    I did that 8 years ago and work out very well. No worry about water leakage at the roof line.

    For the wood by the A/C that got wet you can soak it with Wood Hardener, it’s a resin that soaks into the wood, hardens and waterproofs. It can be screwed into without cracking.

    Great Job!. I was shocked to see how clean you got the roof. When the weather cools a bit I'll be up on by roof. Only comment I would make is I would have painted both AC covers white. More reflective and keeps the unit running cooler. thank you!

    removing that calking where the roof meats the side wall would better be done with a plastic scraper

    I just subscribed great video! You ever think of putting some type of rv armor or flex seal on top of the whole roof?
    I’ve heard rv armor does not stick to the eternabond tape tho but maybe the white flex seal does

      Hi and thanks for watching and the comments. I probably could have just gone over it, but it was really pretty loose and no trouble to remove. Looks good, but I have heard horror stories about the tape shrinking and letting water in past the tape. It’s an absolute nightmare to remove and repair the damage.

    • @NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS
      @NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, thanks for the watching and the comments. I have noticed some wrinkling begining to show, but am thinking it is temperature related. I don't see it turning loose anywhere as that is some of the stickest stuff I have ever seen. I can see why it would be a pain to remove. If it does become a problem, I might as well pull the entire roof off because I won't be able to just remove the tape. I'm going to keep an eye on it and do another video if I have problems with it. Either way, if you haven't done so already, please consider Subscribing and tap the bell icon. I would really appreciate you doing that if you would please. Thanks again.

    Did you use 6" width or 4" width tape? Just wondering if one is easier to manage given how sticky this stuff is?

    • @NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS
      @NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I used a combination of both. I think I went around vents and stuff on roof with 4" and a long the edges with 6". It is extremely sticky. As far as going along the edges I think I found the best solution as seen in the video. Let me know how it goes for you if you use it. On the side, did you remove you gutter trim and put the eternabond in instead of?
    How’s it holding up?

    • @NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS
      @NINEPOINTFIVEPROJECTS  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hi and thanks for watching and the comments. I cleaned everything real good including the gutters. I then rolled the tape down into the gutter the best i could. It does cut down the capacity of the gutters a bit, but doesn't appear to be a problem.
      The reason I went into the gutter is the way mine is built, the screws holding the gutter go through the gutter, through the sealing putty, through the roofing material and into the wall. That is a huge leak potential right there! They seal the top of the gutter metal to the roofing material with a tiny bead of caulk. I show that in my video. The caulk dries out and can let water down behind the gutter and into the wall.
      The tape is holding up very well and staying adhered nicely. The think I have noticed however is that it expands and contracts a good bit. Some days it appears wrinkled and some days it's laying nice and flat. Look for my 1 year review video and you can see what I'm talking about. Either way, if you haven't done so already, Please consider Subscribing and hit the like botton. I really appreciate each and every subscriber as I strive to grow my channel. I would REALLY appreciate it. Thanks again.
