Did I miss something? This isn’t etching /etched glass. It’s 651 permanent vinyl on glass.
You can etch glass using an etching cream.

I'm going to apply a 17" word to a 3' x 2' Plexiglas sign and I'm concerned about getting it on straight. I'm considering the wet method and appreciate the video. I've heard Plexiglas can be damaged easily by chemicals and hope the soap will not cloud it. Also I'm using removable vinyl, will this work using the wet method?

@@Expressionsvinyls It was a nightmare. After 10 hours the adhesive from the clear (plastic) transfer tape dissolved onto the vinyl and piece by piece, letter by letter I really had to work it but finally succeeded AND it was STILL wet in numerous places. Never again. Paper transfer tape only for my future. Thanks!

Wet application is only going to work for application to the blank. Wet between layers to build a decal that can be shipped is likely to be very difficult if not impossible.

depend on how much soap you use, more soap longer drying time, less soap shorter drying time, if you get your mixture right about 5-15min and then the adhesive will take about 12-24 hour to bond to the surface in the past I use the wet method on a surface which was 10 feet by 6 feet

The wet application method works on non-porous surfaces,. There needs to be no pores that can trap air or water. It's best on stainless steel, glass etc. You may be able to do one other layer on top of that but you'd want to be careful not to ruin the base layer or risk it moving with the layer on top.
