Awesome little layout, with so many brilliant ideas! My favorites so far: - Everything in one place, even the trains. No extra boxes to haul around. - Filling structures with foam to add rigidity. - Attaching structures with magnets! - “Good enough“ modeling on the structures. - Built-in folding legs. - Air shock opener. Only at 40 minutes, but have learned a lot. Thank you for this and all of your excellent videos.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this build! - Every detail has been cleverly worked out and would make a great starting point for new modellers or something to take to train shows - If you did make the structures removable, it could be something that could be changed out every now and then to give variety! Great stuff, many thanks from Melbourne, Australia...
It is set up to be a puzzle, so you have to solve how to move the cars to their end locations (determined by shuffling the car cards). It can take a while to figure out if you have a lot of cars on the track since there is limited space. Kind of like the deal where you have to move a stack of rings from one peg to another in a specific order.
Thanks for combining all of the various videos together! I finished mine about a year ago but haven't done any scenery yet. What do you feel are the appropriate number of cars to switch on this layout without it being to difficult or too easy?

Fantastic build, Steve. Watched till the end and thoroughly enjoyed the video.
Glad you liked it!
Love this!
Very cool 👍🏻
Steve I really like this layout.
How much does it weigh complete with trains, power supply, controller ect?
Something I’ll need to figure out at some point. Haven’t actuality weighed it completely finished yet.

Steve, getting some audio distortion on this one
Sorry about that. Reprocessing already processed videos instead of the raw video caused issues apparently.
