Perfect! Just what I needed. I'm putting on the third set of signs on my truck (business moves, name changes, etc.). The first two times were a nightmare. Now it's (relatively) easy thanks to your video.
Sign installer here.. we do big building signs and monument signs but occasionally we get some vinyl for the store front, hours, arrows, business name, etc. Thank you! Super simple process that can be nerve racking at times...
I love the amount of knowledge this channel gives out thanks to Patrick . He should have more than 100k subscribers by now. But hey more knowledge for the small amount of tinters already here ! 👌
Watched this video a couple years back and it was helpful then, and helpful again now. I think I’ll be adding the step of adding some leveled drawn or taped lines to ensure nothing is crooked. I’m dealing with six square window panels that are each 36x36 inch
This was super helpful, thank you! I got some vinyls from Etsy but either lost directions or they didn’t send. I’ve done it before but it’s been awhile. Nice to follow instructions from a pro as there were a couple tips if not seen or used before👍
I appreciate the helpful tips. Def going to use this method from now on rather then eye balling it based off my judgement. 1 business down, many to go hopefully! Better late then never learning from my mistakes.
I just got a quote today for a door glass decal and was shocked at what was quoted for 1) driving to installation location (approx 8 miles) and, 2) actually installing it. The cost for these two things (i.e., installation) alone in my case was quoted at more than 2X the cost of the decal.
Hi dude can you explain why you use paper transfer tape instead of vinyl/plastic, is better the paper because it can not stretch and transform the stickers?
Hi I m completely new to vinyl lettering. Why did you use the soap water over the surface and vinyl to fix the graphics. Normally detergent can wash away the adhesive or glue... Isn't it. Any special adhesive.... Please tell me how does it works. Thanks
Most stickers you purchase will be pre weeded. Only time you need to weed out the vinyl would be if you’re cutting the pattern out on a plotter yourself. This video just focused on the install.
Great video!!!! Thanks! What would you charge for something like this? I'm new to vinyl sign orders so what I keep calculating isn't what I would pay or charge lol. Thanks!!!
I don't like your putting the vinyl on the OUTSIDE of door. Glass blocks UV radiation so the vinyl would degrade much slower on the INSIDE. Sure, this means a longer time before you get a repeat order from the same customer. But you do have a more satisfied customer.
Thanks for watching everyone!
GOOD DAY PLEASE WHAT TYPE OF VINYL IS USED FOR THE INDSIDE OF THE WINDOW TO SHOW OUTSIDE ... THANKS
You just saved me from looking like a foolish amateur. Alright, heading to the main entrance of my company to give this a go!
Really clear and down to earth and to the point without any long winded dialogue and no cats
Thank you! So helpful.
I like how you didn't talk a lot and just let us see the process!

Great video, exactly hat I needed. The taping of one side the swapping side worked so well. Thanks.
Video was a life saver, you're a professional. Thank you
This was helpful to see someone do it, thx Patrick 👍
Very clear instructions. If I needed to hire someone to update my business front - it would be you. So meticulous.
Very helpful. It would have been great to see how you made sure the decal was centered.
This is AWESOME! What a genius install method!
Super helpful, I'm about to apply on several windows and now feel much more confident! Thank you.
Thank you! Exactly what I needed. Great tutorial.

Is the film you use for dry install different from vinyl you would use for wet installs? Cheers great video.
He makes it look so easy.
That was going to be my line. You Rat :)
Because it is easy.....
what kind of vinyl is being used?
Great instructional video. can you show the tools you used? thank you.
I notice that you use paper verses plastic/vinyl transfer tape, is there a difference why?
How much would u charge for a sign like that
Thx it worked great for me 🙏🍀

Could you please show me how to print it
Could you have also used soapy water to help with the decal??
A slip solution is doable but I feel that it takes longer to cure and the individual vinyls could shift in the process
Excellent video, thanks!
I’m glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
How much should be charged for something like that?

Did you weed that vinyl before hand etc. Should've included those steps in the video.

Thank you, you made me feel a lot better about doing it myself
How do u determine to do wet or dry install? I’m doing some and was told to do wet but they were really hard to stick since it’s all individual lett
Letters
can you plz tell which sheet is this called
The cream colored paper is called transfer tape.
@@WindowTintingBusiness what brand of transfer tape do you use?
Thank u
Thank you!
Great tips!
great video! whats the difference with using a wet or dry application? is one better over the other?
Wet is good for applying big sheets of vinyl as it can crease easily but for lettering is not necessary
@@robertt8862 thanks for the response. I appreciate it. 👍🏼
Smooth
THank you!!! :)
