Crew skill video is in the description if interested. All terrain was also buffed for medium terrain, as it now has double the effect for that terrain type, so it is a very good skill. I am 99% sure this is video is correct, but if somehow I am wrong please let me know in the comments. It didn’t work this way before as shown on tanks.gg and anecdotal evidence but if something is wrong with this explanation in the video please let me know.
thanks again for a really helpful video, Off road driving looks like a good choice for pretty much every tank, I have just started replacing smooth ride with it, as I timed fully aiming with and without smooth ride, and it seemed to make no difference.
I've been testing it for quite some time in the common test 1 2 3. It's actually a game changer, it almost feels as if it is a speed buff, and not that many people know about it. I think it's definitely a must-have for all tanks except for maybe arta.
But the previous offroad driving effect is basically "doubled", meaning tanks that suffer from poor maneuverability issues (kran, IS7, 260, etc.) can somewhat get to their top speed now
@@jovidiantosoesilodewo9688 well that's good and all, but my point still stands, soft terrain is almost nowhere, the map they are testing it on is the only one I can think of, even lakeville heavy spot is not soft terrain anymore. Sure, that may change as they add new maps, but not right now. There is also +5% for medium terrain which can be helpful for those tanks you mentioned, but majority of tanks can already reach their top speed on medium terrain, so this DEFINITELY IS NOT must have perk. If anything is must have it's the Engineer perk (and BIA + repairs ofc).
@@eladamthegreat Indeed it's almost nowhere, but Offroad still offers a better "MANEUVERABILITY" buff (better acceleration and handling) than engineer. +1 kmh is very strong, but most tanks lack the maneuverability to be able to use it optimally (heavy and 15-0 meta), offroad basically nullifies most terrain drawbacks, as in it really helps with turning and relocating quicker not limited to medium or hard terrain. The doubled effect is really hard to pass on imho.
I remember facing you and Draps in a Pearl River match in Onslaught earlier today! I was curious to see who was rooming with Draps, and was surprised when I clicked on “view service record.”
Will probably be good for most tanks, but some few already have really good terrain resistances out of the gate. This skill moves down the priority list foe those I reckon.
I have done some testing and see no difference from running ORD on medium terrain but see massive difference on soft terrain so I feel like I will dropping it on triangles & heavies as they do not tend to play in soft terrain areas and only keeping it on lights and mediums since they do play in soft terrain.
cool, but imo kinda useless, tbh I have hard time remembering where we actually have soft terrain. atm only place I can think of is water cross on live oaks :D

@@dvamg I like both of those skills together. Engineer doesn’t affect engine power just top speed and reverse speed I think
I hadn't realized off road driving got a buff, that's wild! I'll have to redo the perks on my drivers now

Thanks for the vid. I saw the new 100% number and was like, "that's gotta be a buff"
The only issue with this is that soft terrain is nowdays almost nowhere lol
@@eladamthegreat good point

Simple, útil. Muchas gracias por compartirlo.
Damn....nice.
Great stuff dude. Any Onslaught video updates? Perhaps with a new tank other than the 430 ;)
But 430 is even stronger now, I want to see how much
You two make a nice couple
You guys are cute 😘
