I love the collection. Feels like a true aussie fantasy collection. It makes me definitely want to step up my reading game. I'm reading Words of Radiance right now and just loving it
About the Witcher books, I consider the two short story books to be the best without any doubt. For a long time people disagreed with this opinion, but it seems that people are starting to agree that The Last Wish and Sword of Destiny are the best way to enjoy it. I still need to read First Law, everyone says they're great.
My TBR is getting a little outrageous, but I saw some books on your shelf I definitely want to check out. (Child of the Night Guild and Elric) Hopefully gonna cruise through some of my books to finally get to some of the big ones I really am itching to read. Highly recommend finishing that last book of first law. I'm doing my first only reread and it's that trilogy.
Ahahah the Hydra TBR! I hope you get the chance to check both out they are great! I will definitely read the last argument of kings soon! I’ve just overcommitted on the buddy reads at the moment 😅😅
Great bookshelf tour Dylan- I need to check out Andy Peloquins stuff as well as Brian Lee Durfees stuff. 1984 is so in comparison with what is happening in the world today- I found it to be a really thought provoking yet scarily accurate read.
Thank you! I would definitely be keen to get Darkblade or Five Warrior Angels as a book club book 😀 I’ll have to move 1984 up on the tbr, that sounds super interesting!
@@SpacedOutWizard have you read Of Blood and Bone trilogy by John Gwynne ? It's so damn good, definetly worth checking out !!! A Time of Courage is my favourite fantasy book of all time,it's beyond amazing ! :D
I respect your spartan approach. I wish I'd had that earlier in life. I've since given away hundreds of books and thousands of magazines. I own 1589 audio and 135 kindle but only 100 or so physical.
@@SpacedOutWizard I've kept my movies since I've collected those for 40 years and I have about 3500 but those are smaller and lighter than books 😛 I've had to move too many times. Stick with Spartan, you'll thank me 🙌🏼🤣
I personally preferred book 1 to book 2 but that’s an unpopular opinion, there’s a lot more plot in book 2. But if the characters weren’t for you, I wouldn’t continue
@@SpacedOutWizard honestly, I think it was the plot. I liked the characters ok. Good depth. I will try book 2. I really want to like them because the titles are amazing lol
I love how most of the books are worn out, and appear to have been read over and over again. A true book lover family.
Thank you! We definitely are a good group of readers and love to share them around 😊

Thanks! I’m so glad to hear you are enjoying WoR, it’s my all time favourite book! I hope it keeps you reading 🙌

I will definitely have to read the short story collections, I just haven’t felt inclined to return to the world lately
Ahhh the Dragonbone Chair was another on my list I'd like to get to, as well as some First Law. Thanks for the tour.📖🥰📚
Thanks! I do need to get to the classics more

I have! I absolutely love the trilogy!
Nice stuff. You should check out the Drizzt books soon, I think you'll have a blast with those!
I think so as well! They sound right up my alley 😀

That’s really impressive! I like not having too many possessions but sometimes I get too tempted 😅😅

Oh wow that’s intense! Yea, I think I better keep my mostly minimalist ways 🤣
So happy you showed off the Elric books. One I’ve been wanting to get to
I’m glad to hear it! I hope you enjoy them when you get to them
Damn, our shelves are SOOOOOO alike! LOVE IT!
Ahahah so good!
Gotta dive into those Fiest books man! Midkemia is waiting for you...
I really do aye! I will definitely get there one day, just need to finish some of the series I’ve started
The struggle is real.
I have really wanted a closer look at your book shelves, i do it every house I'm in can't help myself
What do you do every day?
lol..what you give books away to folks :) jokes..love it :) also now i know why utube threw u my way..i so so need to read will of the many
Ahahah :) thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy Will of the Many, I’m 20% in and quite enjoying it
Are you missing the middle book in Five Warrior Angels?
I am, they are pretty expensive to get in Australia so I was only able to get those when they were discounted
Where in Aus are you located? There’s a great bookstore in Perth if you’re looking for those TOR editions of Sanderson
I’m in SA, but was born in WA! Go Eagles! 🦅
@@SpacedOutWizard haha I’m the complete opposite! Go Crows! If you’re ever back in Perth, checkout White Dwarf Books.
Heading to the showdown tonight, the Crows better come to play! Tho… it’s been rough a while 😥
I’ll remember it!
A real treasure trove. Tell me, does the first law improve after book one? I didn't hate book one, but it didn't grip me like I'd hoped.

@@SpacedOutWizard I liked Glokta (spelling. I listened to it lol)
He’s great and has an incredible plot line too but yea, I wouldn’t recommend continuing for you if you don’t like the others

They are great titles 😅😅
