Helldivers feels like a mashup of if an ODST marine had the mentality of starship trooper and the budget of the EDF

Also, there is a Starship Troopers game like this.
Given rubix most recent video on it, it looks like that game has become broken in several ways. It may be a while before it's back in a playable state
Unfortunately the first update after months absolutely broke the game, the bugs plus the fact that some stuff like being able to be squashed by the deployable bunker being taken off the game took some of the fun
@@familiaalegre6252 from what I've read they moved from unreal engine 4 to unreal engine 5 and in doing so broke a *LOT* of code
its still in early access, and they're revamping the class systems. Whats also nice is that they're listening to the community for feedback and implementing it to the game.

FYI there is a Starship Troopers game, called Starship Trooper Extermination. Currently live service and has been out for a while.

From what I’m able to gather;
Helldivers 2 is about ODSTs from Halo fighting the bugs from Starship Troopers and the Dark Troopers from Star Wars. And the game isn’t on Xbox which is a massive kick in the balls.
Look on the plus side, you can always save your money, get a PlayStation or a PC and then you'll get to play the game. I got the opposite problem, I got to save up for the latest Xbox. I got the Xbox one but it's on its last legs
But there is a Starship Troopers game similar to this. Its called Starship Troopers Extermination. Its just its gotten some bugs now with it's newest update.

There's literally a game that came out this year in Steam Early Access, Starship Troopers: Extermination. It's actually pretty damn good, just not as good as Helldivers 2.

But seriously, it still has issues, I would say even more than release, and it's already close to a year since it's early access release.
I want to play this so bad but I don't have the money to get or the online friends to play it with
