thank you for the video... Graduated in 2009, stayed in Hale Manoa for 2,5 years pursued my Master Degree in DURP, best time. I wish I could come back and enjoy the ambience...
Graduated in 1988, lived in Gateway, the round dorms and East West Center Hale Manoa, best times of my life, it was a blast. I worked the front desk at Lincoln Hall, Hale Kuahine and the main Easr West Center dorm. I loved when we had tropical storms and from my dorm window I could hear the stream rushing with water coming from Manoa Valley. I used to walk to that Longs Drugs in Manoa Valley too for snacks.😊
What an awesome video, you girls got down on this video, with the music and showing the campus, me and laurie loved it and yes more videos like this would be awesome, okay we really enjoyed your video and we will see you on the next one take care bye 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
This is the first time I've come across a UH vid that has my building in it! I'm coming in as a transfer into the SLS program so that was a very pleasant surprise to see!
There are some classes in different departments that are specifically about horses and then there’s an animal sciences program in CTAHR (college of agriculture and Human Resources)! Hope you can find something you like!!
Is the East west centre graduate degree fellowship a fully funded scholarship ?Can i apply for it after submitting my application to UH Manoa? Are there any chances of getting it?
The student affiliate program is a scholarship for reduced housing costs! It doesn’t cover all of the costs but it’s affordable ☺️ you’ll need to study something pacific/Asia-related to get it but I think the chances of getting it are high! They have a few other scholarship options but we‘re not as familiar with them. Most (if not all) of their housing is for grad students only, though! I don’t see why you shouldn’t apply as soon as possible even if you don’t have your admission letter yet, it’s probably good to get the application out anyway! Good luck!! 🤞🍀
Not much has changed since I went here in the 70's, but this is an incomplete tour. I loved going here back then, but it looks like nothing has been kept up. They have an awesome school of medicine and TIM for those pursuing hotel business.
I know so many students who don’t have a car or moped and get around just using the buses! There’s The Bus that students can use for free and it stops at a few places around campus/housing. There’s also a rainbow shuttle, the campus shuttle, that goes directly to different buildings on campus and dorms. The Bus also takes you out of campus so you can easily go to the beach or up to the valley.
@@alexusandmichi welcome dear. I want studying in anthropology Department for masters and ph.d programme at University of Hawaii. Now i am student in Department of Sanskrit (linguistics).

@@alexusandmichi of course. Why not. You video makes me huge inspired. Now my Research focus on Archaeology, antiquities and linguistics. So i love Archaeology and i decided to may career on Archaeology Department, maybe anthropology professor or curator. Is it possible?
That’s awesome! UH does have an anthropology department that offers both MAs and PhDs, you can check out the website below to learn more or maybe contact some grad students in that dept for more info!! anthropology.manoa.hawaii.edu/graduate/

A lot has changed since I graduated in 1986.
Is there any sort of equine science program that you’ve heard of at U H?

Err, is Johnson Hall A & B still around? How about Hale Laulima?
I wasn’t sure, so had to look this up. But yes, apparently those two buildings are still around 😊
I love it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

That’s crazy. This definitely isn’t a complete tour of the whole university and doesn’t include the new UH medical campus (which is very pretty)!
Applied for team content producer job to hoop with Clippers who supposed to have training camp at Hawaii OCT 3-OCT 9 & a preseason game.
Oh wow, that sounds awesome!
@@alexusandmichi yes thanks
