Tomorrow I have to give a FCE writing exam, so watching these kind of videos related to it are quite good for my knowledge at the moment to write an essay or a review, thank you for the video.
Great choice to watch this video if you are afraid of review writing.... It gave me lots of ideas how to improve the writing... Thnx a lot and good luck...
Your accent is the most difficult to comprehend, however by regular listening of different accent in English now I can understand you and by the way your explanation is excellent. And I like you and your lessons.
Hello Mam. Can you show example of videos about how to write a letter to council regarding improve area, footpath or any complaint in the UK? Thank you.
Hi Daiana, 'neutral language' in this context is the same as 'semi-formal'. It's between formal and informal writing styles. You can use contractions when writing in a neutral style. You can learn a bit more about formal, informal and neutral language in this lesson: www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/formal-informal-english. Hope this helps you!
Nice video, really useful. I have seen in some books like first trainer that there are subtitles like intoduction and so on, is it ok if I writ in down in the exam? Thanks a lot¡
Hi Marcia, you will write two texts. The first text is an essay. The second text can be an article, informal email or letter, a formal email/letter, a report, or a review.
Faishal rockstar Hey . There is just one way to improve your speaking skill: Speaking! I think you should look for a native speaker English friend to practice a lot.If there is not in your city, you can found them on the internet( Interpals, Hello talk,Speaky ..),so you can have chatting on Skype. I hope you have a great time!
I highly recommand doing describing pictures exercises for beginners as I do. This method helps you practicing your vocabulary and becoming more specific and confident while speaking. Once you feel comfortable with this you can watch movies and repeat many times with the same intonation untill you become familiar with speaking.
Hi Faishal, Iranildes and Hanna have great points! We also have some videos to help you improve your English: www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/how-to-learn-english, www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/speak-english-fluently.
Faishal rockstar what I’ve helped me, is to work with English speakers :0 and also be in dates with English speakers, it pushes me to look up in the dictionary the words I want to express
can i ask a question please, Somebody told me that , The plot has to be in Present simple, But i dont understand why it has to be so becuase , when you want to discribe something that you've already watched, it is suppossed that you're gonna use past simple to discribe something that you've already watched or done , so I don't understand why some people say that the plot has to be in present simple , i dont understand?
Hi Gerson, we use present simple because the plot is something that continues to exist, even after you watch it. The characters and overall idea always stay the same, not only when you watched it in the past. We use present simple to describe literature, movies, plays, and so on. Hope this helps you!
Hi Anh, we have a few lessons which can help you with this: www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/vocabulary-notebook, www.oxfordonlineenglish.com/learn-english-vocabulary.
Am I the only one who noticed the spelling mistake on the instructions? Have 'your' (should be you) read a book recently that you couldn't put down? Apart from that, quite helpful.
I am a huge fan of Oxford Online English. I teach literature as a second language in my country but this video is one of the lousiest videos from Oxfrod Online English that I have ever watched.
@@Oxfordonlineenglish1 Perhaps it was intended just for the specific task on how to write a Review for the B2 test, but usually Oxford Online English exceeds my expectations all the time.
