Always nice to hear about your projects. No need to have finished objects. Your eyebrows look fine either way, so whatever makes you happy. You look very pretty always. You have beautiful skin and fine features. Lucky girl!
Hello, Vanissia! I also have the same thoughts as the person in the previous comment. Sorry for bothering you, just want to let you know that we will be glad to hear from you at any time)
My mum always used Opel sock yarn. She loved it. I still have the very first pair of Opal brand socks she made me as an adult. They were gifted to me nearly 25 years ago!!!!! I wear them every winter. They are washed in my washing machine, in a lingerie bag and are hung up to dry. I wish you much joy with your socks.
Beautiful colors… I always enjoy seeing what you are working on😊 I loved hearing about your outing; one bonus of watching podcasters in other countries is the vicarious travelling 😂.
Always lovely to hear you reflect on your knitting journey! Thank you, I always enjoy your podcasts and learn a lot from them. Greetings from Quebec City, Canada!
Great video, Vanissia! My suggestion of yarn for the Kuutar shawl is the gray yarn. It seems more fitting for a Japanese lace pattern than the tweedy yarn.
Love your shawl in the hand dyed yarn, so beutiful. For the last shawl I totally follow your reasoning and drawing on this, I would recommend you doing the lace shawl in the plain blue gray yarn. It would look very pretty.🎉
Thanks for a lovely podcast, so enjoy hearing about your makes. The exquisite yarn is lovely I made a Friday tee with this yarn and the fabric is lovely and soft.
Don’t feel like you need a FO to film! I loved seeing your WIPs and am very glad you decided to record them. The pressed flowers shawl and maggie cardigan are gorgeous - I think those vibrant pinks and purples are your colours!
I smile every time you say 'tada'. I'd go for the exquisite yarn for the Kutaar shawl, I hope the beauty of the yarn will make you enjoy the process a little more especially since you're not pumped about the tedium of knitting the motif again. Your brows look great too.
I really enjoyed your podcast! Your cozy classic light looks so pretty! I also really like your cumulus blouse, it looks very interesting! looking forward to your next episode :)
Beautiful stitch definition on your turtle dove shawl. I think the variegation of the skein brings interest. I agree that using those special skeins and then displaying the object knitted is a way of enjoying the yarn also.
thank you ! so nice when matching a pattern and a yarn works out like that

So many projects, and all pretty! About the Kuutar: I would go for the silvery grey. It harmonizes with the motif and the whole idea of the shawl better. Japanese lace, as you say - Japanese designs usually use thin yarns and are so drapey... The tweedy would be nice for a contrasting effect, I mean, to explore the contrast of the delicate motif and the "hard-wearing" theme inherent to tweed. But in this case I don't think the contrast would work for the best.
I love the shawl and that colour is gorgeous. I'm quite in love with the shawl pattern by Sari Nordlund myself, I plan to knit all of them. I did the Poet scarf as a gift and now I'm working on the Kuutar shawl.
so happy to see you published a new podcast ! love love love the pressed flower shawl , the yarn combo is AMAZING ! i also participated in Sari's knit along and the Kuutar shawl was so hard to make ...
I love all your projects! Your colorwork is beautiful. If I were you I would use that lovely pale blue and just make the beach day shawl. It looks small and you may have enough yarn held double with itself. I think it will actually be very pretty in that color and you can get it done quickly and easily to earn prizes in the KAL.
Loved seeing all the beautiful hand dyed yarns and projects! Also for microblading my friend who was tinting her brows for a long time swears by her recent switch to microblading ;)
Love your pressed flowers shawl. Colour choice is fab. I would buy another skein of WYS lace yarn and hold 4 strands together for the Kutaar scarf. No yarn chicken and no stress rejigging pattern. The motivation of the perfect FO will keep you knitting for the 20 days.
I had the same issue with the Petal Drop Socks. I decided to switch the front and back halves so the bigger motives ended up on the top/front part. It's an easy modification, and as a result the finished socks look more similar to the sample piece on Florence's pictures. The pastel blue colour you choose is lovely!
lovely projects, my pressed flowers had sooo much left over that is sitting in stash, and I even thought I was playing yarn chicken, so maybe it will be ok without the other ball🤞
Beautiful podcast, Vanissia! I was in France last week and saw the Exquisite yarn in this exact color, and I really wanted to buy it (in fingering weight), but was very hesitant and could not find the project for it. Its very drapy and soft, and I love it so much, but most people knit scarves with it which I didnt want. This yarn is still in my heart and I am still trying to find a sweater/cardi project, but afraid its too fluid/drapy for big projects
it's always different when it's /your/ face, but for what it's worth, i think your eyebrows look great in this video!!!!! also I've been more interested in zakami yarn, but i think your fos/wips this episode have pushed me over the edge hehe
Hmm... i think that if it's a complicated patter you shouldn't have to stress yourself with gauge on top of it, so i say go for the tweedy DK! I'm working a sweater nº15 with a really similar yarn to yours and it looks very pretty yet very casual. oooh I wish you had the merino/silk one in at least fingering weight, haha. I love watching your videos because I find a lot of new different patterns. I've spent the last two weeks searching for a good lace camisole to use some silk yarn i bought and i just couldn't find one i liked on ravelry but you mentioned that the lace patter on your socks is also on a cami?? I checked it out and immediately bought the pattern and I'm so excited to get started
You probably know thisL several knitters have noticed that AM's yoke pullovers like Illumination and Pink Velvet bulge at the top of the sleeves, so you might try larger needles to pick up the sleeves. I didn't think this would happen to me because my gauge tends to be consistent, but I had to rip back due to the bulge. It's a wonderful design and pattern and is stunning when finished!
Your eyebrows look great, though to be honest I thought they looked great anyway. However, mine are fading as I go grey, so I empathise. I agree with all you say about the Kuutar shawl, not a relaxing knit. I’m knitting the Beach Day now and that is much easier and perhaps more wearable. Thank you for another enjoyable podcast.
I did notice your eyebrows today! I think they actually look quite nice - the outer parts are maybe a little darker than the rest, but the inside and middle of each brow looks good !
Mt daughter is a natural blonde with very thin and light eyebrows. She tries different things at times but nothing permanent. Yours look good, but I also like them natural. Same thing I tell my daughter😊
I honestly think that if you don’t like a pattern you shouldn’t force yourself to make it! 😊 that said, the second yarn option looked nee ally pretty (cream with speckles)
I was unaware of the eyebrow drama, but I had been thinking that your eyebrows looked particularly nice before you said anything about them. I hope you find something that makes you feel confident and beautiful, because that is the most important thing, but as little as it matters, this random internet stranger thinks that they look very nice right now. (I also enjoyed your knitting project updates 😂)
Feels like you "know" in some sense that you want to do that beautiful purple-blue-grey Exquisite 4Ply for the scarf, and are maybe hesitating because you're not 100% inspired by the pattern right now. Trust your gut! It will be beautiful, and you can always rip back.
Dear Vanissia, you are sorely missed ❤ Love from Sally in Sweden xx
I hope you’re ok.
Dear Vanissia, I hope you are happily knitting. I really enjoyed your podcasts and miss our 'visits'❤
Darcy from Wisconsin😊
Always nice to hear about your projects. No need to have finished objects. Your eyebrows look fine either way, so whatever makes you happy. You look very pretty always. You have beautiful skin and fine features. Lucky girl!
thank you so very much!
It’s always a joy to hear your project updates Vanissia!!
thank you!
Always look forward to your podcasts. Always very interesting. You do not need an FO or a volume of projects to make a good video. Just be you.
Thanks for that!
Your pressed flowers shawl color combo and pink velvet sweater color combo are so inspired! Love them! Enjoy!
Thank you!

Love seeing all of your WIPs…such an interesting variety. That lavender/purple color!! 😍🔥
Thank you so much!
Those socks are gorgeous vanissia, i will be adding them to my list too!!

aw aha !!
That is the most beautiful pressed flowers shawl that I have ever seen.
aww thanks, cant wait for it to be bigger !!
I really enjoyed your podcast! Your cozy classic light looks so pretty! I also really like your cumulus blouse, it looks very interesting! looking forward to your next episode :)
Oh thank you!

very true about the light grey matching the japanese lace better !
Great episode! Really like your eye make up too :)

very tempted to do another poet one !

in the end i cast on the beach day shawl !! was too daunted to do a kuutar on a time crunch lol! but will probably make it down the line :D
I love all your projects! Your colorwork is beautiful. If I were you I would use that lovely pale blue and just make the beach day shawl. What a beautiful combination of colours for your pressed flowers shawl xxx
thank you!

thank you! in the end, i will save that yarn for something else, i used the tweedy !
We miss you , all the best wishes and greetings from Germany.
The shawl is beautiful!!
Agree the shawl is STUNNING!!!
thansk :D

yes, i saw someone on ravelry did that, maybe it was you, haha ! Great idea !
lovely projects, my pressed flowers had sooo much left over that is sitting in stash, and I even thought I was playing yarn chicken, so maybe it will be ok without the other ball🤞
that's what i want to hear, aha !

awww, it is such a pretty colour isnt it ! And yes, sometimes too drapey can be a problem
it's always different when it's /your/ face, but for what it's worth, i think your eyebrows look great in this video!!!!! also I've been more interested in zakami yarn, but i think your fos/wips this episode have pushed me over the edge hehe
thank you!! And would love to see what zakami yarn you'd go for and what project you'd do ! you always surprise me with pattern choices :D
Hmm... i think that if it's a complicated patter you shouldn't have to stress yourself with gauge on top of it, so i say go for the tweedy DK! I'm kniknitting a pair of socks in Arwetta while watching your podcast, and you just confirmed my fears hahaha 😅
aw nooo, well hopefully they last you long!
I think planning dates/days out is so important. I get the same if i don’t have things to look forward to. 😊
I prefer the pale grey blue yarn for your 3rd Sari shawl. I think it is looks silky and suits you.
You probably know thisL several knitters have noticed that AM's yoke pullovers like Illumination and Pink Velvet bulge at the top of the sleeves, so you might try larger needles to pick up the sleeves. thanks! can feel the rest with a bit of makeup!
Mt daughter is a natural blonde with very thin and light eyebrows. She tries different things at times but nothing permanent. Yours look good, but I also like them natural. Same thing I tell my daughter😊
thank you for saying !
Do you add in the cost of the pattern in the cost of the project or just the yarn?
i dont, actually ! but i do track my purchases for patterns separately!
I honestly think that if you don’t like a pattern you shouldn’t force yourself to make it! 😊 that said, the second yarn option looked nee ally pretty (cream with speckles)
i ended up using that tweed yarn !
@@thewoollyworker yay! 🙌

so important to listen to our gut !
Go to the Mostly Knitting channel. Tash has a recently video about how to fix rowing out problems. Love your Turtle Dove scarf.
thanks for the recommendation !
Hey hope you are ok, really missing your podcasts. Please let us know how you are we are worried about you xx.
