  • Friday, April 5 marked the 30th anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death.
    That 30 years ago, Kurt Cobain was found dead at his Leschi neighborhood home from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. That day changed music and the city forever.
    Three decades later, the Nirvana front man's legacy is a lasting one. He was called the "voice of a generation." That voice still resonates two generations later.

      @@laurawatters914 I felt bad for this guy when he died he had something wrong with his stomach and he seemed like a good guy and not arrogant at all a good guy with social problems but a good guy in the end 👍I hope he was happy with the little life he had I feel he was a well meaning guy with problems,?? Bless his soul Lord?!

    I was 18 in April 1994. Grunge music was massive in the early 90's. I think this was the beginning of the end for grunge music's popularity. By later 1994 alternative music was getting more popular. Bands like Collective Soul, Counting Crows, Sheryl Crow, Lisa Loab were getting a lot of radio and MTV airplay. Continue to RIP Kurt! =)

    Was in my 1st year of high school, April 1994. Now I watched all the great live performance recordings of Kurt, I would have given 10 years to have been 22' and seen him live.
