People wonder, how the Doctor could keep going on without looking at them and forgetting them in the process. But if you watch closely, he keeps track of every single Silent in that room, yes, he's walking around, talking, doing stuff and looking all around the place, but he's doing one more important thing: he's watching them the whole time. Even if he's looking at the tv directly while preparing for the broadcast, he still got some of them in his vision field, they are all over the room, so it's not that hard to have at least one of them in his line of sight while walking around. It's not needed to look at the very same Silent to remember, he just picks up the one closest to him at the moment to keep going on. That's quite clever.
He also turns to face the TARDIS within 5 seconds of entering the room. Amy and Rory also watch the footage and don't try to attack the Silence. Plus the entire scenario doesn't even make sense. For instance, the man in the Oval Office firing a gun in the same room as the president. I mean. No questions asked, really?
@@foehammer5047 he hasnt fired it yet just aimed it i assume they were just gonna aim at him together to make sure he doesnt do shit... also pulling out a gun at threats is kinda the job of a bodyguard
I think an Archeologist telling you, in response to how she can know what's going on as well as she does, that, "I'm from the future. I dug you up. See you in 100 years!" is one of the most savage things I've ever heard, lol
Love River and The Doctor. The fighter and the dreamer. The protector and the healer. Lifetime after lifetime destined for each other. The cords that keep the universe together. The giving tree
The Doctor being impressed by how quickly River can kill people - LOL, not sure what to make of that. Maybe the Oncoming Storm part of him enjoys the idea of someone who can keep up with him in doing horrible things when needed? 0:44
this was the first doctor who scene i saw. it just aired on random channel. out of context it looked pretty stupid, and that River spin to shoot was goofy af.
Shhh...wibbly-wobbly. Kinda like the historical footage showing Armstrong about to step on the lunar surface, but the audio is Aldrin doing his callouts right after they landed and were shutting the engine down....6 hours BEFORE Armstrong exited the LM. Just sit back and enjoy the show.
They also play audio from Eagle's final descent to the surface during Neil's descent down the ladder, even though those two things happened hours apart.
Yes, but to me it makes sense. Think it was this doctor, forget who he said it to but one of my favorite scenes was when someone called him a good man and how he had so many rules. He pointed out good men don't need rules, and how he wouldn't want to find out why the doctor has that many. Or when David Tennant was being hunted by a family and he erased his memory so he could hide. The end qe found out he was trying to just let them die, because he could do so much worse and was trying to be nice.
@@BrianMoviesMaker that's why I liked the 11th, he was so nice and goofy. But there, when they took Amy to get her baby. They said he was a good man and had to many rules, he said good men don't need rules. Reminds me of this guy I knew that would say don't confuse my kindness for weakness.
4:25 awh man. she was a bad ass until the dumb impractical spin shooting. lol Just point at you targets. its way faster and actually accurate. and it doesn't look all silly lol! They can play it up with, "Gun-Fu", but they didn't even try lol.

he literally closes his eyes and looks at the floor when Amy criticizes him for flirting
He probably has invisible cameras or eyes on every side of his head

I think he also memorized his monologue. It didn't matter if he forgot them he just kept delivering it .

"So, what kind of doctor are you?" "Archeology."

she went to the Lara Croft School of Archaeology
Fun fact if you count the hits/bodies falling there's 8, just like River said

River had such Queen Indiana Jones energy, the kind of woman even Daleks feared when staring down the barrel of her pistol.

Rule #1 of being the doctor. Use your enemies power against them.
I knew I recognized Chukwudi Iwuji from somewhere.
Him and Karen together years before guardians
One of the scariest villians in the show
I hope they bring back river song in the future of the show. She is the GOAT
This scene is so epic
Man how does he even remember the script???
Love a tomb...😅

Yeah, but that too shelf dialog though!! 💬
Nice try Moffatt, but that Oval Office TV at 2:38 is a PAL set and not the NTSC one Nixon would have been watching

Did the doctor commit encourage possible gencide on the silence ?
Technicaly he did Jigsaw: he let them do it to them-self :P

@@tonyblake7569 I guess.. the 10th and 11th are so different that I haven’t seen 11th do anything this dark in his entire run

not really genocide if it’s an invader being fought against…

She shouldn't even remember it being there, the premise was "kill on sight and forget you did it" and they managed to fuck it up
