I talk about some of the most expensive pulls you can pull from packs from serialized historic figures like Leonardo Da Vinci to Textured Foil Mythics like Ezio and Edward Kenway! There are some spicy cards if you know what you're looking for!

Just wanna add for anyone looking to buy these cards, as the set isn't out until July 5th at the time of commenting, prices will most likely TANK hard like they usually do. Obviously there is no true way to know, but I genuinely would never recommend to preorder unless it's a card you truly believe will retain or increase in price. Many MH3 cards were preordering for pretty hefty prices, like Ulamog at $100m and you can now pick one up for $45. So be careful out there!
I got mine early because the BX at my base usually gets stuff a little bit earlier

I think you're overlooking the fact that a lot of people will skip this set because they either don't like assassins creed or they arnt wanting to buy 7 card booster packs in which case there won't be alot of singles about on the market for these current higher value cards of this set. Whereas a lot of people cracked mh3 boosters and thus there was more of those expensive cards of the market. Typically tho every set the last few years tanks in value within 1 week of release for that reason.
I find it wild that anyone would preorder the singles before release for this crazy prices
shopping addiction + fomo is a horrible combo. or they just have money. if i could afford to regularly buy a $150 single i probably would
FOMO is real.
I pre-ordered all the texture cards off cardkingdom and didn't pay over 40 for any of them. In total, I got every single card showcase and foil I wanted from the set and didn't spend more than a collector booster and some change. All of the ppl that talked shit on the set allowed for that. 🤷♂️
Sokrates been written in ancient Greek is a good fcking touch
Same with all the other historical figures being in their languages
I absolutely hate that you can only get him in greek serialized though.
And the best thing is that the translation is accurate

I pulled a serialized Leonardo. I went to pick up me preorder of a beyond booster box at my LGS, and on their website the collector booster boxes had already been sold out. When I picked up my preorder, I saw through the glass where they keep their MTG cards a collector booster. The guy working confirmed that it was an error on their part that it wasn't available, and corrected it. Immediately bought it. One of the luckiest days in my life ever.
How much is it worth now?

One of my favorite pulls of all time was a serialized Sword of the Paruns
While sure, it's only priced at 80ish according to Scryfall's TCG player data, still an amazing pull especially considering it was my second RR collector pack

Ive been lucky to find the 333/500 sword of the paruns. Now they making serials way rarer somif they keep it this way it will naturally increase the price od the majorityof serials over time.

My luck was going to buy the $26 pack change my mind and bought the box my little brother got the $26 pack pulled a serial lernado
Can you pull these from beyond boosters as well or just the collectors

Out of curiosity is it 2k serialized cards for each language or is it 2k spread out through all the languages?
English, nothing else, Cleo and Socrates being in greek and Da Vinci being in italian is only flavor.
Probably each region gets its own pool.
It's 2000 total, across all language packs.
I will assume I got some lower rarity of Ezio, Pulled one that looks just like that but card feels smooth like any other so no "Texture"

Wow, I guess overpricing for drama? Will you do this vid again after the set comes out and the prices tank? Also, serialized for thousands, sure, or hundreds, same thing.

Seems like really bad value. Also, /500s don't usually go for thousands. As someone who's pulled a dozen of them, some go for less then $40 and very, very few go for more than a thousand.

Honestly just wait 2 weeks after the release date and most of these cards will tank. Some may keep a modest value due to their special arts.

Borderless showcase foil ezio is going for $80 in foil so idk where you got $30 from
The $80 one is the textured foil, which has fallen since this video came out. The rest have shifted a bit, but aren’t up to $80.
@MTGRecon wrong the borderless one the one that makes the artwork with the lands is currently $78 on tcg not $30 a quick search will tell you the same thing
@@coltenosborne9156 actually that’s the borderless scene one, not the “showcase” style as your first message stated. I know it’s easy to mix up, so I totally get where your confusion would come from.
Also, prices shift, and the borderless one was about $30 when this video came out.

Just give it a few months the cards always go down in price. I hardly ever buy new sets right when they come out anymore learned the lesson to many times.
Its wild how ugly most of these cards are. The OTJ news cards, the hatsune miku "looks like someone hit her in the face with a brick" cards, the SLD social media cards, and now more terrible art.
