I absolutely loved how Sass so matter of factly told him that they need to eat. I totally expected Noroo(yeah idk how to spell that) to pipe up and say "Actually, as shocking as it may sound, I haven't eaten in over a year🥲"
I think maybe he feed nooroo but he just doesn't know that fact that it also energises them because most of the time he uses his power once a time so maybe he didn't realised it till now that feeding them is important
I think it makes sense that Gabe didn't leave the USB-Stick there. It shows that he spent so much time on defeating Ladybug, that it became his main goal. Even though saving Emilie is still his motivation, achieving his goal to defeat Ladybug became more important for him. And his dream is to create the perfect world for him and Emilie (he said that in Dearest Family), not just saving her.
I agree, it makes sense for Gabriel. I think season 1 Gabe would have done it, but this Gabe just wants to get back at the heroes no matter what. Plus he's loosing his mind from wearing all the miraculouses.
Unfortunately, I don't think Astruc will allow that to be part of his character, instead he'll go on a parade on Twitter blocking everyone who thinks that and doesn't worship his "deep and thoughtful" writing about a smooth brain adult who loses to kids on a daily basis.
Thinking back to Kwamibuster, when Fu says that merging too many miraculous could make one lose their mind, it finally comes into play here and that’s why Gabe was so smooth-brained this episode
Going down that line, I'm guessing that Ladybug and Chat Noir's final battle with Monarch will probably be a lot like Azula's in ATLA. Ie: He just ends up losing it when they restrain him.
@@bluebird1914 Well supposedly Ladybug will be trapped alone by hawkmoth not monarch. The only reason she's able to escape is because she combines the two miraculous of ladybug and black cat. The question is how. Like does adrien reveal himself to marinette during one of the supposed "dates", and gives her his miraculous with the promise to stay safe. It's a shame if this is true since it seems Emily will be lost if he doesn't get the wish, and he just up and THROWS away the miraculous out of spite giving up his wish too. Though I feel like emily will be saved in the future, either by marinette who will be the only one to know his identity, or Felix who will turn her against gabriel.
i want to believe thats the reason but it dosent seem like its stated that would happen. iirc when ladybug meets fu he dosent say anything like that. but that still wouldnt explain why hes so smooth brained before this
I know it's an unpopular opinion but I actually like monarch's suit, purple skin and all because I see the purple skin as a representation of how he has lost all of his hummanity.
I agree exactly! I like it His chest has the butterfly window from the pv, his skin and eyes are purple like the peacock miraculous, showing how they’re combining with him more. Gabriel is going to lose it before LB and CN can defeat him.
I love how they keep saying how powerful and dangerous the rabbit miraculous is when the two main ones are canonically more powerful. Sure, creation and destruction combined can change reality, but the rabbit alone has time, which is already op as is. This show definitely has a power scaling problem.
this makes no sense you literally just agree with the show. the cat and ladybug miraculous alone aren't that great. (minus the fact that you an create new powers with the ladybug miraculous) and the bunny is 3rd most powerful. (also rooster isn't that overpowered as it has the same limitations as the butterfly. no bringing someone back to life and making wishes and stuff like that)
From what I understood, Alix can't come back to her timeline as the connection of her miraculous to Hawkmoth is still ongoing. Fortunately, the ball cannot pass through time directly (otherwise Ladybug wouldn't have to first come back to the present and then retrieve the kid's doll in Strike Back). Even in Evolution, Gabriel threw the ball at Alix, and she jumped into the Burrow, but the ball didn't follow her. It seems like the connection to the dog's ball is terminated only by renouncing the miraculous or having the miraculous stolen (seeing as when Felix renounced Barkk, it was not longer attached to the Ladybug miraculous). And since Hawkmoth still owns Barkk, if Marinette or Alix have the Rabbit Miraculous out in their homes or on their person outside the Burrow, he can still snatch it back. But yeah, pretty confusing.
This episode was good. But it did irritate me how ladybug could have grabbed some miraculous when monarch was passed out or even down or tied up. Like they had the opportunities!!
I guess if the villains in this series are too slow to grab the miraculous at first opportunities then the heroes should be as well sometimes. Still, it was a super annoying scene.
@@brendonslife4584 they stopping after the bunny and started talking. They should have grabbed more. The bee, the fox she she could get Rena back and just as many as possible. She had all the chances
I wish the ending was this: He dropped the flash drive on the blanket like he was supposed to, but nothing changes. Gabriel is confused and Natalie is pissed. Gabriel goes through the old picnic stuff and finds the flash drive and realizes that he had it this entire time. He simply didn't notice it because he was too wrapped up in the excitement of that night with Emily. That would have been much better and it would have made me feel for the guy. I have absolutely no more sympathy for him. Natalie has a right to be angry. He used her and threw her out. I would be so angry if I was in her shoes. She risked everything for that man and he couldn't do that one simple thing. What the heck Gabriel.
6:06 Yeah actually he had never fed Norou. When you're an adult kawmis can use the energy of you instead of actual food( Thomas said that himself) But in this episode because he was using all the other miraculouses, he began to be weakened, fainted and passed out. But like if it is only 1 or 2 miraculous, it wouldn't be a problem if he doesn't feed them.
I seriously hope that Nathalie doesn't go back to helping gabriel again, the moment I saw her finally taking a stand against all his smooth-brain actions was just so satisfying to watching even though I feel like she had to go through all of this to understand that
I thought this was a joke. She should have left the guy ages ago but his current plan broke her more than the Peacock miraculous. Mans had time travel at his disposal. Burrow is literally just a transport device. Merely putting his hand through a portal at a particular point of space time would have fixed everything. Considering he knows who the former guardian was it should have been an option to just burrow immediately while he was out in an attempt to hand out the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous and just yoink them and leave. He had a literal winbutton. If I were Nat at this point I would have fucked off too.
Nathalie admired Gabriel for his love and determination to save Emily, she helped him hoping that he could really save them both, Gabriel messing up the plan made Nathalie furious and thought that he wasn't doing it for them anymore, all he wanted now was to defeat Ladybug and Chat Noir, he wanted power, like she said, he's crazy. At that point, Nathalie had lost a lot of trust and respect for him. If he really loved and cared for Nathalie and Emily, he would've already rewritten everything before Ladybug and Chat Noir defeated him.
@@yez9475 well she saw him use the time travel miraculous so she thinks she is gonna win. In that season she wasn’t as exposed to his failures. I think seeing him jump through time caused her to use the broken peacock miraculous to take a risk. This leads her to share about taking risks. It then leads to him using to his time traveling to her. After she sees the result of why she took the risk; she gets mad and gives up.
I think Alix is more concerned for her father. Even if she only time travels a few weeks, her father and brother could still be in danger. And my guess is Bunnyx will be needed for a battle so has to time travel to said battle which would mean no Alix for a bit but it's just my thoughts Also Nathalie creaming Gabe was awesome he deserved it. Hoping this means Nathalie can be her own villian for some time (with maybe Lila's help I'm not sure)
Honestly I liked that cat noir got the rabbit miraculous. The reason being that it shows growth on ladybugs part and honestly time travel takes precision, much like a certain destructive cat miraculous.
That would be nice but except the only reason that Marinette gave Cat Noir the bunny miraculous is because of she saw herself and Cat Noir/Adrien with the bunny miraculous chasing down Monarch. If the writers just cut that scene out and just had Ladybug give Cat Noir the bunny miraculous then I would agree but since we got the scene with Ladybug and Cat Noir seeing their future selves chasing down Monarch then no.
Evolution was a GREAT episode to me to start off S5 of Miraculous. Monarch is the SMOOTHEST of all of Gabe's forms as he not only had the GREATEST chance to save Natalie AND Emile, but squandered it on 2 TEENAGERS and their miraculouses and he LOST THE TIME MIRACULOUS; What. An. Idiot. I LOVE that Alix, our current timeline Alix, finally got her Miraculous and keeps it and despite her having to stay in the burrow because Monarch could get it off of her again almost easily and then fix what he messed up in this episode and beyond, she also has to master her powers and be able to use them and NOT make paradoxes and alternate timelines and universes because of 1 bumbling error she made in her training. Besides, she literally has ALL. THE. TIME. IN. THE. MULTIVERSE. She doesn't have to worry too much on missing out on anything since she can return to the timepoint after Monarch loses and relearn things that she missed out on. I was surprised and loved the fact that Natalie is absolutely done with him because he didn't prioritize his wife or her and their health conditions and now, there's a legitimate chance that she can actually die by the end of the season once Gabe loses for real and her death will all be on his hands and she could even betray him and help the Heroes find out his secret identity and be the force that ultimately brings him down. Overall. I love this episode and I consider it my best and favorite episode of ALL Miraculous and I am a bit excited to see what else will happen in this new season.
Natalie only helped him this far because defeating ladybug and cat noir was their only opportunity of reviving emilie and thanks to the events of this episode she realized just how power hungry and insane Gabriel has gotten and that even with an alternative he still chose his obsession with power and his selfishness so that was the last straw that made her leave him
I just dont like how Alix got her miraculous. Future Alix said she became a hero bcs LB realize how awesome she is. But here, its like LB giving Alix a miraculous bcs her future self said so, not bcs she's actually worthy to have one (but then, its not like half of the team even deserve one). Everything happen bcs ghe plot demand so, not bcs it is meant to happen after a build up..smh
Monarch is easily his worst suit lol, also this episode was extremely confusing how come hawkmoth went back in time to the past ladybug but yet ladybug never remembers this happening at all, and why did ladybug and cat noir only take the time miraculous when hawkmoth was down? Why didn't they literally just start taking all of them
I think i get why Gabriel didn't leave the USB-Stick in the past. He is fighting LB and CN for quite some time now, that it kinda became his ''main'' goal, if you know what I mean. He obviously still wants to save Emilie, but being so intent on defeating LB and CN causes him to be unable to think properly at times. He is getting crazy... I hope that makes sense.
I get that he's going crazy...I just don't find it believable that even when crazy...he'd couldn't just drop the USB stick...It was right there. I don't know, I think the writers didn't do him justice this episode at all.
It was said by Master Fu that using too many Miraculous will have devastating effects to a person's physical, and mental health. In other words, Gabe's going coo-coo.
7:00 I think the reason is that the rabbit is still tagged by the dog miraculous which means if they keep the rabbit anywhere but the past Monarch can fetch it. Maybe, its hard to tell. Hell maybe the dog has a sense thing when the second it possible to fetch the rabbit Monarch will be alerted. Point is explain how the miraculous works better in the show. Also 10:00 the reason he takes the risk is because he thought Ladybug was copying his plan and that she was going into the past to surprise attack him. I mean she is standing in prime surprise attack position.
But I mean it’s not like she could do really anything, if he changes the past of before the time Ladybug was in then Ladybug couldn’t do anything since time would just be re-writen
In all honesty, I've never been more mad at Gabriel than this episode, this all started with him trying to save his wife, but each time he's failed to take the miraculous from ladybug and cat noir, he's become obsessed with seeing them defeated. He's lost sight of his true goal all because of how many times he's been thwarted and his egotism can't have him let go of his petty rivalry/archnemesis debacle and get the real job done. Infuriating but truly sad
I can definitely see Gabriel wanting to Claim that Final Victory over the Heroes. Wanting to Finally say “I truly won” before going to undo everything and save his Wife. Yes He could end it all and him never being Hawkmoth but after four Seasons of Defeat and the Power of Almost All of the Miraculous he truly believed he could not lose.
The episode felt underwhelming to me (feels like it should've been longer), but I enjoyed Adrien's larger role and Nathalie's anger--it reminds me of Harley Quinn getting upset with John after Bruce tricks him in the Batman: Telltale series.
i totally agree with eveything. Gabe's obession over ladybug has taken over his reason on why he became a villain in the first place. As for Natalie sorry lady but you're reason for admiring Gabrial is bull. He's hurting people, your close to death and when he could have finally fix it all he follows his obsession instead. If she continues to help him after this well I totally give up on her since all that she said in this episode feels pointless.
yeah i agree idk why ppl shipped them in the first place. they say "he is doing this for his family hes a good father" yeah but he neglects his son and abuses the ppl around him NOT TO MENTION ALL OF PARIS. natalie risked her life for him just for him to fail.
Honestly Gabriel is so smooth he could have just use the butterfly for its intended purpose on day one giving healing powers to one of literally thousands of doctors in Paris /france. or just use the viper with the rabbit on this episode and would have won.
I really hope that Natalie doesn't go back to old man Gabe but she probably will since we know that she helps him with making all the miraculouses into rings
Is it just me or does Alix seem shorter than she normally is? The scenes where Ladybug is giving her the miraculous or when she is standing next to Bunnix she looks small. And don't give me that "Bunnix is adult, that's why she's shorter", the first time we see them side by side, she was around chest height, but at 10:55 she looks like she's at the stomach height compared to Bunnix
This is my favorite episode of Miraculous! 10/10 - I have to admit, I really missed seeing Master Fu opening his Miraculous box and allowing Ladybug to take a Miraculous. And the background music was great too! - The Nino-Alya kiss was also a really cool moment! - The events/plots chosen by going back in time were very well chosen! Hero's Day Animan Backwarder Lady Wifi Reverser Riposte - The way he used the miraculous was also very clever and creative: mirage shell-ter burrow wind Dragon venom fetch - I was really worried that they might not use the Rabbit Miraculous properly. I'm glad I was wrong! - Nathalie was SUPER!!! I wasn't expecting that at all! - The Emilie-Gabriel scene was also MEGA! By the way, this scene supports the Adrien-Sentimonster theory!👀👀 - and FINALLY Alix got the Rabbit Miraculous! About time! - I also loved how LB gave the rabbit Miraculous to CN instead of fusing it herself. This decision by LB made totally sense, especially after Strike Back.👍🏼 - This was by far the best season opener as well!
I had no idea about the leak! That's just awful... I had mixed feelings about this episode too. It could have been better but overall, it was still pretty enjoyable. True, it felt like the writers didn't think about some of these plot points enough. But it was still great to see little Bunnix's debut. Monarch's design is pretty over-the-top but I think it makes sense. On the other hand, Canine Girl(?) and Rabbit Noir's costumes were great imo. I do appreaciate that Ladybug is putting more trust in her partner, and that Cat Noir is more focused. As confusing as the episode was, I liked how they were chasing each other through past episodes. And seeing young Master Fu was cool. As for Gabriel, I can actually forgive his smooth brain-ness. When you said he got worse during the break, you were right, and it'll get worse the more he uses the miraculouses. In fact, it's so bad now that his hatred for the heroes is stronger than his love for his wife. Whose smooth brain-ness I can't understand, however, are the heroes! They had him tied up like three times and just STOOD there! Oh well, I'm still very excited for that this season has in store for us.
This episode takes place directly after Strike Back, and while that's cool it also left me with questions regarding the continuity. 1) Wasn't Emilie's crib damaged? During Risk Gabriel broke the glass and quickly closed the doors while looking very scared. I thought he legit broke the thing and was putting his wife's life in danger by keeping it open, but I guess it didn't have any effect at all. 2) The final scene doesn't make sense from Natalie's pov. If that part with Lila is any indication, then this is supposedly the same scene as in Strike Back where people were saying how weird it was that Lila would laugh about Nathalie nearly falling on the ground. But in Strike Back that happened while Gabriel was on a different phone call with Nathalie as he was just about to trade the Peacock Miraculous with Felix. Here he already is Monarch and it shouldn't be the same phone call. But you're totally right about the Alix part. She is supposed to hide and stay out of Monarch's reach until he gets defeated, to keep the Bunny Miraculous safe. She can be whenever she wants as long as Monarch does not exist. I get that they might want to hide her in case Monarch can pull some tricks from his sleeve, but she can just take one minute to find out when she can go back to her time-line and step right back. I suppose the pressure is because her friends and family will miss her, but if they hear the story they will understand. Good episode I think, but what makes it even better is the fact that it's episode 1. The intensity feels like mid to end season level, so to start the season on that level can only mean that this season is trying to stand out
Have you seen what time travel effects are? She has to age the same amou t as everyone else while staying away from Monarch, so she has to spend some time in other time-space to avoid adverse effects of time travel.
When he was down near the end why in the actual fuck didn't they just grab every miraculous there and then. What were they thinking just standing on top of him watching him lay there
@@Cheetahgirl_Studios i would just grab the dog and bee immediately use the dog not on a miraculous but on Gabe and use it to bring him to me sting him and just win. Plot shit makes this episode drop so many levels for me
The cut had sass being silenced. Then it cut to ladybug saying that they’ll never be silenced by monarch. Also, the dog is still tagged to the yo-yo. At any point he can just get the watch back. If she isn’t in the timeline then it’s practically impossible.
It probably isn’t tagged to the yo-yo since when he used it Ladybug’s Yo-yo wasn’t summoned to him so it’s probably only 1 at a time or when you detransforms the connection is broken. This is further backed up by the fact that Monarch touched the Watch again after he detransformed with the Dog. He is fully aware of the Dog Miraculous’ power so what is the need to touch it again if it doesn’t break when you detransform. And if it doesn’t break after detransforming really is the case then Ladybug can Cat Noir shouldn’t be able to lose their Miraculouses because all they need to do is tag their Miraculous to the dog and leave it somewhere safe away from the others. Then if they lose them and Monarch is about to win they just fetch and they get their Miraculouses back.
I actually really liked it. I mean obviously, it wasn't as good as Sentibubbler but it mostly stands from the fact that Alya had no appearance in the episode (and no, that one second does not count, sorry). I mean it was a decent episode where we saw that Master Fu was right about using too many Miraculouses. I firmly believe that he is descending into madness. If it was Multiverse of madness (which I just now realized it very much resembled) I would be more disappointed but considering it is Miraculous it was nice. I mean it could have been better and they could have spent more time exploring past events (hell this should have been the hundredth episode) it was fairly decent and most of the stuff made sense to me. I for one was hyped that Alix finally got the rabbit. Though I do see your point on her not having to stay away.
I’d say Gabriel’s previous big victory has made him overconfident and reckless. This is why he does such smooth brain things in this episode such as spamming the powers until he collapses. Rather than coming up with a solid plan like he normally would, he just kept sticking with the original.
His plans were never solid he’s an idiot for majority of the show. He’s been outsmarted by teenagers the whole show. I don’t know why he didn’t just use the powers to get the original ladybug and cat noirs miraculous. Power scaling is trash it shouldn’t even take him ten seconds to get their powers with all the miraculous he has
I really hope Nathalie is the first one that Adrien reveals his identity to I can imagine it like Nathalie wants to tell the heroes about Gabriel's secret but colapses, she's almost dead Chat gets really nervous and run to help her She says Gabriel's identity for Chat, he starts to have a panic atack and Nathalie don't understand shit, but then Adrien destransforms and the episode cuts Or Nathalie realizes in that moment that Chat is Adrien because she's like his mom and they have a mom-son moment before he destransforms
That actually would've made a lot of sense but then we would have him becoming the future Blue Phoenix in the future for them to deal with when they're fully-aged adults
I actually really enjoyed ladybugs and cat noirs dynamic as well as a deeper look into Gabe’s character AND Natalie gets a character arc.I think this episode is great, just hope the progress in the characters is gonna continue next episodes, especially with natalie being done w gabes bs and gabe maybe ending up all alone
I liked it I like rabbit noirs out fit especially his chat Blanc bell 🔔 I like Alixs dad knew this whole time even as far back as reverser when he gives her the watch for her birthday I love seeing ladynoir back in action and seeing young master fu
I was pretty sure adults didn't have to give food to their kwamis to charge their powers. Maybe Sass was just trying to buy some time and just lied to Gabe?
Nah they still need food. Future Alix gave Fluff a carrot in "Timetagger." Sass is just one of the few kwamis willing to stand up to Gabe for his cruel treatment of them.
They dont need food if he's just using a miraculous or two because they can absorb Gabe's energy. But in here he used so many miraculous so he weakened and the miraculouses is taking up his energy. Also Alix feed fluff so she can be healthy and energized. Hope it makes sense
@@hmsskkyy_xai nop it doesn't, because the end contradicts your starting point... but who cares, why would we care about continuity on this show, when the own show doesn't care at all?
@@poijnve3912 If you have the energy (when youre an adult), them kwamis dont need physical food since they can "feed" off energy from you. But if you dont have the energy to sustain them, and then they must seek out other food sources- like actual food
Evolution pisses me off so bad. Why didn't they grab the bee miraculous and venom Gabe while he was down? Why didnt they even try to take any of the other miraculous? It's just such a badly written episode that makes the characters look dumb as fuck. The idea was great, it was just executed so badly.
My expectations were low, and from how you described this, they somehow managed to disappoint me nonetheless. I can get the villain having a fatal flaw, that's pretty common but when they have the chance to get literal get everything they want, and CHOOSE not to, you're lost me as that's screams the writer's hand playing God. Even if his goal has switched to besting Ladybug, only a complete moron would fall for such a trap but considering he couldn't best two teens for four seasons...it's disappointedly within character for him to be that moron. If they wanted Gab to lose, why give him so much power? Second chance has been used by the heroes to win when they had right no, so why wouldn't Gab do the same? He had the book on the miraculous before they did, and you would think he would have read up on the other miraculous' after fighting them but apparently not, his brain's as smooth as a porridge at this point. The thing with Alix would have worked, if she was maybe Alya as Alix just doesn't have the screen presence to make it feel worth it. If this is what I should expect from season 5, I can't see myself watching further then the first episode.
this episode was litteraly the best they have ever made imo. it has everything, new hodlers, new transformations, new unifications, and new superhero outfits. plus the reason gabe did that is he is crazy. and the miraculous amplified that. we already knew that too many miraculous makes you go crazy so it makes sense. so hating the episode because it made sense and gave us everything we wanted is just plain stupid. (respectfully)
I advise you not to watch the show anymore. Reading the leaked season 5 Bible made me shocked of how stupid the writing is. It’s not worth it. This show is literally the worst show I have ever watched. The ending to season 5 for me is a huge cap out. I don’t even care anymore. Might as well use my time wisely and go watch something better. People who like Adrien/Cat Noir are going to be so disappointed and literally robbed at the end of this season.
@@brendonslife4584 Could you point me towards the EP where it was explained that wearing too many miraculous drives you crazy. I'm not going to pretend to have seen every EP or remember every scene but I thought that it only exhausted you much like we see it do to Gab. That being said, just giving her new holders and costumes doesn't really make this a good ep, new content doesn't automatically make good content.
@@hidinginhawkmothsbasement1399 SPOILER They make him nothing more than a damsel in distress and give everything to Marinette even his miraculous. She will get both the cat and bug miraculous and unite them to defeat Gabriel by herself. Cat Noir/Adrien doesn’t even get to be part of defeating his father and only Marinette will know the truth about Gabriel while Adrien will stay in dark forever about what he did. It is terrible. This is such disrespect to Adrien’s character. I have never in my life seen such horrible bad writing.
One of the things that I didn’t like how they made Monarch be obsessed with winning against LB & CN. I was honestly rooting for him to put the fixed peacock Miraculous & everything would have changed this season. But nope we have to see every episode of them using the Miraculous on the villains to give them a boost. Honestly wasn’t expecting Natalie to be done with Gabe in the end
A completely random thought I had while watching this episode for the first time, couldn't master fu right after his village was destroyed use the bunny miraculous to go back in time and fix his decision? There's so much miraculous abilities he could have used to fix what he had done.
Based on the opening scenes, I feel like that there may be a panda miraculous which is used by marinette at some point. You know the intro where there's all the class' photos, with little drawings hinting at the miraculous the hold? Well what I saw on marinette reassembled a panda in my mind. And it would fit with the Chinese heirtage miraculous theme thingy. It might not be a panda, but that's just what I see
I don't see that being a possibility. After we all, we know all of the Chinese Miraclous and in the Sheng Hai special, there was a lion kwami but no panda.
Well..... master Fu did mention to Multi Mouse in kwami buster that wearing All the miraculous can make you go insane. And looking at Gabriel being more stupid and smoothbrain than normal and the fact he use almost all of them during the battle in this episode.🤔 Pretty accurate to me 😅🤷🏾
It just occurred to me that Bunnyx shouldn’t have been in the Burrow to help Ladybug and Chat Noir in the first place. Like, Bunnyx’s presence in the future implies that Ladybug and Chat Noir retrieved the Bunny from Monarch, but how did they retrieve the Bunny without Bunnyx to help? It’s a massive paradox. Overall, I think it would’ve made more sense to have Bunnyx grab the Bunny before Gabe had the opportunity to use it. Would’ve made more sense and we could’ve avoided the out-of-character moments and idiotic decisions that this episode graced us with.
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONED HOW THE ALIX SCENE DOESNT REALLY MAKE SENSE I think if they at least treated the scene like “I don’t know how long I may be gone and it can be for a long time for my father to see me again”, but they really acted like she would be gone forever even though, as you said, from her perspective she could just skip time to the moments where she is needed and Hawk moth is defeated. They could spend the big amount of seconds of ladybug, rabbit noir and Monarch being smooth brained and not doing what they’re supposed to do making this scene last a bit longer to make more sense, it would make so many things in the episode feel more organic
I get where your coming from but it may not work like that since we don't know how long it will take for monarch to be deleted it could be like 5 years of a few weeks but if it's like 5 years she can't just show up 5 years later the same age people like her friends and everyone else will be confused and it will be to hard for her to come back. However if its a few weeks no one will care but idk jts just a thought
@@willbyers6204 of course that would be weird, but the way future bunnix acted it looked like she would be gone for a long time when we (viewers) know that really probably won’t happen... also, if I was at her place I would rather let people don’t understand why I look so young than lose 5 years of my life in eternal loneliness (and she would already be missing lol, so I think it’s something big enough to make people get confused) And also even from the characters POV it doesn’t makes sense. Because the only reason why it is dangerous for bunnix to be on earth is that monarch could use Catch to get the clock back. But it’s obvious that he wouldn’t spend a long time with this miraculous on, and even if he did, it would be a really short time because the characters saw that he was getting pain, and they should think that maybe he would have to get back to his civil form because if he didn’t the heroes could try to track people who went missing in Paris. There are many reasons (that the characters themselves could think of) to why monarch wouldn’t be a danger to alix for a long time, even being extra careful. And since probably on the next ep +/- he may start using the rings instead of the miraculous, They could safely presume he lost the Clock catch, and alix would already be able to come back (and so it gets to the point that it wouldn’t be so necessary for bunnix to warn her father about her missing like it’s a big deal since it would last only a few days/weeks) So... if bunnix stays in that place even after they know there’s no more danger with the dog miraculous, for me it simply won’t make sense
they showed us many times in this episode that when someone changes the future, you can go back and just undo it, knowing this gabe could have just given the pen drive to his old self and then go to ladybug's trap afterwards, and time wouldnt pass in there, makes me so mad, HOW COULD HE BE SO STUPID
I think the problem with the usb to fix the Peacock Miraculous is that if young Gabriel uses it, Future Natalie will never make the usb so it becomes a big broken time loop because it needs this timeline for Natalie to make the usb.
A few things went through my head while watching the episode: 1.) I really hoped that the people of Paris would turn on LB and CN. I thought this would be an interesting plot point throughout the season and be a good way to develop character. 2.) I like how Gabriel is devolving. Finally something different is happening with a character! I hope this affects his relationship with Adrien and Adrien actually picks up that something is wrong. 3.) I don’t understand why they brought Alix in. They have been building up this plot point since season 3 and it felt flat and without impact. I thought LB and CN where doing fine and didn’t really need to bring in other help. I’m not sure what to think about this next season. Season 4 left on such a good note and they lost the tension, the emotion, the quality, and the intensity. I wonder where they will take everything.
Why would they turn on Ladybug? You complain that Alix had no place in this episode while also suggesting civilians turn on the heroes that literally KEPT THEIR CITY SAFE.
@@cousinparty7266 I mean, if you think about it, they have a point. Thanks to the heroes, the citizens of Paris are in more danger than they already were, it would make sense for at least a handful of them to be pissed off at the heroes.
@@toastysweaters5692 i can see that but a ton of people dont like cliffhangers to begin with. I've seen lots of people dislike Strikeback for ending on a cliffhanger. If they ended on a bitter note, i think there would be even more criticism than there is now.
@@cousinparty7266 I disagree, I actually think ending on not-so-happy note, would show that writers aren’t afraid to take risks.. And it doesn’t have to be all bitter, it could have been a bitter-sweet ending. Where yes, the citizens of Paris are afraid and angry, but just when Ladybug is giving up, Chat Noir gives her support, showing her that she’s not alone in this, and there is still hope. This would also give way to new story potential, as this would make Chat and Ladybug’s jobs harder, since they not only have Monarch against them, but also the people of Paris.
You know I've noticed something. After lb and cn used their superpowers their time wasn't running out unlike the others episodes. Like they used their superpowers in the begging of the episode and they were transformed until the end, and I think it was more then 5 min. This is so ridiculous and inconsistent that I wanna die
the reason of the whole alix thing is that the timeline itself is,in fact, the multiverse,so the alix that we met isn't the alix of the previous seasons, and ladybug is going to hand her the miraculous permanently so she has to be in the same universe as her, think about it, if alix were to return to her timeline, ladybug would have to manually go there everytime when she needs her . . . . . . side note:bunnix has explained this at the beginning of the episode,so go watch it mate
@@brendonslife4584 however we can agree that the Alix that is currently holding the bunny miraculous is not the one we see in previous seasons, and the multiverse thing I’m still not understand much,so yeah….
I really loved the episode. It was such a change to the usual episode concept. And in the Gabe and Emilie scene I just thought it was a nice date and important because he gave her the miraculous. Maybe it was the night they created Adrien with the miraculous
Whilst it probably won’t happen, it would be funny that if in the final episode Lil Alix just steps out and when asked how it was waiting in the burrow, she goes ‘oh it was like 5 seconds for me’
i actually really liked this episode! i think it was a good start and sets up a lot of expectations for the rest of the season! the only issue for me was them not attempting to grab any other miraculouses while monarch was down. i think that nathalie calling out gabriel was necessary for his development, he might decide to hold himself accountable and be less smooth brained. lasltly, i assumed that it was completely necessary for alix to not be in the timeline because they didn't want to risk monarch getting the chance to get it, especially bc im pretty sure he knows who adult alix is
Gab still has the roster miraculous and the roster miraculous has the power to chose. What ever power he wants so he could use that miraculous to time travel again
This is why time travel is usually avoided unless there are very strict rules behind it. Sass is definitely a more manageable time travel ability due to the fact that he is limited to a 5 minute reset time. If anything, they should have had an ancient, immortal character be the keeper of the time miraculous instead of putting the one miraculous most capable of breaking reality itself in the hands of an inexperienced teenager. This way it’s only partially active on the battlefield, readily available to neither party, and you could have an actual sage like character who can help train future miraculous holders because they’ve actually met and watched all the previous holders.
Honestly i had feeling thought out whole episode everything happens way too quickly and makes little to no sense. This episode makes two massive decisions without any buildup. Gabe starts obsessing over defeating Ladybug more than over saving his wife? It would be nice to actually see him slowly changing in season 4 but nah it just happens in first episode of season 5 presumably off screen and he gets yelled at by Natalie so that's very cool epic gamer moment. Alix agrees to leave her normal everyday life and loving father to become a miraculous holder? Well we were shown older Alix being happy about her "job" and younger one saw some photos of her being happy so it makes perfect sense she agreed- no, no it doesn't she's like 14 that's a child asked to take care of some ancient relict and -as i understand- be forced to stay in different timelines for God knows how long (i mean we know but nobody in show does). I feel like in actually well written show that was planned beforehand we would get some buildup and development but well Miraculous Ladybug is not well written or planned so we're left with at worst badly thought out plot points and at best cope to "well actually it makes prefect sense if you turn around 3 times, clap hands and watch episode backwards in Chinese dub".
They literally had 2 opportunities to take all of Gabriel’s Miraculous’s (still can’t understand why they didn’t) and the whole Alix thing was confusing but I did like Natalie finally growing a brain and the name Rabit Noir made me laugh, but then that was weird because Ladybug always unifies the miraculous’s 6/10
And there are a lot of things that makes no sense. Like when gabe fatch the clock with the ball (and Alex is able to escape) shouldn't the ball shiwtch to the bunnynuoir clock? It's the same clock after all... Then he has the rooster miraculous witch is the most broken one, can't he just choose to bring someone back forme coma? Or to save Natalie or to time travel again? Or to know the secret identities of ladybug? This makes no sense
@@TTWglobal the miraculous is only one... the chatnoir one is only older in the time line but it is the same, that mean that even his got touched by the ball in the past
I'm fairy sure that the Bunny Alix we've known since season 3 is STILL off on her magic adventure. Like- she's been gone the full time. The photos her dad had, of her updating him on her adventure- they were of the older time Alix. Meaning its been like minimum 5 years
Ok so what I got from the Alex thing is that in the start of the ep ladybug said she think she figured out how he got the miraculous. Which means she probably figured out it was felix, and she know that so long as monarch has the dog miraculous that the miracle box is not a safe place to keep the miraculous as she retrieves them and doubly so for the rabbit. So the best way to keep the rabbit safe is to keep it within it's own burrow so no one can touch it.
I liked the episode overall. - I loved the scene with past master Fu. Smart to go back into the past to borrow Miraculous that Gabe had stolen - I love that Nathalie got angry at Gabe. He could've just dropped off the stick first before getting revenge, but I guess it proves that he's truly losing it and cares more about getting revenge on Ladybug then Emily and Nathalie - Where is Gorilla? Wasn't he on the train with Nathalie and Lila? Why is he not helping when Nathalie keeps collapsing?
I think what annoyed me most about this episode is when they had Monarch caught in Ladybug's yoyo or down on the floor and they just...stood there doing nothing. I kept screaming "Cat Noir, smack him with the stick while Ladybug takes all the miraculouses! sMaCk HiM wItH tHe StIcK dAmN iT!!" I think overall it was a good start of the season but like almost everything else in this show the potential was huge and if some stuff would have been done a little bit differently, the episode would have been phenomenal. I swear, I love this show but sometimes it just drives me crazy...it's like my guilty pleasure lol Also Nathalie told Gabriel exactly what needed to be said, I just wish she would have done it sooner. Btw the "spamming miraculouses" part got me laughing so hard idk why Thank you for your time ik this was long
One thing that I'm grateful for, is that at least Chat Noir didn't get a crappy costume when he merged the miraculi. Aspik and Snake-Cat still haunt my dreams.
There probably so many solutions to Ladybug losing the miracles that I’m bothered. Like Bunnix could’ve just opened a portal right when Ladybug was deciding whether or not to give “Adrien“ the miraculous. Then Bunnix could’ve used it herself just real quick and once they defeated , returned about her business. But I’m glad this dragon exists it rlly run
Honestly the Alix thing made sense to me; they can’t return the Bunny Miraculous to their time because Monarch could still use Fetch to get it and also, since Monarch saw Bunnyx unmasked (though I agree Gabe wouldn’t have done anything with that information) so it could be potentially risky for Alix or her family. Keeping her out of the timeline for a bit was the best outcome, really. Plus it also prevents the use of further time travel since neither of the Bunnyx versions are in the timeline right now
Gabriel has to be the stupidest villain I've ever seen. Like he could have easily dropped those instructions and then follow ladybug or just completely ignore the obvious trap. And Ladybug and Chat Noir spending so much time to take the rabbit like at that point the could have taken back at least 3-4 miraculous if they were fast but nooo. Also does Alix's dad just know everything that's gonna happen cause Alix told him??
This solidifies to me that the writer’s don’t understand time travel, nor its possibilities. Why not go back in time to when Ladybug gave Felix the dog, and just tell her “Don’t, that’s not Adrien.” Then unify the dog with the time parallel Ladybug, and beat Hawky like usual? But I guess that would undo literally everything that happened last season finale, so…
(Warning, LONG rant incoming, I've been needing to get this off my chest for days) This episode honestly made me so angry mostly because of Gabriel. Like, he's never been the smartest fellow out there (no one in their right mind would believe that akumatizing Mr Pigeon 72 times would lead him to victory), but this has got to be the stuppidest we've EVER seen him. I wasn't able to take him seriously for even a second. I mean, how am I suppossed to, when in the *first* episode of the season, when he is allegedly at "his most powerful he's ever been", he immediately starts acting like a maniatic child with a sugar rush and gets not just beaten, but HUMILLIATED by the two tweens he's been fighting against over some jewelry for over a year now? I get that these people are pretty much being forced to keep writing more and more episodes at this point, but can we at least try and give our "Big Bad Villain™" some dignity? He just ended up looking like such a moron. And none of it feels justified by the "OH he's blinded by his grief" bs they're trying so hard to sell us. I've seen villains in ALL sorts of media that have lost much more than Gabriel, and they still take 2 seconds off their time to think of a plan that at the very least makes it challenging for the heroes to defeat them (I don't care how hard they're trying to tell us that it was difficult. If LB and Chat would've used their brain and took off at least *some* the Miraculouses when he passed out, they would've won, but y'know, plot-induced stupidity goes both sides I guess). Oh and don't even get me STARTED on all the contradictions that were in the episode (Chat Noir being able to break the Turtle's shield with his staff but then he claims that he cannot do it without Cataclysm; the fact that the writers can't freaking settle on one time travel theory and therefore just use whichever one is most convenient for the specific scene, even if the previous one showed it working in a completely different way; the absolute confusing messy scene where they were at least *three* Bunny Miraculous exciting simultaneously if not more, etc.) The fact that they still want us to believe that Gabriel has been working on "a massive chessboard" or whatever metaphor you wanna use for "He is Pure Evil Genius" is frankly both laughable and insulting at this point. This show seriously treats its audience like idiots, and the fact that it's a "KiDs sHoW" does not justify this at all. There are countless other shows aimed at young audiences or suitable for them that are miles smarter than what this show has become. Back in 2016 when I discovered Miraculous, it became my favorite thing ever, which is why it makes me so sad to see what it's become. I know for a fact that a lot of people are still enjoying it, and I'm happy for them, but for me it's over. This is where I get off. I've been increasingly frustrated at the questionable writing choices that the show has made for quite a while now, but at this point I'm tired of being so repeatedly disappointed by each new episode that comes out. I might tune in again if it starts to get better after Thomas Astruc's departure, but for now, I think I'll stick to ocassionally watching episode reviews just to shake my head at how bad it keeps getting, but without having to experience it myself.
Like it ould have been far better to have LB and CN to stop him from saving her, an that making him really unhinged. Th sho missed so many pretty obvious chances to actually justify him going mad. And being actually tragic. And CN actually starting questioning why the hell he would go to his parents. Tim travel episodes have weight an are perfect for emotional exploring. Missed opportunities. Hell even lois lane in the time tavel epiode on lois and crark figured that out, and he is mis cartoonish obvious.
I think that cat-noir-using-the-bunny-miraculous costume looks awesome, but come onnnn why did they call him rabbit noir?! Why not bunnynoir?that sounds way better
It was good, okaish ig; Also Alix needs to stay away from the present so that gabe cant fetch the miraculous, thats why alix can stay in the burrow, in a bit past and in future;for past , alix can stay say just 2 yrs before present timeline... Also one thing they ,lb and cn could have easily taken all his miraculuses when he was tired and exhausted in nazi France
I'm pretty sure the reason Alix has to wait it out instead of traveling to the point Monarch is defeated is so that she isn't months/weeks younger than she should be when she returns
that actually makes sense. Imagine if she reappears as a teenager while everyone else is years older. Even if its a year or two that's still worrisome.
I was also upset that Ladybug and Rabbit noir had the perfect opportunity to take back the miraculouses, but no the writers said “F##k That” and Monarch makes his escape
I actually like hawkmoths new suit, he looks corrupted and it’s more warrior-esque showing he’s gonna be fighting in person more rather then his calculated behind the shadows suit, it shows that’s hes growing further down the path of no return
While I don't 100% disagree that Gabriel isn't always the sharpest tool, there is a good reason for it. Gabriel is a man who is so deeply distorted in both mind and heart, that he forsakes all thought and lets emotion, obsession, and desire rule everything. Instead of looking for solutions, he focuses entirely on the path he set himself on - trying to steal the Miraculous using his akumatized helpers. He doesn't think about what he's doing and just tries to do the same thing over and over again hoping to succeed. In other words, Gabriel's insane.
8:00 the explanation given is that the rabbit was tagged by the dog and can then retrieve it from anywhere but in the season 4 finally it says that it loses the tag as soon as the holder detransforms so yeah they either forgot the way the dog works or chose to ignore it
He honestly coulda had his cake and ate it too if he just chucked the drive into the basket and then "fell for the trap". That's what I woulda done. Like...nothing was stopping him from doing both. _NOTHING!_
6:17 at this moment I feel like Ladybug should’ve taken all the miraculous and then after a long time, once monarch is defeated, give them back 1 seconds later to Fu.
When Gabe collapsed they had THE PERFECT OPPERTUNITY TO GRAB ATLEAST 2-3 MIRACULOUS. For story's sake they can't take all of them but why not take say, The monkey. Power disruption could be really useful on someone who spams powers. Or the bee, make sure he can't move then disarm him. Or the freakin snake, one of the most OP. Keep resetting until you get all the miraculous back. But no. For plot's sake all of these characters are so incredibly smooth brained, that the *simplest* most *basic* common sense is overriden or just flat out ignored for the sake of extending the story.
After this and many other things, I really can’t take Gabriel as a villain especially with doing this for 5 seasons. If this is supposed to be the last season with him as the antagonist, who exactly are they going to go with for the next two?
If h wants to vilinaize chloe, she would b great with all th time thoma pent antagonizing he and it even being bette written somehow. Would be at least cool seeing her overthro shadowmoth and take that credit. But he didnt plan her a actual main villain so, probavly not happening. And ilike chloe too and hoped for redemtion, but not happening so, make ther th oficial main villain please?!
I absolutely loved how Sass so matter of factly told him that they need to eat. I totally expected Noroo(yeah idk how to spell that) to pipe up and say "Actually, as shocking as it may sound, I haven't eaten in over a year🥲"
they are not supposed to no longer need to eat when the carrier is an adult
@@maryaherrera8890 Bunnix also feeds fluff so I think it just keeps them energetic and healthy but you r right it’s not needed
I think maybe he feed nooroo but he just doesn't know that fact that it also energises them because most of the time he uses his power once a time so maybe he didn't realised it till now that feeding them is important
Sass was kinda 'sassy' in this episode 😅
@@somting1329 meh, its just another plot hole. The show's power system is literally swiss cheese right now
I think it makes sense that Gabe didn't leave the USB-Stick there.
Well said
It is very stupid of him still, but you have a good point. Once again, love Dussu(my favorite kwami)
I agree, it makes sense for Gabriel. I think season 1 Gabe would have done it, but this Gabe just wants to get back at the heroes no matter what. Plus he's loosing his mind from wearing all the miraculouses.
I want to say no but at this point this is all the writers have conveyed.
Though I feel like emily will be saved in the future, either by marinette who will be the only one to know his identity, or Felix who will turn her against gabriel.
i want to believe thats the reason but it dosent seem like its stated that would happen. iirc when ladybug meets fu he dosent say anything like that. but that still wouldnt explain why hes so smooth brained before this
But Fabrwas already smooth brained before using multiple miraculous sp it only made his smooth brain ecen worse😭😭😭
But how did marinette used all the miraculous in kwami buster and nothing happened to her?
I know it's an unpopular opinion but I actually like monarch's suit, purple skin and all because I see the purple skin as a representation of how he has lost all of his hummanity.
I agree exactly! I like it
His chest has the butterfly window from the pv, his skin and eyes are purple like the peacock miraculous, showing how they’re combining with him more. Gabriel is going to lose it before LB and CN can defeat him.
Like that perspective
I think it is his best one. Makes it believable that he is a fashion designer.
I also agree, but I would only change his hair to black. White is clashing too much.
But... Mayura also had purple skin..
I love how they keep saying how powerful and dangerous the rabbit miraculous is when the two main ones are canonically more powerful. Sure, creation and destruction combined can change reality, but the rabbit alone has time, which is already op as is. This show definitely has a power scaling problem.
They should have said that those three are the most powerful. With rabbit being first among equals
space/time versus creation/destruction... nah man thats too much
this makes no sense you literally just agree with the show. the cat and ladybug miraculous alone aren't that great. (minus the fact that you an create new powers with the ladybug miraculous) and the bunny is 3rd most powerful. (also rooster isn't that overpowered as it has the same limitations as the butterfly. no bringing someone back to life and making wishes and stuff like that)
@@brendonslife4584 May I ask which part of my comment is confusing?
I think what the show meant is that the Ladybug and Cat miraculous are more important, but you know, this could just be another writing inconsistency.
That's a really good explanation
Really, I thought it was broken when he de transforms
Oh yeah, that makes sense
I always thought it was broken when you D transform
If he were to use it on another miraculous would the tie with the Bunny be removed
This episode was good. But it did irritate me how ladybug could have grabbed some miraculous when monarch was passed out or even down or tied up. Like they had the opportunities!!
That’s what I was thinking when I watched it (just now lolll)
I guess if the villains in this series are too slow to grab the miraculous at first opportunities then the heroes should be as well sometimes. Still, it was a super annoying scene.
they got the bunny and were planning to do that, but he touched it with the ball.
@@brendonslife4584 they stopping after the bunny and started talking. They should have grabbed more. The bee, the fox she she could get Rena back and just as many as possible. She had all the chances

He dropped the flash drive on the blanket like he was supposed to, but nothing changes.
That is perfect
6:06
Yeah actually he had never fed Norou.
When you're an adult kawmis can use the energy of you instead of actual food( Thomas said that himself)
But in this episode because he was using all the other miraculouses, he began to be weakened, fainted and passed out.
But like if it is only 1 or 2 miraculous, it wouldn't be a problem if he doesn't feed them.
still hasn't fed him
@@SarahTetris yeah well he's a villain and so cruel, I haven't felt any sympathy for him since Chat blanc.

Yup. Gabriel may have had the energy to support a miraculous or two, but he had nowhere near enough for seven.
I seriously hope that Nathalie doesn't go back to helping gabriel again, the moment I saw her finally taking a stand against all his smooth-brain actions was just so satisfying to watching even though I feel like she had to go through all of this to understand that
Ikr! That's y at the end of the Multiplication trailer, when a woman says "the prototype worked Gabriel", I'm hoping it's Tomo and not Nathalie
@@ShavayD yess me too
I thought this was a joke.
And my guess is Bunnyx will be needed for a battle so has to time travel to said battle which would mean no Alix for a bit but it's just my thoughts
Also Nathalie creaming Gabe was awesome he deserved it. Hoping this means Nathalie can be her own villian for some time (with maybe Lila's help I'm not sure)
She was acting as a villain only to help Gabriel. If Natalie leaves Gab there would be no need for her to be villain.
I think perhaps she should just find a better job
@♡ 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐟𝐢𝐫𝐞 𝐤𝐨𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐝’𝐫 ♡ I don't think they are just could be what Alix is worried about
"Nathalie creaming Gabe"
That part was incredibly satisfying.
Honestly I liked that cat noir got the rabbit miraculous. The reason being that it shows growth on ladybugs part and honestly time travel takes precision, much like a certain destructive cat miraculous.
Exactly. About time she stops being such a controlling jerk and actually trust her partner. Now that I think about it, it makes sense for him.
@@IsmaelCiulla yeah. She’s not trusting her partner for real. Just what she saw.

Overall. I love this episode and I consider it my best and favorite episode of ALL Miraculous and I am a bit excited to see what else will happen in this new season.
yeah you explained the alix part perfectly! i had no idea what was even going on with that part so thanks! :D
Is the tie only between Gabriel and miraculous as well as the object or can anyone using the dog retrieve the rabbit if it comes back into the Present
Yeah. Like Natile said.
It was said by Master Fu that using too many Miraculous will have devastating effects to a person's physical, and mental health. In other words, Gabe's going coo-coo.
@@ElusiveMoth5 True! He is an adult, but even he couldn’t handle that amount of power, which is why he made those rings…, that was clever…
I guess he panicked thought his plan was being copied and forgot to use the snake
If he had he could take the risk of stopping her without the actual risk
But I mean it’s not like she could do really anything, if he changes the past of before the time Ladybug was in then Ladybug couldn’t do anything since time would just be re-writen
@@johay899 Also Why did Her does not Copy His Plan? She Could just Jump Back and stop him from stealing the miraculous.
Ooh, love Batman Tellatale/ Enemy Within!
Yoooooo Batman reference! Love it
its just the first episode not the finale. there is no reason for it to be long
@@brendonslife4584 uhh yeah it's the FIRST episode. Those are just as much of a big deal as the finale
@@sola_a it's called finale for a reason not the "last episode" so with that logic why should the first episode be long?
i totally agree with eveything.
Honestly
Gabriel is so smooth
he could have just use the butterfly for its intended purpose on day one
giving healing powers to one of literally thousands of doctors in Paris /france.
or just use the viper with the rabbit on this episode and would have won.
Is Natalie gaslighted by him or 😭😭😪
I really hope that Natalie doesn't go back to old man Gabe but she probably will since we know that she helps him with making all the miraculouses into rings
Alix’s Dog miraculous outfit was so cute though, that beret fits her a lot more than I thought
I hate the beret and I agree, it suits her better than Sabrina
Is it just me or does Alix seem shorter than she normally is? The scenes where Ladybug is giving her the miraculous or when she is standing next to Bunnix she looks small. And don't give me that "Bunnix is adult, that's why she's shorter", the first time we see them side by side, she was around chest height, but at 10:55 she looks like she's at the stomach height compared to Bunnix
It may just be the perspective of the camera.
Alix looked like a child on this episode

This is my favorite episode of Miraculous! 10/10
- I have to admit, I really missed seeing Master Fu opening his Miraculous box and allowing Ladybug to take a Miraculous. And the background music was great too!
- The Nino-Alya kiss was also a really cool moment!
- The events/plots chosen by going back in time were very well chosen!
Hero's Day
Animan
Backwarder
Lady Wifi
Reverser
Riposte
- The way he used the miraculous was also very clever and creative:
mirage
shell-ter
burrow
wind Dragon
venom
fetch
- I was really worried that they might not use the Rabbit Miraculous properly. I'm glad I was wrong!
- Nathalie was SUPER!!! I wasn't expecting that at all!
- The Emilie-Gabriel scene was also MEGA! By the way, this scene supports the Adrien-Sentimonster theory!👀👀
- and FINALLY Alix got the Rabbit Miraculous! About time!
- I also loved how LB gave the rabbit Miraculous to CN instead of fusing it herself. This decision by LB made totally sense, especially after Strike Back.👍🏼
- This was by far the best season opener as well!
I don't think only one emily-gabriel scene is enough to support the senti-monster theory.
@@Urmum_i_did there are way more things to support it. this is just one of them.
the entire episode does. since we "found out" Emelie used the peacock (i used quotation marks as most of us already know) so yeah its official
Emphasis on the sentimonsters thing
This is definitely my favorite as well
I had no idea about the leak!

To be perfectly honest, I would’ve yoinked the Bee Miraculous from him, sting him, then grab the other Miraculi while he was paralysed. Game over.

@@Cheetahgirl_Studios i would just grab the dog and bee immediately use the dog not on a miraculous but on Gabe and use it to bring him to me sting him and just win. Plot shit makes this episode drop so many levels for me
EXACTLY
You have a really good point on Alex leaving her father.. I was literally telling my friend why would she leave when monarch doesn't know her..
The cut had sass being silenced. Then it cut to ladybug saying that they’ll never be silenced by monarch.
Also, the dog is still tagged to the yo-yo. At any point he can just get the watch back. If she isn’t in the timeline then it’s practically impossible.
I think he got the intention of the cut, but it just didn't feel nice at all.
Power scaling is trash it shouldn’t even take him ten seconds to get their powers with all the miraculous he has
I really hope Nathalie is the first one that Adrien reveals his identity to
I can imagine it like
Nathalie wants to tell the heroes about Gabriel's secret but colapses, she's almost dead
Chat gets really nervous and run to help her
She says Gabriel's identity for Chat, he starts to have a panic atack and Nathalie don't understand shit, but then Adrien destransforms and the episode cuts
Or Nathalie realizes in that moment that Chat is Adrien because she's like his mom and they have a mom-son moment before he destransforms
Oh my god this is the best ending/ reveal I LOVE IT !!!!!!!
Can't they just travel back in time to when Ladybug was gonna give Felix the miraculous and prevent it?
That actually would've made a lot of sense but then we would have him becoming the future Blue Phoenix in the future for them to deal with when they're fully-aged adults

I was pretty sure adults didn't have to give food to their kwamis to charge their powers. Maybe Sass was just trying to buy some time and just lied to Gabe?
Nah they still need food. Future Alix gave Fluff a carrot in "Timetagger."
Sass is just one of the few kwamis willing to stand up to Gabe for his cruel treatment of them.
They dont need food if he's just using a miraculous or two because they can absorb Gabe's energy. But in here he used so many miraculous so he weakened and the miraculouses is taking up his energy. Also Alix feed fluff so she can be healthy and energized.
Hope it makes sense

Evolution pisses me off so bad. Why didn't they grab the bee miraculous and venom Gabe while he was down? Why didnt they even try to take any of the other miraculous? It's just such a badly written episode that makes the characters look dumb as fuck. The idea was great, it was just executed so badly.
nothing was more satisfying than hearing nathalie rip into gabriel and call him insane😭😭
He was obsessed with using the wish when ladybug and cat is combined
...yeah, that's kinda the point.
I’m pretty sure that’s the mouse miraculous
thats the mouse miraculous not a panda
Oops. Thanks for the clarification anyways
Well..... master Fu did mention to Multi Mouse in kwami buster that wearing All the miraculous can make you go insane.
And looking at Gabriel being more stupid and smoothbrain than normal
and the fact he use almost all of them during the battle in this episode.🤔

But how did marinette use all the miraculous in kwami buster and nothing happened to her🤔

FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE MENTIONED HOW THE ALIX SCENE DOESNT REALLY MAKE SENSE
I think if they at least treated the scene like “I don’t know how long I may be gone and it can be for a long time for my father to see me again”, but they really acted like she would be gone forever even though, as you said, from her perspective she could just skip time to the moments where she is needed and Hawk moth is defeated.
@@willbyers6204 of course that would be weird, but the way future bunnix acted it looked like she would be gone for a long time when we (viewers) know that really probably won’t happen... also, if I was at her place I would rather let people don’t understand why I look so young than lose 5 years of my life in eternal loneliness (and she would already be missing lol, so I think it’s something big enough to make people get confused)
And also even from the characters POV it doesn’t makes sense. And since probably on the next ep +/- he may start using the rings instead of the miraculous, They could safely presume he lost the Clock catch, and alix would already be able to come back (and so it gets to the point that it wouldn’t be so necessary for bunnix to warn her father about her missing like it’s a big deal since it would last only a few days/weeks)
So... if bunnix stays in that place even after they know there’s no more danger with the dog miraculous, for me it simply won’t make sense
I'm happy the realized they've been giving Chat Noir something to do.
they showed us many times in this episode that when someone changes the future, you can go back and just undo it, knowing this gabe could have just given the pen drive to his old self and then go to ladybug's trap afterwards, and time wouldnt pass in there, makes me so mad, HOW COULD HE BE SO STUPID
I think the problem with the usb to fix the Peacock Miraculous is that if young Gabriel uses it, Future Natalie will never make the usb so it becomes a big broken time loop because it needs this timeline for Natalie to make the usb.
Grandfather Paradox in a nutshell.
Nothing will happen the pen drive was brought back to time so it's like cutted moved to that time.
A few things went through my head while watching the episode:
1.) I really hoped that the people of Paris would turn on LB and CN.
I wonder where they will take everything.
the need alix because they need to keep the rabbit miraculous out of the current timeline

This is so ridiculous and inconsistent that I wanna die
the reason of the whole alix thing is that the timeline itself is,in fact, the multiverse,so the alix that we met isn't the alix of the previous seasons, and ladybug is going to hand her the miraculous permanently so she has to be in the same universe as her,
think about it, if alix were to return to her timeline, ladybug would have to manually go there everytime when she needs her

4:00 if the Rooster can create any Superpower, and hes interested in using the Rabbit, why doesnt he just save his Wife, or revives her?
Look at him and tell me hes sane enough to think of that
This is why time travel is usually avoided unless there are very strict rules behind it.
Cat noir is a different clock as it is from future bunny and dog miraculous only work on present timeline

Meaning its been like minimum 5 years
i just assumed that alix goes off on adventures whenever she wants
Im here thinking 5 years?? What about alix's education 😂😂😂😂
Smart to go back into the past to borrow Miraculous that Gabe had stolen
- I love that Nathalie got angry at Gabe. He could've just dropped off the stick first before getting revenge, but I guess it proves that he's truly losing it and cares more about getting revenge on Ladybug then Emily and Nathalie
- Where is Gorilla? Wasn't he on the train with Nathalie and Lila? Why is he not helping when Nathalie keeps collapsing?
We gotta admit though the cat noir costume when merged with the bunny miraculous looks really good
I think what annoyed me most about this episode is when they had Monarch caught in Ladybug's yoyo or down on the floor and they just...stood there doing nothing. I kept screaming "Cat Noir, smack him with the stick while Ladybug takes all the miraculouses! sMaCk HiM wItH tHe StIcK dAmN iT!!"
I think overall it was a good start of the season but like almost everything else in this show the potential was huge and if some stuff would have been done a little bit differently, the episode would have been phenomenal. I swear, I love this show but sometimes it just drives me crazy...it's like my guilty pleasure lol
Also Nathalie told Gabriel exactly what needed to be said, I just wish she would have done it sooner.
Btw the "spamming miraculouses" part got me laughing so hard idk why
Thank you for your time ik this was long
Master Fu once warned Marinette that wearing too many Miraculous could make their user lose their mind. I kinda expected Gabriel's stupidity.
Plus it also prevents the use of further time travel since neither of the Bunnyx versions are in the timeline right now
I just realized that Cat Noir used his power and didn't refuel plagg and now i'm confused
9:39 Since Adrien is now a sentimonster I guess that is what happened
This solidifies to me that the writer’s don’t understand time travel, nor its possibilities. Why not go back in time to when Ladybug gave Felix the dog, and just tell her “Don’t, that’s not Adrien.” Then unify the dog with the time parallel Ladybug, and beat Hawky like usual? But I guess that would undo literally everything that happened last season finale, so…
(Warning, LONG rant incoming, I've been needing to get this off my chest for days)
This episode honestly made me so angry mostly because of Gabriel.
Oh and don't even get me STARTED on all the contradictions that were in the episode (Chat Noir being able to break the Turtle's shield with his staff but then he claims that he cannot do it without Cataclysm; the fact that the writers can't freaking settle on one time travel theory and therefore just use whichever one is most convenient for the specific scene, even if the previous one showed it working in a completely different way; the absolute confusing messy scene where they were at least *three* Bunny Miraculous exciting simultaneously if not more, etc.)
The fact that they still want us to believe that Gabriel has been working on "a massive chessboard" or whatever metaphor you wanna use for "He is Pure Evil Genius" is frankly both laughable and insulting at this point.
Firstly that is a long rant (don't worry I read everything)
Secondly, I wouldve done better with 5 days of no sleep
I'd just call Rabbit noir, cat rabbit, a play on words for Jack rabbit
This has be one of the best and good way to start everything
Rude! Rabbit Noir deserves respect! Especially after season 4 treated him like shit!
Since I no longer find motivation to watch new episodes, I love that you recap episodes and review them
Maybe this will teach Gabriel a lesson about respecting Nathalie more as this is probably the first ever step for both character's redemption arcs
She needs to stay away because in theory shadowmoth could always use the dog miraculous to get the rabbit back if they were in the same time period
Nah but like monarch looks like an actual bug-
I'm pretty sure the reason Alix has to wait it out instead of traveling to the point Monarch is defeated is so that she isn't months/weeks younger than she should be when she returns
that actually makes sense. Imagine if she reappears as a teenager while everyone else is years older. Even if its a year or two that's still worrisome.
3:35 Bro what was the sound you made 💀
He really just had to moan
8:00 the explanation given is that the rabbit was tagged by the dog and can then retrieve it from anywhere but in the season 4 finally it says that it loses the tag as soon as the holder detransforms so yeah they either forgot the way the dog works or chose to ignore it
Rabbit Noir? Surprised they didn't call him Jack Noir.
Guys this is bad! Car noir hasn’t made a single pun since risk!
It’s ironic that Adrien’s a sentimoster that’s allergic to feathers
The thing is that Gabe didn't just have 1 time related miraculous but 2. He didn't use snake miraculous! Not even once!🤦🏻♀️
A child would be a better villain than Gabe
He honestly coulda had his cake and ate it too if he just chucked the drive into the basket and then "fell for the trap". That's what I woulda done. Like...nothing was stopping him from doing both. _NOTHING!_
6:17 at this moment I feel like Ladybug should’ve taken all the miraculous and then after a long time, once monarch is defeated, give them back 1 seconds later to Fu.
My favorite scene was when Natalie gave up on him 😂
When Gabe collapsed they had THE PERFECT OPPERTUNITY TO GRAB ATLEAST 2-3 MIRACULOUS.
Felix and Lila?
Which.....I wouldn't like, tbh.
I mean......Lila? Really?!?
If h wants to vilinaize chloe, she would b great with all th time thoma pent antagonizing he and it even being bette written somehow.
Would be at least cool seeing her overthro shadowmoth and take that credit.
But he didnt plan her a actual main villain so, probavly not happening.
And ilike chloe too and hoped for redemtion, but not happening so, make ther th oficial main villain please?!
Well thanks to the power of the bibel we know
