I reallllly wish Shane Curruth wasn't (allegedly) an abusive asshole in his private life. I loved Primer, and Upstream Color even more (especially after learning it was shot on a GH2); I was looking forward to seeing what he did next.
That's a bitch, right! But, c'mon, let's face it... The dude was literally just too smart for Hollywood. Even Nolan has either dumbed down or made it an explosion spectacle. I feel the same as you. No other movie got even close regarding the "layers". It took me about 5 watches to make it close to right. I still missed a couple. Cheers!!!

The short film "Stalled" really reminded me of Primer, I'd recommend it.
And great video, your title kinda sums up Primer perfectly lol.
It was the first sci-fi movie that didn't treat me like an idiot. It just made me feel like an idiot. Fair and square.
