      Tourism is not our top money earner. It is oil and gas, manufacturing, electronics/electrical. So better to be under rated otherwise the prices will go up.

    Maybe my next videos in Paris will be also cheap.. No i don't think so... what you think??

    • @jonmath4182
      @jonmath4182 ปีที่แล้ว

      If you earn a very decent income in pound sterling or maybe even in usd, then yeah there is a chance you can personally claim it is somewhat cheap staying in paris, especially if you take advantage of the various cost and price reductions, for eg you take metro and bus of the same company to move about instead of buying and maintaining a car, and you take discounted weekly/monthly pass for the trains&buses instead of paying single trip for every ride. Can't remember how much was the unlimited monthly pass, but weekly pass for all zones 1-5 was 22+ euros, so it'd be safe to budget 90 euros for the monthly pass. Imagine being free from having to pay, say €500 for monthly car loan repayments and say €200 for petrol, plus a further say €100-300 as the equivalent monthly spread for maintenance, servicing, repairs. That is easily 90 versus about 1,000 which is very cheap indeed due to efficient and extensive public transport network in paris, plus the city being rather friendly for walking to go places. You definitely can clock 10,000 steps in paris in a day

    Good video, but i would really like to know more about apartments. You talked mostly about hotels. Id like to know the range of low to moderate rent. I go for public transportation for several reasons: usually the cheapest, less probability of an accident, getting to know ppl & its spaciousness & cool. Street food is exquisite. Great place! I'll be checking you out. Your girlfriend/wife is good for the aesthetics of your videos! 😁

      @@lidkagatarek3023 3 bdrm 1,500, 1 bdrm or studio must be a fraction of that. Luv the infrastructure of the place. In that way it surpasses the rest of S.E. Asia. As you say public transportation is cheap & again, ahead of the rest. Food 👍 I am really nuts about Vietnam & Thailand; KL adds another flavor to the mix! Starting to see the advantages of Laos too. A far cry from the others, but it has its advantages too. Cambodia 👎 No thanks! Indonesia? Tell me something; do you have to be fingerprinted in KL to get a visa? I vaguely remember seeing something about that. If so I would cross it off my list! Unless I'm under arrest I will not submit to that. Absurd practice! Let me know & thanks a million for the response & first hand info! It's greatly appreciated. 👍🇲🇾🥢

      @@whatsname2649 yes they do take fingerprints on arrival in KL in the airport. Just outside KL in serdang or sri kem you can rent already furniture apartment for 1500 rm so around 280euros. Or a room for 400rm - 80 euros

      @@lidkagatarek3023 thank you for the info! Greatly appreciated, but the fingerprint policy is a deal breaker!!! I find that as intrusive as a colonoscopy! The last thing I expect when visiting a foreign nation where I'll be spending my hard earned dollars is to be greeted like a suspected criminal. Too many options out there to be dealing with that crap.
      However, thanks again for your time and valuable info!!! 🇲🇾👎🧟

      @@whatsname2649 last month I went to Indonesia and I just got ripped off by the food vendor as soon as I spoke English with them. Meanwhile, the locals next to me paid less than me despite having the same menu. Compared to Malaysia, it's against the law if any sellers sell the prices that are different in their menu. Don't tell me about them kept pushing me to buy their stuff despite repeatedly saying no to them. Overall, I'm not having a good time when I'm in Indonesia compared to Malaysia and Thailand 😔
