I did this in an M135i at driver training. We did the test at 90 km/h (or as fast as you could get the car in the distance to the lane change). Very stable!

Mr. Harper, Is this supposed to be a video showing the safest way to avoid an object in the road in front of you when there is no time to think? If that's the idea, then it is NOT at all the case, and it should be removed asap. If it is meant as something else the title should be changed. If you do come across something in the road in front of you that you need to avoid and there is no time to think and you need to react, drivers should not react with steering inputs like this. With an ABS vehicle, full abs pressure should be applied first allowing weight to transition to the noise of the vehicle. Then smooth steering input should be added once weight is over the noise to prevent weight being able to transfer from side to side. The abs braking system is reducing the speed, which provides more control, more time, and less severe impacts if they still occur. The abs system keeps the wheels spinning which will still allow for steering control. This technique is far more effective and applies to cars, suvs, trucks with ABS brakes, it applies in different conditions and at different speeds. What is shown in the video is dangerous for the average driver and should not be labeled as an emergency lane change. Please relabel this video so it doesn't hurt anyone.
    Thank you

Jeremy Randall hello, this is a exercise they teach at the BMW Performance driving center in South Carolina. This is not an instructional video, it’s just documentation of part of their program. Please take up your concerns with BMW, as I have no part in planning their curriculum. Cheers.

@@jbh1126 thanks Jonathan, I assume they have corrected there error if that's the case. There is value in this exercise but certainly not how it's presented here.
