A lot of love and care went into this game, it doesn't feel like I'm watching something sterile or filtered. Gotta respect the dev teams, especially the writers because they hit the nail on the head 99% of the time when it came to the character's personalities and shedding the internal struggles of the heroes and at times, even the villains. Cloud is a bit broody, but within reason at the very least in this game, so, I give the writers a bonus for that as well. Also, again, props to the uploader as well for posting this playlist.
I thank you for taking the time to upload these videos. I have not had the chance to play the Dissidia games on PSP, so I am trying to catch up on the story. I hope Square Enix will continue support for this story spin-off with Opera Omnia and perhaps port to PC in the future.
Does Opera Omnia have a story too? But yeah, I really liked this game as well. The soundtrack is especially amazing. I still listen to it in fact every now and then. That final boss fight music gave me goosebumps when I played it. It escalated so perfectly in the game.
@@Tamiil In a way yes, continuing on with Materia and Spiritus trying to maintain balance of the land of respite created for the warriors. I think the current chapter is searching for Warrior of Light and focusing on FF8 characters. I am grateful Opera Omnia and NT exist, this helped me remember the original Dissidia series.
@@mskiara18 Gotcha. Yeah, this was a nice surprise for FF fans when it first released. They made it for the 20th anniversary of the FF franchise irc and it turned out to be way better than anyone expected. Now it is its own series.
Thank you. :) I've never actually heard of reports. :P I must've completely missed them somehow. Usually I try to do as much side stuff as possible just in case. If they add anything to the overall story then I put them in my videos, other than that I try to stay focused on the main story.
They definitely fill in a lot of character motivations, as well as give additional background to the conflict, with some additional showcase to characters (eg: from FFXI, among others) and how they affected the whole situation before everyone else (there's even two CG cutscenes you can only get to see via the reports). Also, some text-based non-voiced scenes actually have voiced cutscene versions that can only be seen in those reports. I really hope you try those out, if you can. (Mind you, all this optional extra stuff is only in the reports in Duodecim 012)
Damn, I really missed out then. I don't own the game anymore sadly. I don't understand how I completely missed that aspect of the game. Knowing me I would've gone out of my way to get them all if they add so much to the story. I do plan to get to Duodecim at some point though. At least I know to look for these reports now.
Story line good. But I'm so lost time year, I didn't like the fighting style, the line gave each charata chance to show different powers an magical n somman. The made a great story line, but the fighting style I just don't agreed with.

It's so hard to believe that the little shit from the beach, is one of the legendary heroes being thrown at chaos itself.
Who? (Not playing other final fantasy game)
@@Saucegivers Tidus. From 10.

Nice work. Are you gonna do the main story, or will you also put in the cutscenes from the reports?
