… ELVIS and ANGELINA... my absolute favourites!! Angelina is already the greatest singer for me... Elvis anyway! … I can't even describe how incredibly good these two are!! … What a great tribute to the King! Elvis would be honored. ✨💎✨ 🕺🏻🎸🕯Thank you
Angelina is only 16 here, and has managed to re-imagine this song as a lesson for the world. Heartbreakingly beautiful, her warm tones. Great reaction, Starr!
Power & Pure Velvet Perfection! This vocal arrangement was all Angelina, I have no doubt in collaboration with a stellar team including Rob Christie & Mery Zamani her Grandmother. She is a Master Storyteller. The video is shot in the same Antique Store that she did 'My Funny Valentine' on Valentine’s Day. I believe it is in LA near her home. I believe the girls in the video represent Angelina's Journey from infancy to present through the classics of music history. Thus the Antique store, She grew up studying and performing these classics. Did you notice that right foot raise it’s heal to cradle the guitar a couple of times in the performance? I was waiting for her to throw in a little shake to it in homage to the King. Could that have been intentional? That is Rob Christie on piano. Sister Juliette and a couple of Uncle Michael's Babies. I think that makes them cousins not nieces. Full Black Leather Bodysuit, the guitar from his concert in 68 and the hair a homage to Priscilla Presley. Yeah! She can bring tears to your eyes. I base my interpretation on my knowledge of Angelina's journey from an 18 month old little girl singing a "classic" of music history 'I Will Always Love You' . She has been listening to these classics on repeat on YOUTube since then under the guidance and inspiration of her Grandmother Mery Zamani. She has been performing these classics since her first time in studio at 6 yrs old.. She has continued this journey through her 1st introduction to the world with her "Classic'" 'Gloomy Sunday’ and following with her many performances at her many Jazz Festivals, TV performances, Concerts, and charity events, studio recordings and practice sessions at home accompanied or not. The location in the Antique store represents these classics (like the furniture) of another era. To me she portrays wonder at all these classics surrounding her. as she has travelled this road. Her tribute to Elvis is at her present age, today, each stage represented by her cousins and sister and ending with Angelina herself on the couch still admiring all this history surrounding her. The beautiful rendition of the song, and other tributes are in the leather outfit, Guitar and hair a tribute to Priscilla. Just my interpretation but it makes the most sense to me. ♥👣👸🏻
The song "Heal the World" reflects Angelina's beautiful soul. It says "Love is strong, it only cares about joyful giving." Embrace the song as I do, and make the world a better place by giving. To give to Angelina, I now watch 2 videos per day from either her Official or Cover channel. I ensure that I like, post a new comment, and read, like, and reply when inspired. More angels participating is the most direct way we can support Angelina on TH-cam, who will then recommend her videos to millions more people. This still allows ample time to watch your favorite reactors, hopefully only those who make the commitment to spread Angelina's message of love and empathy to the world. The reactors only need to provide artist links, and to encourage you to interact with those links. Peace and love. . .

I almost didn't watch this, but, boy, am I glad I decided to watch. Your reaction was beautiful! I still never tire of watching new reactors to Angelina.
My interpretation of the symbolism of this music video: First, and foremost; Angelina Jordan at 16 is the epitome of a Storytelling ARTIST, and she has the ability to take us by the hand and lead us down an imaginary path that we visualize as reality. The remarkable fact is that we experience this in each of her performances. In this video we see her as a married woman in her mid to late 20s. As the video starts out, we see dishes, and it is a symbol of a home. As AJ sings the phrase “Were caught in a trap, I can’t walk out” we see 3 small children, this to me is a marriage where the children come first. If it were AJ by herself, she would not stay in a relation without trust.
Hello / Hello Ms. starr larh, Our Kind TH-cam Music Host... We are new here / Just Fantastic Everything!!! OutstandingHosting / Thank UUU... Ms. Angelina Jordan has Done it Again / Smash Hit - OMG Magical Vocals!!! True Earth Angel of Humanity!!! "The Emerald Pearl of Norway" - All Smiles - Must see her sing the Cover Song of "My Funny Valentine" Just so Special Too!!! So Happy UUU are a Fellow Ms. AJ Angel Fan 2 / Perfect!!! / DD.
Absolutely what I expected. She made this her own song and she did it beautifully. I noticed Juliet sitting there she is going to be as beautiful as Angelina one day. Elvis' version is great, and it still is one of my favorites. but Angelina's version is equally great and is definitely her own. When I first heard this song I loved it and put it at #3 on my playlist (Angelina Jordan Playlist by Terry M.), about midday I moved it up to #1. The main thing that changed my mind was the power in her voice. I'm not talking about loudness I'm talking about the power she has regardless of how loud or soft she sings. This is a quality that I haven't heard from anyone in my 83 years. This voice has become so unique that it is totally unmatched. Her phrasing in the last bridge is great. And she got Elvis’s ‘Oh Yea’ at the end of the song. The pianist is Rob Christie (3 Grammys), he is the head of the Republic Record department that is responsible for Angelina and other singers. The two small kids are her uncle Mike's kids, and the older girl is Angelina's sister. If you haven’t already reacted to her latest studio of Whitney Houston's version you should - here’s the link - th-cam.com/video/iX0g99jN26U/w-d-xo.html 🙂
Absolutely phenomenal performance from our barefoot Viking,Cover of A Cover as the original artist Mark James who originally wrote and recorded Suspicious Minds didn’t achieve with his original, then Elvis covered the song and it was a hit, great reaction thanks 🙏
Thank you for returning for another reaction to Angelina. I hope you will do many more reactions to her, as she is well worth every nanosecond you spend on her. I have watched and listened to her in awe since she released her first video on TH-cam, and what has been evident to me from the start is that she sings with total conviction, despite the fact that she is far too young to have experienced the events suggested in the lyrics of the song she has chosen to sing. But it is not only that, for strange as it may seem is the even more remarkable fact that she can convey the appropriate emotions within those lyrics to her listener. Angelina was 9 years and 2 months old when she performed this song. It is her tribute to Screamin' Jay Hawkins, who wrote and performed the song in 1956 (50 years before Angelina was born). She based her arrangement on his original performance, although she discarded all the theatrics and allowed her voice and body language to tell the story. The song has been covered by many singers over the years, but to my knowledge, Angelina is the only one who has sung in the same style as the original. There are many things I found particularly worthy of note in this video. Some I recognised immediately and those I missed were brought to my attention by the more observant Angelina fans (her Angels) and I thank them for letting me know what I had missed. Another Angelina "Angel" has pointed out something else which I had missed, and it is added at (l) below, (a) Angelina finishing writing last minute changes she wanted and handing them to the Music Director, who smiled. (b) A brief glimpse of Mery Zamani, Angelina's maternal grandmother, a well known and respected Iranian Artist and poet who was also a child prodigy. She was the person who recognised Angelina's talent at an early age and exposed her to all the old time jazz singers. (c) The candle with an image of Screamin' Jay Hawkins on it. (d) The smile on the face of the Bass player. (e) How she rose on to her toes on the last occasion she sang "...because you're mine" (f) The fact she occasionally refers to her written notes on the music stand. Possibly to remind herself of the last minute changes she wanted. (g) Her unwavering passion throughout the performance. Evidenced by her facial expressions and the way she uses her hands and body to emphasise the direction of the song. (h) The way she takes a breath just before she starts the last phrase (I don't care.....) and that breath lasts the whole of that sustained note. A child of that age should not have the ability to hold a note for that length of time. (i) At the end, when she sings I Doooont Caaaaare, she employs TWO separate and distinct vibratos to the word care, a wide one to start the word and a tighter one to close the word (j) The instant transformation from "performance" mode to that of a pensive child, possibly wondering whether she could have done better. I comment on the "pensive" child because Angelina has an incredible work ethic and seeks to perform every song in a way she considers will bring out all the emotions within the lyrics and melody. (k) Perhaps the most remarkable is that despite her tender years, she sings with such total conviction that her authenticity is never in doubt. It is easy to believe that she has experienced the events described in the lyrics. It is not only her voice that is mesmerising, it is also her facial expressions, and the way she uses her hands and body. Her stage presence is electrifying. (l) The performance absolutely is powerful and raw but to me, I am amazed that this is balanced by the profound beauty of the ending phrase; the last twelve words of the song. AND… they are essentially sung a cappella! Angelina has been referred to as the "Queen of Jazz", "The Barefoot Princess", "The girl with a thousand voices". All of them are true, but I prefer the nickname I gave her after listening to about six of her performances. For me, she is "The Chameleon of Song", for as a chameleon is able to change its colour to match its surroundings, so Angelina is able to change the "colour" of her voice to accurately match the needs of the song to reveal the emotions within the lyrics and melody. Even more remarkable is her innate ability to communicate those same emotions to her listeners.
Your reaction is the way Angelina should be enjoyed. Wonderful work, appreciate your time, thumbs up.
The greatest female singer alive honoring the King of rock !!!
