It's also worth remembering that you can often be mistaken about your purpose because you surround yourself with negative influences. Especially if you're gen z or alpha.
That makes things even harder in this area imo.
You need to fully disconnect from social media, have real experiences, and reflect deeply.
In the social media world, it seems the only way to mean anything or be anyone is to be rich and famous. But in the real world, you learn that being a simple, kind, helpful, joyful person is what gives you GENUINE love from others.

Reading does not make you intelligent or smart. It makes you knowledgeable. Intelligence is determined from anywhere between 40 to 60% by genetics. You can't change your genes. There is a limit about how smart a person can make themselves. One of the best things a person can do is identify some successful people (morally and economically), read about their lives and habits, and try to emulate them.

Honestly no matter how many types of these videos I watch I genuinely just feel like it will always be too late for me, like I missed the boat on doing something I cared about with my life and now it's all floating on the surface until the eventual dropoff. I know that mindset is poison and more likely than not flatly untrue, but I don't have the confidence in myself or my abilities to believe I could get anywhere anymore. I'm gonna keep trying, though.

I honestly didn't expect you to be here! You may not believe it, but back in 2019, I was stuck at an awful place and time where things just haven't up as much as it goes down.. but one of my friends linked me a video of yours titled 'NEET's Ballad'.
At first, as much as I'd like to treat it as satire neck-beard humor, I've grown somewhat attach due to the emotions you put into the song. It didn't inspire me as a sense to accept myself just yet, but I was still hooked onto it because the lyrics spoke to me. It wasn't until 2020 came around when rhe Covid Lockdown happened.. is where I've actually realized how well it clicks with me and my friends. I don't typically go out-doors often, yet it hurts my heart when I see others unable to go out to reconnect with friends and families. Myself included once in a while.
This may just sound like me pointlessly stretching a random song to have meaning in my life, but it's because that I was a NEET.. is why I'm able to sympathize and help those in lockdown feel better about their situations. It encourages me to teach some of my peers how to host large scaling group calls to host family reunions. And in turn, without realizing it, once in a while, I'd get invited to join those calls just because I was indirectly responsible for making it happen. Nowadays, I'm still anti-social, but it's more tamer now, cause I prefer to be reserved and need some time alone to charge my social batteries before attending to large scale social gatherings. So from the bottom of my heart, indirectly or not, thank you for never truly stopping to try and express yourself. Even in a sngle song uploaded on youtube, haha!

most college educations are actually pretty useless besides obvious ones like medicine ofc but if you really want to go to college, going in debt is a path that works for some people but be very careful. this is not financial advice

i don't understand what you mean by the button analogy. i think if you press the first one, you are not dying for your purpose, you are just dying. but if you press the second one you are willing to sacrifice everything in order to get the chance at dying for your purpose

The problem is that I don't have any purpose; I am just doing what comes next. It feels like I am walking on an unknown road moving forward because there's a road and an only option but I don't know where I want to reach, It feels like I will just walk straight not knowing when to take a turn and one day I'll be dead not knowing what I wanted to achieve and was not special at all

5:10 people that just give up on life: That's an easy choice... first button. So this is 50/50.. maybe people chose second either cuz they scared to die or cuz they enjoy life and want to live longer.

life just feels empty, I have no reason to live, I'm not special, I'm just another npc in this purposeless world, I could be easily replaced for some random dude and no one would notice. Why should I even try to be successful at all? I'm one, the world has billions, the difference I make in it is 0, so there is no reason i was born, no reason to live, no purpose.

The people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do. There are countless cases where this is the case. Do you think Steve Jobs or Einstein were somehow completely different from you?
Deciding to give up because it doesn't matter is not more rational than deciding to try.
The odds of being born are infinitely small since according to the butterfly effect, every action before your birth was necessary for you to be born.
Please join the discord, I would like to personally talk to you and convince you. I promise I can.

Great video and great advice. The fact that this came to me asi finished studying and was abt to sleep. I think am human by nature! I do nearly all of that but reading abt how money works. Ik abt history of humanity since Adam and Eve instead and like to watch lots of politics. I tried making some good habits starting with atomic habits to then being full ones still got a long way. I think am early am 14. Got years ahead of me..... I dont try to knwo abt the stuff my friends do tho... Bcs idc abt them rn. Maybe later when i get to college and find time maybe...abt the summary you are right but reading a book has many health benefits so its better to read a book than just watching a summary. If you really need the knowledge fast tho, go for it and watch a 30 mins video. The step abt self hygiene tho am working on it 😅. I wanna say more but i would be flexing and repeating myself so i will stop here.
I wasnt trying to brag. If you look at it positivly this assures you that this guy is telling the truth and that it actually worked for another human which makes it viable for you. No one is perfect but you can try.
