@madquest8 Yeah, when someone doesn't sufficiently randomize their deck, huge red flag. If someone doesn't care about properly randomizing their deck, then they don't care about playing fair games. Every player should pile shuffle their deck once when they bring it out for the session as gesture of good faith.
Jan missed the landfall trigger due to Ashya being put into play. Each creature becomes a land, which then triggers landfall. The game was spicy, tho. Loved it.
jan actually had a really good loop as the lands he returns with yedora can be flipped face up so the spellsnatcher would have been able to counter one spell a turn. also the spell snatcher says that the spells are free so there wasnt really much reason to not play the stuff he countered.
This deck also has an infinite combo with yedora, zimone, and sakura-tribe Elder, effectively manifesting dread once and putting every basic from your deck onto the battlefield. What's crazy is I don't think it's even correct to do it all at once in this precon, because you want a consistent 2 lands per turn to cheat the costs on your manifests.
Yeah the deck just got a little too big brained by the end there. You need to really have goldfished those scenarios a few times to be able to resolve it effectively. My main reason for not liking face down decks honestly.
@@jimstewart4929 It's actually even better than that, because you can sac the Steve on every turn to manifest. So if you want big mana you can just tutor all your basics, or you can manifest and flip 4 times a round for free.
@@jimstewart4929If you refuse to find your basics from library, I think this let's you tap the face down forest (STE) while the flip is on the stack, once per loop. This gets you infinite green mana on demand.
I'm shocked you didn't add Nesting Ground to the Winter upgrade. Moving your finality counters onto your opponent's creatures would be great. It was the first upgrade I thought of.
It came up for the mirko upgrades too. I think if they're limiting the number of cards going in instead of the cost of those cards, skipping a nonbasic Land in favor of more splashy thematic cards likely makes more sense.

@@jerry32123 Great game Jerry! Love your humor. That coaching bit at the end was hysterical! 😂😂 Good to see you getting some gameplay in! Winter seems really fun, kinda like the Murders at Markov dimir deck but with green instead of blue.

Crazy how Jerry's turn 1 land would have completely changed all the following turns since he wouldn't have been able to do any of the things he actually did. Granted, he could've gotten a swamp with the Elder instead of a forest, but not until turn 3.
@@SwagMaster824 The enchantment deck hasn´t any oppressive win con in it. The commander is just delivering the miracle base, there are not many winning creatures and they are all bad if you don´t miracle into them and the rest of the gameplan is a stackish control plan, which only works with certain creatures and enchantments.
