Having been a student of IIT Madras for almost 4 years, even we have never appreciated our campus so much. Probably we took it for granted. But being able to look at our campus and our culture through your perspective was, I would say, refreshing!!!
Most teachers are cool with that, but teachers who aren't are usually very strict and their courses will be a nightmare. So better attend classes or else people end up failing

Loved it. I went there 79-84 and the facilities have improved dramatically. I am not sure the food doesn’t look equally dubious and or delicious depending on the specific hostel! Great production! I have been numerous times in the campus of IIT-Madras.& brother eat either rasam or sambhar alone don't eat it together .& ofcourse procedure's in India for many things are like that but don't worry never mind in that stay cool always & take that as a challenge in your life.IIT-Madras is really a very wonderful place to learn things brother.applicants across India strive hard to go into such a prestigious institution brother.with gods grace you have got it somehow.every exchange student/non resident of that country throughout the world they face this food,communication etc.. etc.. problems brother.just take it as a new experience & enjoy & rock your college life brother.😉👍
What a truly beautiful and blessed life he is having ..a beautiful campus that is so natural ,green ,clean ; a life where he is able to enjoy the tiniest of things like - coconut , climbing trees ,yoga class , being alone and happy , dosa ... Well dosa is really heaven to everyone but still . I want to live exactly like this - cycle , trees ,food and alone time .

This is so eye-opening!! Bernardo, I must say you are really adaptable to live in a totally new (and complex) country! And in Chennai that too! As an NRI (non-resident Indian) sometimes I personally find India too overwhelming whenever I go back and visit :( which is really sad, but it is what it is. Which is why I'm always in awe of foreigners who take India's quirks and complexities in their stride!
Exchange program: foreign student and indian student change there place, basically that's happens. Indian student go to foreign university and foreign came to indian university for study . Both the university have a mutual bonding for that.

I have been numerous times in the campus of IIT-Madras.& brother eat either rasam or sambhar alone don't eat it together .& ofcourse procedure's in India for many things are like that but don't worry never mind in that stay cool always & take that as a challenge in your life.IIT-Madras is really a very wonderful place to learn things brother.applicants across India strive hard to go into such a prestigious institution brother.with gods grace you have got it somehow.every exchange student/non resident of that country throughout the world they face this food,communication etc.. etc.. problems brother.just take it as a new experience & enjoy & rock your college life brother.😉👍

This is so eye-opening!! Bernardo, I must say you are really adaptable to live in a totally new (and complex) country! And in Chennai that too! As an NRI (non-resident Indian) sometimes I personally find India too overwhelming whenever I go back and visit :( which is really sad, but it is what it is. Which is why I'm always in awe of foreigners who take India's quirks and complexities in their stride!

Exchange program: foreign student and indian student change there place, basically that's happens. Indian student go to foreign university and foreign came to indian university for study . Both the university have a mutual bonding for that.
