possessed the more dominant religion-muslims or christians (especially, catholics).but its just one of the topic of debates (aside from evangelical christian vs catholics)and there's actually cross cultural mixing for several years thats already happening now-muslim ( especially those who belong to maranao tribes) traders are selling christmas decorations and firecrackers during christmas season,they also go to luneta and roxas boulevard before the christmas eve and new year's celebration to watch fireworks display.its a reverse for christians like they also learning to cook (muslim dishes like pastil)and also attending ramadan festivities, especially politicians who are courting muslim votes during elections.❤

Throughout the Philippines the Malls are very large and just about anything a person maybe shopping for they will find it. Some of the Malls are so large a person can get lost in them. Person has to remember which door they came in. If they get lost the security will gladly help them with a big smile.

Muslims do eat during Ramadan but between certain hours, usually anywhere starting from 8/9 or 10pm all the way till about 3 or 4am but then they can’t eat the rest of the day as they’re fasting to grow closer to God, gain patience & put themselves in the shoes of the less fortunate, it’s a humbling & spiritual experience

Men and women don’t touch each other only if you are married or you are close relatives. Women and men don’t go around hugging and kissing unless they are married or they are close relatives. but you can find most of them in Google map, just type mosque in davao.

They are native Filipinos who existed before the Spanish colonization came. They used to be the majority from the Palawan Sulu Islands to Mindanao. But now they are a minority since migrants from the north Luzon came.
