I heard Billy Idol was in a motorbike accident in LA, and that week, Billy Idol hired us to frame some pictures for his hospital room. So I ended up framing some of Billy Idol's pictures, which I thought was kinda cool.

This video was made in 1990 when Idol was in a very bad motorcycle accident. He went into ICU and had surgery on his legs. This is why you only see him from the waist up in the virtual picture frame. Surprisingly, by the time of shooting the next video "L.A. Woman" they decided not to mask his injury even though he still had a ways to go and required a cane to walk. They just straight-up film him using a cane.
And lets not forget that stereo system was High End QUALITY! At least in this video it was. There is something almost magical about tapedecks... or maybe its just me and my memories...

They broke up so he moved to New York City to try something new. To mix his punk style with new styles from America. The result? The first two Billy Idol albums. The Legendary era of Billy Idol.
