Watching you slowly get corrupted and digging these movies is the same thing that happened to me earlier this year! Got back into Saw after a long time of not watching. These are so fun to watch, thank you for posting these!
It was clever writing to make us think that the guy in the bed with Lynn was her husband so we wouldn't suspect that the guy being tested was her actual husband.
I was so stupid and wet to the theater for this movie. I had my thumbs in my ears and my view covered by my fingers at least at half of the damn movie! But one time, I turned around to look if I was the only one scared to death by this movie. I wasn't! Almost everyone was covering their eyes... Everyone, besides those two teen girls, sitting right behind us. Those two were munching popcorn and seemed to have just a great time!
Great reactions! As has been said 1,2 and 3 are probably the stronger films of the series - but 6 is pretty good too. By the way, love the Obi Wan / Ewan McGregor pic in the background there too haha.
This one is better then some people say as I believe showing what can happen to an entire family suffering from a loss. A vengeful husband. Cheating wife and a daughter being simply neglected. John knew this pain and knew how it inflicts on people and manifests itself into making us either weaker or stronger. But it's our choice in the end.
i like the first 7 movies cuz rather than a scary film it's also a police thriller and they all have the same look and cast, it ends up being like a series with a neat end. Then comes JIGSAW trying to fit in the story and doing a bad job in my opinion, (clearly a reboot cashgrab) and then Spiral which i haven't seen cuz as far as i know it's unrelated and well like i said the original 7 are a finished thing. Traps may get sillier overtime, but the actual story is great. That's why i enjoy SAW much more than Freddie, Myers or Jason It has a solid plot all the way to the end.
These movies have great stories, they are a little hit and miss with the connections. It feels like some of connections are just from convenience. That’s lazy story telling imo. If they didn’t have John’s backstory I think the movie would suffer greatly. Adding humanity to a serial killer and making the viewer side with him… that’s good writing right there
Out of all the traps in the Saw franchise, the "Rack Trap" has to be one of the absolute worst traps to be in. Just imagine the horrifying pain of your bones twisted to a 360 degree angle and sticking out of your body till you bleed to death. Mercy killing would be the best way out of this trap. I don't blame you for not looking that much during that whole scene .
@@funnylilgalreacts Not just horrifying, literally bone chilling. I can feel my muscles twitching every time I watch this scene. The sounds of the bones cracking makes it worse. No wonder this trap is ranked high in the "Most brutal Saw traps of the franchise".

UGH! That whole scene! It was so good but so wrong at the same time. John saying "the rack" with that tone and almost pride in his voice was disturbing
Love your videos, love your channel. Interesting thing is that "The Rack" is John's favorite trap, shows that he enjoys this. He has a type of God complex, where people must follow his rules, and yet he can break his rules over and over.
The Rack terrified me a decade ago and kept me from watching these movies. That being said, it’s also my FAVORITE trap 😂. It’s not overly produced, like some are meant to be very dramatic, this one is simplistic yet very effective. I don’t think that guy had to die nor deserved it, but it’s the most memorable death by far.
@@funnylilgalreacts yeah it's a very memorable trap. What's interesting about it is that it looks like crucifix in a certain, agreed dude did not deserve it. I just find it funny he hates that Hoffman enjoyed hurting people yet here he is openly stating he has a favorite trap and it so happens to probably be the most effed up one in the whole series lol.
I'm still salty about Kerry's death but I kind of understand why it had to happen. Partly because she knew too much and was getting too close to figuring it all out. Kerry had to go. Her being too close to working with dead bodies so much was just the icing on the cake.
So she didnt even do anything she was just close to solving the case and thats why they offed her. Sounds like john isnt playing fairly. Or if he even approved of this in the first place cause I think amanda did it
@@ΟΑυγολεμονος John didn't. It was Amanda with the help of Hoffman since Amanda's small ass couldn't pick up Kerry alone. When John found out, he was pissed. That's why he decided to give her one more chance. He even said so as much in the film.
Fantastic reaction! This is probably the turning point, as you mentioned, where they had already played their one good twist (Amanda) and so forever be trying to be a clever as that. But they still have nice surprises in store so they're still good watches.
And here's where the wheels fall off of the franchise. I'm sure at the time they didn't know they would end up making so many of these movies, but it's kind of funny how John Kramer is by far the most interesting character of the whole thing and they decide to kill him in the 3rd movie out of 9 so far. I mean he had cancer so he was going to die eventually anyway, but what a tremendous way to shoot themselves in the foot all things considered.

Some of the traps get pretty elaborate...to the point where you have to suspend your disbelief quite a bit that anyone could actually build them.
