It’s not a movie it is called TV show from the BBC and it is called call the midwife and it’s started out based on the memoirs of a nurse Jenny something or other but it has since gotten a life of its own literally and the character of sister Monica Jane I believe it her name is is one of the most memorable Others yes but I’ve always liked her the best probably because she is old and there is a certain bit of, but she’s not senile but there’s a certain bit of Agedness that you recognize about her she’s very old one of the oldest ones there in fact, but in many ways she is I don’t have words to put it, but the character played by this particular actress is just phenomenal. It’s a fantastic show and I highly recommend it taking in mind that it is it starts at the end of the second world war, and the beginning of the NHS in England’s healthcare and it goes up to the 1960s last I remember. I hope it helps.
I live very near a Catholic church and school and when I was young we had a Nun who was like that and the Parish went to the pound and adopted a mixed collie dog pup as a gift for her. The dog spent the rest of it's life there with her and everyone in the neighborhood loved that dog. She was named Lucky

My good girl of 16 years passed away last March. I picked her up from the street almost automatically when I saw that fur-ball doing weird puppy things at the sidewalk. Brought her home, gave her a bath, my parents told me she wasn't allowed to stay so I had to give her a name just or make adoption easier. Not knowing what name to pick, I just chose randomly. I called her Random, and I miss her dearly every single day. She was a very, very good girl, I thank God for the 16 years we were allowed with her in the family 🥹🥹
Was just thinking that this world still needs convents and abbeys where people can retreat from the world and live a life of cloistered worship & service. Some of us bear burdens in our hearts that solitude, contemplative prayer, service, and worship-filled routines give us solace, consolation, relief, purpose. Thank You God for meeting our needs in every way--especially in the blessed form of animals who give us such great joy! Bet St Francis of Assisi would sanction dogs within the sacred walls!😊💖

I attend United Church of Canada congregation in which pets are welcomed, especially dogs. They like refreshment time best. I keep organic vegan treats for them. I cannot keep a dog where I live now and it gives me great pleasure to treat these dear little members of our congregation.
