I just can't say enough good things about Chef Jean Pierre, and all the crew that make this channel possible. What a way to start off a Monday. I enjoy watching all of your videos as soon as they are released. You've inspired me to get back in the kitchen and taught me how to level up my skills. You make me smile and I just wanted to say how much this is appreciated! You're a joy to watch!!
It’s sad so many of you grew up with terrible cooks. Many of you grew up with vegetables that were simply boiled in water and served. No wonder you don't like vegetables.
@Eros Sinema It's even sadder you can't read properly. I said "Brussel sprouts". My folks are Italian and made food that would put a 5 star restaurant to shame. Didn't matter though.... I always hated brussel sprouts. Still hate cabbage. Don't care how you make it.
Hey Chef, I like you occasionally forget things (I am 72) in the recipe and I forgot to add the lemon zest. I made them last night, Sunday, 8 September 2024 and they were delicious. This morning, I realized I forgot the zest, so I added it now, warmed them all up and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! They were all the more delicious. I used agave syrup and balsamic vinegrette too with the bacon, shallots, and I used a vidalia onion with 2 sliced carrots. So good and yummy. My wife of 50 years is not with me as she has Dementia of the Alzheimer's type and is in a memory care facility. I am cooking for myself and I enjoy doing so. Thank you for being my guide to a road of great meals.
What a GOD given talent! A Chef, a teacher, an entertainer and a comedian all rolled into one! I thought I was a very good cook prior to finding your channel. My husband thought so as well. I've been binge watching your channel and making practically ALL of your recipes, which by the way ARE totally amazing. I have learned so much from you and have taken my cooking skills to a new level. My husband, when I make a new recipe, says "You can make THIS again!" Thank you, Chef, for all that you do. GOD Bless and stay well!
Small, subtle sign, of a god-tier level chef "For all my regulars: forgive me for repeating myself...but it's important" This just shows how passionate Chef is, about EVERY, single subscriber/student/ of his, learning masterful techniques and becoming better at their craft. No worries, Chef- even sometimes us regulars need brushing up on!
I don't know how anyone cannot find Brussel Sprouts adorable. They look like tiny cabbages. I love my veggies so very happy every time chef performs magic like this with them!
To the family of Chef Jean-Pierre: I had watched almost a hundred of his videos before I looked him up on the internet. I was so saddened to read he had passed away, several years ago. His personality is so VARIANT! and ALIVE! I loved every second of watching him! I've found it hard to continue watching, it is a version of grief, I know. After several months of not watching his videos, Today, I watched this video, and I found my self SMILING just to hear his voice, and 'burn his mouth' once again! Thank you so very much, to you Jean-Pierre and to your family for continuing your teachings! I very much enjoy them!
Chef Jean-Pierre, we absolutely adore it when you repeat your cooking instructions and advises and cooking tips and life lessons and stories. Believe me, this is why we keep listening and asking for more. Be as you are, God bless everyone..
I have had to pleasure of making multiple dishes while watching Chef, it is a treat and he has not missed in my house yet. The whole family loves everything I have made watching these videos. Keep it up Chef, you are teaching us these wonderful dishes. You are GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!

I love Brussels sprouts! My go-to recipe is oven roasting (not burning) them with extra virgin olive oil, honey, garlic, salt & pepper & then tossing them with a little Balsamic vinegar & sprinkling them with Parmesan Reggiano at the end. Absolutely delicious! I never thought of cooking bacon with them. I'm trying Chef Jean-Pierre's recipe tomorrow. It looks delicious, too! Thank you, dear sir!
Any cooked cabbage made me gag as a kid. Had a stuffed cabbage at a wild game dinner and have eaten cabbage ever since. Every once in a while, sauerkraut gets me though.
Love love love, Jean Pierre. You have truly inspired me I’m a 46 year old man with a four-year-old and a nine-year-old son and a 13 year old daughter to spend more time cooking with them and just enjoying life. Thank you my friend.🙏🏽
Hi Chef Jean-Pierre! I love brussels sprouts and will definitely try them this way, adding the recipe to my folder. Please keep repeating yourself, it helps everyone remember things better. Jack, you're awesome, too! Thank you so much for sharing!
Chef: I cannot properly express how much I enjoy your videos and how much information I receive from watching them!!! Keep up the outstanding content!!!!
I made these today and these are THEE BEST sprouts I ever had. Not a bitter taste in them. I will be making these again because they are absolutely deliciouso!!!
I grew up with brussel sprouts and looooved them from day one. My dad was a chef too and he learned me, how to love bitterness in certain kind of foods. So today I love everything bitter including blue cheese and a small apple type called pigeons.
Chef, one of the things I really appreciate about you is that you tell us the temperatures in which something happens. No one else does that. Thank you.
I just love Brussel sprouts! I went through a phase of roasting them in the oven and you’re right. They get burnt. Now I just boil them first for a few minutes and then sauté them and load them with butter! I’ll have to try this recipe! It looks very delicious! Thank you once again Chef!🤗
I grew up watching so many cooking shows as long as I can remember. The FoodNetwork channel was always on the family TV and I continued watching cooking shows as I got older and I watched so many chefs and personalities. But I can say with all honestly that Chef Jean-Pierre is the best and my absolute favorite. He is the only chef that has motivated me to actually want to cook and try all sorts of recipes and even just experiment. I've cooked recipes that I would have never thought I would because of this wonderful man. Even how he talks and how comforting he is in all his videos really shows he cares and loves this craft. Cooking is really a passion for him and he makes me passionate about it too. I even just have his videos playing in the background while I'm cooking even though I will be cooking something else! Just even hearing his voice makes me love cooking. Chef Jean-Pierre is a National Treasure! Thank you for all that you do and the passion that you put into all your videos. ❤
Hi Chef Jean Pierre, I don’t like Brussels sprouts but the way you have cooked them makes me want to try them. They look really colourful and delicious xx
Thank you for your videos. I have four channels I watch regularly. My wife of 29+ years and I watched cooking videos during meal time, but I lost her on Sunday Feb 26. The night before, I cooked her a filet mignon with your garlic mushrooms for dinner, with some corn drowning in butter. She loved repeating some of your most used phrases after you say them and laughing. So thank you for the memories of love and laughter with my wife.
This recipe is the truth. I never saw any of your videos before, but I made this for dinner today. So good! I agree with the addition of the balsamic vinegar at the end. It elevated the dish to pure perfection. I will definitely be making this again. Thanks!

Thank you for the awesome recipe chef @Jean Pierre 👨🍳 I love Brussel sprouts! I usually curry them with coconut milk & their excellent. I also make a gravy styled Brussel sprouts that are a hit when I make them.
I've always been taught to do this is in one pan. First the bacon, take the crunchy bits out, in the brussel sprouts go to brown them with a little onion. Once the onion and brussel sprouts are browned enough I pour in some chicken broth and let them simmer until the chicken broth boils out and the brussel sprouts are softened. Then I add the bacon back in and serve.

You made my day, thank you! I bought brussel sprouts for the first time yesterday at 57, lol. I have had to change my whole diet last couple of weeks, recently diabetic, so will have to skip the sugar part. This dish looks so delish, going to make tonight for dinner! Cannot wait...
I personally love Brussel Sprouts, but I am used to saute them with an onion and then add the water with a herb stock to boil till the sprouts are ready and it just brings out all the best flavours of the srpouts
Well Chef Jean Pierre, I made two of your recipes today. I made the honey garlic chicken stir fry, which was amazing. I also made your Brussel Sprouts with bacon, unbelievable. Actually, I made three recipes. I also made clarified butter for the stir fry. You are the best! Thanks for sharing so many of your outstanding recipes with us.
I always steam my vegetables instead of boiling them because i've always been told you lose so many vitamins in the water even if you don t put them in for long, and steaming keeps the vitamins in better. I wonder what chef thinks.
I loved going to your cooking school. I’m actually a pretty darn good cook according to my friends. I love “ measure carefully”. When someone asks me how much if this or that. I say about that much. Thanks for posting. I enjoy your show. Btw. I also have your little trigger pulled thermometer. For that myar reaction lol.

Brussel sprouts have been my least, if not worst vegetable to eat, since childhood. However, Chef Jean-Pierre with his infectious persona always makes his food delectable and flavorful. Just cooked these, the wife loved them, although I did forget the sugar and salt in the water, still very happy with the 1st attempt. Thanks Jean-Pierre, not only a fantastic chef, but you bring joy and laughter too. Just a positive vibe watching you, much love sir, thank you.
Chef, I must say that for the majority of my career I have oven roasted Brussels Sprouts. Though I rarely burnt them (I must admit though (I have been known to) I would not come up with an even roasted brown like you did in the pan. I will have to try these as they looked absolutely wonderful and evenly roasted. Most of what you make is close to what I make but I must say that I have to try Sprouts this way! I'm sure they will be wonderful as Brussels Sprouts are one of my favorite vegetables. I can see why your channel has grown to the size it has.

Great video fwiend I am going to use this recipe for thanksgiving tomorrow
Chef, I must say that for the majority of my career I have oven roasted Brussels Sprouts. Though I rarely burnt them (I must admit though (I have been known to) I would not come up with an even roasted brown like you did in the pan. I will have to try these as they looked absolutely wonderful and evenly roasted. Most of what you make is close to what I make but I must say that I have to try Sprouts this way! I'm sure they will be wonderful as Brussels Sprouts are one of my favorite vegetables. I can see why your channel has grown to the size it has.
My wom makes good brusky’s!!! Not like your recipe but good. Gonna try this way too! Looks good! 👍
