So interesting thing. The casting director for the american version of power rangers apparently they were not aware of what they did until someone brought it up like ten episodes later
It took them that long to notice well it was before people started going after stuff like that so
Honestly, I grew up on the power rangers...and the Blue, Green, Black, and Yellow Rangers were all my favorites. I NEVER made the connection between their race and color till I was an adult and saw people point it out.

It took them 10 episode to realise they had an Asian casted as the yellow ranger. With Black Ranger THE ACTOR SPECIFICALLY ASKED TO BE SWITCH TO THE BLACK RANGER AFTER BEING CASTED AS THE BLUE RANGER BECAUSE HE FELT THE BLACK RANGER WAS A COOLER CHARACTER.
To clarify the stupidity behind the woman being forced off the bus with the black lab, I'll say this since I remember the original post about it from Reddit being read by rSlash years ago.
The problem the woman was having was that the woman was using a black lab as a disability assistant and not a golden retriever or other breeds known better for this. She thought the dog was fake and a fake license (which admittedly can happen, mostly thanks to how some breeds are widely-banned otherwise) and demanded that they get off.
Kinda big problem for Karen to take into consideration: just like how different people have different needs, dogs behave differently between breeds, which means the standard golden lab from the movies isn't a one-size-fits-all. While Golden Retrievers and Golden Labs are very friendly, some people may find them too energetic, which makes Black Labs one of the next best options, since they tend to have the same friendliness but with less caffeinated energy.
Edit: We wanted to clarify the text just a little, since it was vague, in case anyone needs it (otherwise, skip over.) So don't mind us adding it 5 months after the fact. 😅
So the fake badges: they're usually on dogs like Pitbulls or Rottweilers because they have been so widely banned for basically no reason (it's not the dogs that are aggressive; smart dogs get angry when abused or mistreated, Border Collies are also known to get aggressive for "no reason" and are regularly called the smartest dog breed. They don't look anything like the "aggressive" pitbulls either, with all that crap, they look like any other stereotypical fluffy family dog. Dogs smart enough to realize that they don't like the way they're being treated will act accordingly, just like any other intelligent being. And pitbulls and rottweilers as breeds are high on the list as well.) So in many areas now, even if pets ARE allowed, these breeds aren't. However, what people have started to do is get their dogs "certified" so that their dog cannot be denied access (service dogs must be permitted where pets are accessible, doesn't matter the breed. It's the law, ADA.)
As for Golden Retriever/Labs vs Black Labs, we didn't really explain this, so to put it as simply as possible, some patients may not be able to handle a caffeinated dog due to various health issues. If you can't run and play with the Goldies, they will run around and play with you, which is not always great. But Black Labs are actually known to be calm enough that they are the top breed for ASD service dogs. They still have the same lovableness, but they can actually sit down and relax if you need to take a break. So your service dog is just as custom as you are.
Yeah. Sounds about right to be honest. My friend has a black lab and he is the kindest dog I have ever met, the only thing he wants is to just chill with his humans and by god I adore him. His name is Zeus BTW as he was born with lightning bolt patterns in his fur.

Basically, a black smurf will bite the other Smurfs and turn them black too, where they will go around biting others while being overly aggressive. So, yeah, before Night of the Living Dead. Fellow German here!😅 I really have to explain the "German Racewars" part!😅 It is an Event that takes place every year and it is a Drag racing Event!😂😂 The term "Racewars" was only taken because of the Racewars Events in the USA. Like seen in the first "Fast and Furious" Movie. The Organizers wanted to create a safe environment for the Car Tuning Scene to compete against each other and take the races off the street.

The only reason I can imagine this being the case is because the dog would blend in very well in the dark, making it more difficult for them (and the visually impaired) to be seen, and more susceptible to being hit by oncoming traffic.
If you look at the picture, the dog is wearing a neon green harness with reflective material sewn in, and the owner is wearing a belt in the same materials. Even the hard handle of the harness is made of the same materials/colors. The only reason i can think of of someone telling her to get off is because racism.

About the three flags pic, the tricolour WAS the German flag during ww2. This is called Flagge Deutschlands and it had been used by Germany since 1848. It is still the German national flag today. During ww2, the NSDAP regime did invent a new German flag, red background having a large black cross with a swatstika at its center point, (NOT to be mistaken for the Nazi party flag which was plain red with a white circle at the middle with a swastika in it) but the tricolour flag officially remained the national flag throughout the era and endured till present day. The 'Nazi flag' people are very familiar with today is the party's flag, NOT the national flag.

That last one with Green Arrow was a 4Chan edit. I found the original one; the black kid was around the same height as the other boys and he had what looked like an orange on his head (so the arrow wasn’t aimed at his neck).
And that's why in the animated adaptation for the episode they changed it from black to Purple Smurfs

Your NSA joke reminded me of a similar joke i heard a while ago. Three Russians are sharing a hotel suit in the early eighties two of them are keeping the other one awake telling risky jokes about the communist party and Stalin very loudly so the other guy picks up the phone and tells the front desk to deliver a coffee on exactly ten minutes. He then confronts the two telling them be quiet don't you know the KGB listenes to everything he then faces the table lamp and yells I love the Soviet union and support comrade Stalinl as he sits back down he sighs and says i could really use a coffee now. Almost immediately there is a knock at the door and when they answer it a member of staff hands him a coffee. The other two shaken go straight to bed. The Power Rangers thing actually was accidental. Trini was replaced after the pilot episode, and the original actress was not Vietnamese. It's hard to tell with some of the footage, but I think the original actress was black. The character was still named Trini even before the casting switch.
Billy and Zack's actors were apparently swapped during production as well, so the black actor was supposed to be the blue ranger. The producers didn't notice what they ended up with until the tenth episode.
The producers, on the other hand, were 100% homophobic and were constantly gay-bashing the blue ranger.
Not just the producers, but apparently a good chunk of the cast and grew were VERY homophobic ot the blue ranger.
That being said, apparently Jason David Frank was one of the few cast members that not only never did any of that stuff, but he also apparently supported the blue ranger as well.
the spotify thing at 27:45 is set up to look racist, the person was probably listening to the group Black Kids on their Discover Weekly playlist, and didnt like the song, so spotify asked why, is it the song itself or the group. Spotify didnt name the group, the group was chosen by the listeners algorithm.

It's not unpredictable, generally you have to push a dog, and the more trained the dog, the more you have to push it to attack. And even then, some dogs won't fight back and we'll just be beaten to death. So you're still wrong. And assuming that a muscular dog is going to be more likely to be aggressive isn't based in reality, it's based on human fear.

Pretty sure 80mph isn't a snailpace speed limit. What you're not thinking about is that manufacturers make their cars differently for different countries often times which causes issues. The cars that Europe gets are built completely different than the ones they send to America due to the more expensive costs.
