Join me on East Coast Mainline for a cruise with the LNER Class 801 AZUMA including safety systems and how to reset from a vigilance stop and a TPWS event.
@@TriuraniumOctoxide you can certainly get yourself into interesting situations, glad this helped you get out. It's kinda fun really I have to put myself into situations then solve the puzzle then make the video 😄
@@trainsimulatordriver haha - true! My problem was the waiting for a minute! And by the time the minute is up, I'd clicked everything else and probably borked it even further xD. Had not come across your channel before, but that was helpful - have subbed. Going to dig through your archive and see what other gems you have up your sleeve :)
@@TriuraniumOctoxide yeah it's one of those things, if you don't know then you don't know and I too resort to random button pressing when everything else fails! I'll be making tutorials for all the tsw5 locomotives/trains. Make sure your grab your free upgrade to TSW5 between sep17 and Oct17 by claiming the free starter edition
Just bought this yesterday Do you have to switch on the safety systems behind the seat to get it going just out of interest? Looks a very good simulator 👍
You don't need to turn on the safety systems on most trains (there are occasional exceptions where they're on by default like Swiss trains). It's a fairly good compromise between simulator and game with enough challenge to satisfy most simulation users and enough fun to satisfy most gamers
You dont really NEED safety systems like AWS or PZB or SIFA, but you still need to be aware of the upcoming signals because if u get an SPAD then you will be kicked to the main menu
I travel on these sometimes. They actually run on diesel engine for some of the routes in North Scotland where the lines have not been electrified but they feel so slow after being on the faster part of the track.
Yep that's what they're meant to do. DSD requires the driver to press down a pedal. So if you stand up you're not pressing down the pedal so the train stops and beeps.
Its a rail safety system designed to implement unity of train control and safe working across Europe. You can read about it at en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/European_Train_Control_System
I did it in the tutorial (at least I hope I did) but you would not be able to see the switch as it is behind the fireman's leg. Walk over to the firemans side and look at the side wall under the window. You will see the isolation switch there. I'll be driving Scotty on my stream in the morning tomorrow.
On the big HUD there is. On the current minimal HUD no there isn't. We've seen a new version of the minimal HUD where you can optionally have it show the speed. I prefer to use the speedo provided as part of the train cab.
Needed that, thanks. Had resorted to using the TSW reset simulation function to get going again :)

Hi, i have doubt, can we run all the previous DLC'S on TSW4?
Yes everything from TSW2 and TSW3
I travel on these sometimes.
They actually run on diesel engine for some of the routes in North Scotland where the lines have not been electrified but they feel so slow after being on the faster part of the track.
Yeah I imagine they would. Last mile diesels are not powerful usually.
But how do I recover form a emergency brake application?
@@thegamer_raptor5274 watch the video from 11:49 and I explain it
Did u play from ps5 or pc
I run PC and Xbox/S mostly. I do have the game on PS4 and 5 but they're my son's so I can't hook them up for streaming or recording.
Im on PS4 i need to know all saftey systems to tirn on so i can earn more AP
@@imam3986 ok so watch the video then, I turn them all on as soon as we're in the cab
Hey Paul, does this train throw any sparks up on the wires? Great vid!👍
I'm pretty sure I've seen a screen shot with sparks. Try it in the wet or snow in dark to maximise the opportunity.
my pan just won’t go up.how do i solve it?
what happened that it went down?
Literally just want my sons to be able to get in put the pantograph up and drive the train forward….
how did it end up down? It normally starts in the up position
@@trainsimulatordriver no sir it's down at the starting
@@SiddhShah-t5t is the one at the other end up? Most trains have the pantograph furthest from the driver up
@@trainsimulatordriver no sir, but I saw a tutorial to fix it anyways make crazy videos of tsw 4 and 5 too waiting for them
@@SiddhShah-t5t what did you need to do to fix it? Can you tell me the service you found it on too? And you can be sure I'll make TSW5 videos 😄
When i put on the safety systems on this train and move the train it automatically stops and when i leave the seat it the train beeps

What is the purpose of the ETCS safety system?

Can you do one on enabling aws on the flying scotsman can't find the switch anywhere in the loco

You may not have seen this one th-cam.com/video/6u_drqHZZ5M/w-d-xo.html which is the FSCT Tutorial
And is there cab lights on this train?
Yes there are. There's a switch but if you can't find it press L.
Wait so do I just press the yellow acknowledge button every time I pass a yellow signal, to prevent the train from automatically stopping?
Every time you hear the tone or see the sunflower light up. It's triggered by an device between the rails. Not every signal has one.
Azummaaaaa
And what does an Azuma do? Zoooooooooooooooom.
