Im severely allergic to grass so this is the only way I can experience mowing the lawn. Didn't know a mental breakdown was part of it, but nice to know.

@@SweetSacrifice000 lmaooo I take daily allergy meds (different ones every 3 months bc my body develops resistance to them 🤙), an emergency inhaler, singulair daily (steroid for my lungs - let's me no longer need a nebulizer daily), and an epipen and benadryl are always on me. I just avoid the outdoors during peak allergy season and thankfully I live in a city, so grass isn't a huge issue. If someone's mowing their lawn, I will have to use my inhaler though. I don't start having an allergic reaction unless I'm touching it thankfully and k95 masks are really helpful.

I asked a similar question on the first Power washer Simulator vid, except it was who is the bigger Boomer, him for playing or me for watching.
What makes it more concerning is that i am enjoying a video of mark enjoying a lawn mowing sim while reading a comment about a person wondering they are more concerned that mark is enjoying a lawn mowing sim or that they are enjoying watching mark enjoying a lawn mowing sim

i do landscaping for a living and this is pretty damn accurate. i use a standing mower that goes 20 mph, and its super fun! lol. however theres no such thing as a mowers motor gettting "overloaded". we mow for 12 hours striaght every day and they never slow down or break down. and the "pro view" in this game is what we call the "landscaper's eye"

Genuinely mowing around the edges has always been my move. I know it’s less efficient but also it’s simpler and more satisfying when the lawn is a weird shape and has lots of obstacles.

When you were talking about mowing the flowerbed at 18:55 it reminded me of when I use to mow my parents lawn as a kid too. Except I was a jerk, I suppose. My dad told me to avoid a small tree that started growing on its own in the middle of the yard because he liked it. I intentionally ran right over it for fun. My dad's a good sport though, so I'm still alive today surprisingly.
I still mow my grandparents' lawn each week, and sometimes our lot which we're trying to get rid of. Going in stripes is far more efficient, for the most part, though it doesn't really matter. It really is one of those tasks that is just tedious enough but not so terribly boring that you can just lose yourself in your thoughts for awhile and go on autopilot.
Stripes are easier with a push mower too...
That's pretty much the only advantage of a push mower though 😅 👍
These simulator games are basically turning into a podcast of Mark with the game in the background, and I love it

Fun fact about Roombas: the original machine was actually incredibly accurate in learning your home. As in, within a few hours you would walk into a room and it would be running in perfect efficient lines around furniture. It was so fast learning that it freaked out the folks in the consumer trials, so the machines were "dumbed down" to make them appear less intelligent so people would feel comfortable buying them.
