careful with that tq 350s wtq is safe on a stock motor you start going over you are gonna join the subie rebuild club

That torque figure will make your rods go bye bye. 400hp is easy to make on the FA20 and 330-360 torque. E60 tune is the only way to go
How did the car hold up?
Doesn't look like the tuner has tuned very many FA's thats a very reckless torque figure.

Sick video man. I am excited for you. I am currently running MAPerformance Stage 2 and am loving it. Considering getting the rest of the bolt ons(tgv/egr/TMIC/ebcs) before getting it pro tuned. I just don't have a lot of e85 in my area.

You have a high chance of bending your rods with that torque. You should’ve tuned with Ron Watson he would’ve got you to 350 tq and close to 400 hp
Would have to agree with you there. Ron, Mikey, Bren just to name a few are experience tuners for these cars. These cars are finicky and you need a tuner that knows their limits and the best curves to make reliable power and each of those guys have probably easily tuned over 1000 FA20 WRX's each. I'm personally tuned by Ron Watson myself.
Ron actually pushes these cars over 400 whp on a stock block stock turbo what are you talking about? If u follow his ig u would see the numbers..
@@GizmoFts He does, but not every FF tune gets 400+. AWDSLUG was mainly saying the Ron would have lowered the torque to a safer level and possibly given him a more hp.

yep be careful if its the FA engine. my buddy just threw a rod with the same mods. FA engines are known for this. but i bet the car feels amazing now

Why so much TQ? That thing is either gonna bend a rod or spin a bearning. Also why only E45. Most experienced tuners will tune it for E50-60. Good luck bro.
Everyone needs to stop tellin this man how to live. If you like the tune, and you ain't scared... freakin send it dude. If it breaks it breaks, no one runs 400hp on a wrx for reliability....not comin out of my pocket. Lol more power!

Should have gone to Ron Watson over at Phatbotti tuning! He knows FA20’s very well. Torque should have stopped at 350 on stock block. He could have squeezed out more HP also. Just becareful on your pulls...hope you don’t meet Uncle RODney!
Who's that tuner? Never heard of him until now so that's a bad sign already. You should gotten tuned by the one of the 4 gods of the FA.

Nice numbers. That's around what mine is at on e85 and I've been running it like that for 3 years now. no issues. On e45 i assume your probably more in the 360 range. I was some of the first 2015 WRX's to be running e85 and then Flexfuel with Clark Turner. If your taking good care of your engine. Good oil(change more often on Ethanol) and Lucas ethanol fuel additives. Waiting for your engine to heat up and not doing high gear low RPM pulls you should be fine. I rarely hear about FA20DIT blowing unless they are over 400wtq and they are getting abused.

He’s running a bled and that’s smart to play it safe so those number will drop some. It’s not like it’s going to be 380+ torque all the time. That’s only on pure e85 if you guys were listening.
Yes, as most tuners will start with e85 or e98 and then tune for 91 or 93 and then the flex fuel will adjust in-between
Incorrect. The cars was tuned in the 45-50 range.. They don't tune them at 85 and then tell you to run a completely different blend.. my car is tuned for 55-75 and the power is pretty much the exact same in that range. You have to blend with these cars due to the cam driven fuel pump. He will have those claimed numbers from 45-50
@@mikejmahon28 I don't think you listened to the video or looked at the Dyno. He was tuned at e85, They told him to run 45% range. Cobb software will adjust the fuel, timing and boost depending on the number in between the high ethanol and low ethanol. It's always between the two. It will make less power on anything less than e85 as it only lowers the timing and boost. The high pressure pump can have issue at higher ethanol than 45-54 range. which is why they recommended less. The ethanol percentage number they tune at is the max power it will make and also the max ethanol you can run safely(there is some workarounds though). You can read through the cobb flex fuel documentation if you like. My car was tuned at e98 and 91, then they gave me the dyno numbers it at e85 as well, as you cant really buy e98 easily. It all depends on your tuner, if its tuned at e54, you wont make more power on e85 and you shouldn't run more than e54. The higher the ethanol your tune is done at, the more flexibility you have. After saying all that the difference between e85 and e54 is usually only 10hp( the curve is different though).
Had experience at yimi, don't recommend.
He's "cool" like honestly not a bad guy, but he acts like a know it all and it gets annoying. Also seems like he also doesn't understand that your motor isn't going to last with those numbers. He shouldve went with a higher e85 blend and lower the torque, that could've brought you closer to the 400whp mark too. No disrespect but I give you 2 months max until I see the "motor blew" video with those torque numbers.

Chris Widerski 350tq is where you wanna stop at to be safe. Anything higher then your risking it

This is weak sauce, An evo can get up to 450whp on e85 on stock turbo, with fuel upgrades and an exhaust on stock ecu. Converting to speed density instead of having maf is even better.
