Prior to watching the video, I was under the misconception that the Articles had an executive branch albeit a weak one, however now I know that such was not the case and the lack of an executive branch is among the Article's most significant weaknesses. - Eduardo Alvarez ( 7th period Ap Gov)
I watched it Mr raymond! Shay's rebellion proved the articles were too weak when they realized the central government had no money to pay the soldiers or to fund a national police due to the lack of taxes or authority.

Gee, its too" bad he left out the "Convenient fact" of the First Treaty ever signed that gave the colonist their actual standing in the international community, called the "Treaty of Marrakech/Morocco" or in the west the Treaty of Friendship and Peace negotiated between the years 1777-86 by ministers planning potentiary, Barclay, John Jay and Thomas Jefferson who would go on to become the president of the united states, as the French, did initially side with the rebelling colonists, and is why they do not have the distinction of being the "First Country to Recognize" the colonists attempts at statehood. George Washington's letter to the Sultan of Morocco, clearly illustrates this overwhelming since of gratitude, stating in it, the "United States was an appendage to the Moroccan Kings Sovereign realm much of which was here upon the ancient American continents, both north and south. There is also a mention of the very generous $LOAN$ of $25,000 Silver Dollars to develop the Treasury of the weak united states recently recovering from the war with Britain. I had had the fortune of seeing the actual documentation from the time, written in the hand of George Washington the ninth president of the United States, as John Hanson was the first, president of the Continental Congress i.e. confederated states. Real civics 101!
Oh, sorry, didn't see the 7th grade posting. I was attempting to generate a healthy discussion on the incredible history of our nations earlier doctrinal formation within the context of all parties in confederation. Thanks, and look forward to future documentaries.
A better explanation of a Constitution is a contract between the people and the government. Further, the judiciary's job is not to determine if the laws are fair, it is to determine if the law is being applied properly and to interpret the purpose of the law.

Oh, sorry, didn't see the 7th grade posting. I was attempting to generate a healthy discussion on the incredible history of our nations earlier doctrinal formation within the context of all parties in confederation. Thanks, and look forward to future documentaries.
Hey its lorenzo, i learned about shays rebellion and how the articles of confederation were weak
I learned that a constitution is a rule book for the government that tells you how the government works, what it can do, and how it is set up.
I learned that the uprising that proved to the colonists that the Articles of Confederation were to weak was Shay's Rebellion!!
Good job Guishay!

Hi Mr. Raymond I watched your video.
Shay's rebellion proved that the articles of confederation was too weak
Good Marti
One of the weakness of the articles of confederation was that congress could not tax or regulate commerce among states
That "weakness" was intentional. They just ditched a king. The Constitution put them back under a "king".
I watched the video and did the guided notes. i learned that, constitution is a "rule book" for the government-it tells you how it is set up.
Good Anna
A better explanation of a Constitution is a contract between the people and the government. Further, the judiciary's job is not to determine if the laws are fair, it is to determine if the law is being applied properly and to interpret the purpose of the law.
Good points Joseph!
Mr Raymond i watched the video and did the guided notes

Thanks, but it won't make my situation better... haha...
Through sheys rebellion, the articles were proven to be weak
One of the weaknesses of the Articles of Confederation was that congress couldn't tax.
What where the strengths?
Not many but: they could make laws... make treaties, attempt to carry out a war... and many liked the fact that the states had all the power
I watched your video! The "Articles" was adopted in 1777 but wasn't ratified until 1781.
