Almost 50 & I feel the same way… I can not stand the way society is built & I’ve felt this way since I was 15 but I keep surfing this wave with the jagged coral reefs below me because that’s what we’ve been programmed to do. I do however push back against establishment and do as little as I can on the shit they want me to do. I keep my sanity by playing video games ( NO TV EVER ) working on my veggie garden & hitting my punching bags. I don’t know anyone I grew up with and have 1 neighbor that I talk / hang with. I do help a 94 yo woman by driving her around grocery shopping or taking her shopping for whatever so she can get out of her house since she can’t drive anymore. Wish I could give you a hug…. Stay strong young blood. Battle those demon in your head because they want to tear you down. Much love to you
“I f do not know anyone I grew up with?” You mean you don’t talk to them anymore? Well in my case it’s different as I still occasionally talk to old friends but I realize that we are much different people at this point and the only thing we have in common at this point are our shared memories. Oh and the thought of making new friends is quite daunting . Plus I’ve realized that people = drama/bs
Be a river. Live in the now & for the future & forget the past. If u r doing the right thing u will be like a river in May, not the river in November. I never wake up thinking ' I didn't worry enough yesterday.' Dwell on the past & go negatively will make u miserable. Just be positive & let the crap flow away from you. 😮
Im gen z but this is just ridiculous. We never had to go througe wars and famines. We live in the best era in history. Sure it can change but older people definitely went trouge stuff.
It’s rough Keira, but as an old guy, it’s refreshing to hear a young person who’s clearly sensitive, loving, and empathic. Wish you the best in all things.
Same here. As a mid fifties bloke, who has bipolar 2, which is controlled by medication... My path is too different from this young lady to offer firm advice. But, yes, being young is tough. There are so many bad paths before you, and life really is tough. But there's a saying that's a blessing and a curse. This too shall pass. Yes, the good times will pass, but so will the bad times. And every bad path you end up following is a chance to learn. Your pain shall pass, with experience your path will become clearer as you age.
I was born in 77... had cancer and a couple kids in the 90's.... was given 6 mo to live... 20 something years later.... still hear... you are going to make it girl .
Hi Keira ! I stumbled onto this video of yours about a month ago. I made no comment to you because it was the first video of yours I saw. I have since then seen maybe 4- 5 others video's of yours. You reached out to me too ! Thank you. I admire your courage to allow yourself to be vulnerable in the attempt to help others with your truth. You are so wise beyond your age. This is refreshing to see and gives me hope for the younger generation. I appreciate your empathic stoic energy and I believe it is helping others. Thank you ! From one Empath to another take a break from social media often as you want. Get out in Gods natural outdoors and find the beauty there and recharge your purpose. Let the Lord be your compass. No Family is perfect, that is for God ! I pray God restores that relationship with your Family for you all because with God all things are possible. I agree to keep your dreams to yourself. That is what we want to be happy. I wish more Women thought like you. If I ever have a daughter like you I would be proud of her ! Happy Easter ! God Bless ! ❤
Your situation is actually different than the girl in the video. She was born with a silver spoon in her mouth in being an attractive woman and she seems to have messed it up.
no, that's a bad way to look at it- those aren't human first of all. then, the story of cain isn't an end al be all - it's a way of being that can be accepted at each point in life. one may be possessed'' by some spirit, but the terminology underpins that it's not what he is fundamentally. @@Pazuzu-
Being who you are is the essentiel thing... You are unique and because of this you are appreciated as a person without needing to do anything exceptional... You will win if you keep trying...
"I hate the position I'm in, I'm tired of feeling like my energy is not appreciated. I'm tired of feeling like I'm putting my all into everything...." you literally describe what it is to be a man. Countless men work full time, spend a LOT of money on working towards a family and then discover that their partner has found someone "better" and that you just spent ten's of thousands of dollars on a future that only you appeared to care about, since that person didn't have the decency to just end things the moment they realized they were interested in something else. So I can definitely understand how you feel, since that's how most average men feel in life. So I'll give you the same advice we give each other, just get through it as best you can and tell yourself that you're alright, even if you're not. Because at the end of the day ain't nobody give a shit about no man, and with society becoming more equal that phrase will change to "ain't nobody give no shit about anyone."
There is only one chance to happy maybe two ... three but not four long term partners then it ends. Just stop asking too much of perfection. We are people not perfection.
You sound like you may be suffering from some level of depression possibly. I think you’re being hard on yourself and you need to realize that. You sound like a very conscientious person. Just continue working like you have been and you will know if you’ve done your best. You need not feel guilty because you sound like you’re ahead of the rest when it comes to responsibilities and doing your part.
Thanks Keira for opening yourself, i really appreciate that there are people that have this level of awareness. I loved when you said that it is not the world fault, but everything comes from our mind, our thoughts. Very inspiring to be honest. Thank you
You live in a world that does not care about you. You also live in your mind. In the old days people went to church, joined a bowling league, found a group of people that liked to see each other. It was called having friends. As you said people now have tik tok, instagram, and worse tinder. The answer is within you.
Yes 🙌 I think social media is sucking the life from people, best thing I’ve done this year is to remove all social media apps from my phone. Spend more time in nature. We need to get back to basics.
As someone who has had extremely high points and extremely low points, I will offer you this: I have made six figures, I have driven the expensive car, I have had the big house, the designer shirts, and taken lavish vacations. I have also seen my buddies die overseas, I have been hooked on drugs and alcohol, I have had to sleep in my car, I have been fired, I have cut my arms to feel, I have stood on the ledge tempted to jump, I was beaten as a child, I was in the toxic relationship….. I live my life by practicing radical acceptance. It’s just as it sounds. It is what it is. Forgive the platitudes. There’s a strange beauty and mystery in how the world works and what it offers you. If you put yourself first and only yourself, the universe will deliver. It’s always on time. You’re doing everything right. What you are feeling is valid. You matter. Best to you ❤
Thank you too. I've been really feeling low thinking that my life will never be as good as it used to with my ex and all the wonderful holidays and days out we had and I have nothing to look forward to now. No holidays. No company. It is what is. Its hard to accept but I have to otherwise I will go mad x
For the past 6 months I’ve been dealing with a brain injury that has robbed me of any enjoyment of life, massive mood swings, poor cognition, fatigue. The only thing that keeps me going is the hope for tomorrow that things can get better. I’ve learned a lot about life and myself during this struggle, the biggest thing being that time and health are your most important things you can have. During my worst moments I would try to think of the things I wanted when I was healed. I never thought of fancy things or lots of money, I only thought of just enjoying whatever came my way with my imagined newfound health. A lot of the time we let desire consume us when we already have enough
I’m 21 years old, I’ve been working full time since i was 17 and i bust my ass day in and day out just to make ends meet. Got cheated on twice and recently lost my grandmother. I laugh every time people tell me to have hope in the world cuz things will eventually turn around. U know why I laugh? Not because the world is unfair, but the fact that the people we live with in this world have made life unbearable.
Go help someone else, even if you dont think you can! It will take focus off your bad life and will feel good helping someone else, what comes around goes around, positive behavior will bring you positive energy! It starts out small, but it will keep getting bigger, and you will start getting caught up in the positive energy, and feel great! I hope you will use this, and find the energy, you deserve!😊😊😊😊
A cow talking to an other cow and to a forest and to the birds: _"I laugh a lot. Not because the world is unfair, but the fact that the people / humans we live with in this world have made life unbearable."_ I wonder why people allways tink, they themself would be innocent and baerable and only other people would be guilty + unbeareble. How _"beareable"_ are YOU and your prosparity claims for other living beings???
I was in a situation during COVID where I felt unmotivated and unhappy with my life. I never took advantage of opportunities before then due to my lack of confidence, and it took a toll on me. I now know my self-worth and calling as those rough times shaped who I am now. I promise things will get better and this is a completely normal feeling to have.
I just found out recently that one in five Americans are on psychiatric medication. That doesn't include people who are addicted to other substances. So, it could be one in four or three people who rely on a substance. It's scary.
I resonated a lot with what you feel because I am going through an awakening and I feel the same disconnection between us right now that we are going through as human beings and it also makes me very sad. I think they are trying to dehumanize us, however I believe that when you begin to balance your energy and connect with your spirit, synchronism appears and you receive videos like this, situations and people that align with your own creative, expansive and empowering energy. Thank you for sharing your experience and words ♥
As a 25 year old guy I am so grateful that I got to grow up before social media and smartphones took over society but it does suck sometimes knowing that I will have to live in this dystopian 1984 like reality for the rest of my days unless some miracle happens and social media gets banned. Reading books and attaining more knowledge is what fulfills me these days.
@@endergrad42 Yeah, 34 here and this dude is either a bot or just living under a rock. Social media took off when I was around 16-20, which would be around 2006-2010. I do agree with his message though. Social media is a cancer. Keira's (target?) audience is testament to that.
@@johnnorton notice how I said "took over society" meaning that it wasn't until like 2015 where the smartphone/social media zombie epidemic happened, and Instagram started to evolve from an innocent app where people shared photos of things they like to a app where people compete for attention and praise, and a couple years later kids started doing dumb tiktok challenges like eating tide pods. And honestly bro I think living under a rock might be beneficial for a lot of us these days since there's so much doom and gloom in the news.
@@codeisme i totally agree, I loved playing Xbox games like the Simpsons hit and run, along with the Simpsons road rage, and gta san andreas as a young boy.
Bus drivers are the shit. I ride the bus and some of my favorite people are bus drivers. I don't know them personally, but whenever I see their smile, hear them say "have a nice day" as I'm leaving the bus, etc., I'm thankful that they exist. I hope they know they're precious - unfortunately it'd be a bit weird for me to express how I feel about them while they're on the job, aside from the "Thank you!" I shout at them as I'm exiting the bus. A number of them are super attractive too (not that this determines their value at all). So, this is all to say, there may very well be many people like me who think you're awesome who haven't been able to tell you, and you wouldn't know it. Besides, if you're a human being you have value in ways I don't think any of us can really understand.
Hi Moonwalker. I work in mgmt for a transport/trucking business. I am familiar with your job bc I work closely w/ our truck drivers and they do in a way what you do. Its a tough job, very tough. You guys are very underappreciated and you go unnoticed. I wanted to say thank you for doing the type of job that keeps society running 🙏 You are doing a much more important thing daily than all the popular celebrities and influencers are doing. I actually have hope that humanity will see things this way. Its only a matter of time until we're completely fed up w/ the internet/social media BS and go back to what makes us human (community). Have a great day 😀
Yo so i am practicing being silent in social proximity and so far i've managed to get a grasp of loving myself (appreciative for this life), that the next thing became a sense that i change my outward awareness to inward awareness (management of feelings and thoughts). 1 day it went great and i really got a foothold; then 3 days later i had the chance to grow this sense because 3 people i was working with kept trying to sweep me off my feet. They kept trying to get my attention and many times they managed to divert my attention and patience from inward to outward. Right back into the chaos, they want the old me or something, sometimes i'd roar back and we have a laugh or harsh teasing so i guess they're testing me, i am becoming stronger. Everyday i get a little bit closer to feeling fine. The waves of others crashing reminded me of the testing;teasing bit. I really like the way you put it! and always appreciate yourself! you are really well on your way
Hi. I'm 18 and i feel the same way with you. I'll have to wait 1 year until I go to university. I hope I'll find a good psychologist that will help me. Your video really made me feel a little bit better. I understand you. ❤❤❤
I'm a 33-year-old man. And I see how rules are changing all the time. How life's getting harder. And it's a heavy weight to walk with. Once, I lost everything and I needed to start from scratch again. Because the rules have changed while a was getting back on track, I still have nothing but my skills. So I totally understand your feelings. I dunno how Gen Z will live their lives, cos everything is so hard nowadays. Now, young people are in social media but they are unsocial. There's a saying, "Divide and rule." It's easier to rule people who are separated. So connect.
You are so very articulate, Keira. And even though you may not feel it to be so today ... so PRECIOUS! I'm praying for your comfort and peace of mind. ♥️
the world is undergoing a complete transformation now Keira. the old ways are crumbling. those ,like yourself , who are dissillusioned, are awakening to your true selves. your divine selves. you are smart ,brave and beautiful, . be well Keira lhotan.
The old ways are crumbling but the new ways are not getting the job done. Tradition is a solution to a problem we have forgotten.... remove the solution, the problem comes back. We have to reinvent the old ways. Renew, revitalize, reinvent... not discard.
U are symphatic, emphatic, etc.... good things ! It is NOT easy to navigate in this world of "TOO much". Good luck following your inner spirit/ heart, be gratefull 🍀
I'm 13 and im so so happy I found this video, I thought I was the only one who felt this way - feeling disconnected, helpless, and in a way, lost. The way our society is set up to push us all apart and make our lives worthless and miserable. To keep us at a constant "wanting" for something, to keep us waiting, to keep us dumb, and little, and robotic. It's lonely. It's like there's only a few having epiphanies like this and the rest are running with the sheep, blinded and lost. I'm being left behind, at one point I felt like I will never have a genuine, real connection with anyone because I thought I was the only one who felt or thinks like this. Especially in my age group. To see, literal hell on earth unfolding in front of our faces and it's all because of all these stupid trends. I fell into this "dark femme" "femme fatale" "it girl" trend on social media a few months back and I was just bombarded with content telling me I'm superior, that I should be unsocial and private and basically people screaming at me how to live my life. Combined with music and aesthetically pleasing videos, this trap is very easy to fall into and I soon realized how toxic it was and I luckily and HAPPILY deleted social media :) bye bye manipulation and toxicity disguised as "tips". Anyway, just wanted to say it's nice to know I'm not the only one.
That's not true dude. You need to find your tribe. People who have common goals and common like minds so they can help keep you hard when your mind wants to make you soft. Find a purpose.
I understand where you are coming from. Am a 53 year-old guy and for the longest time always felt as if I were alone, even in a crowded room. It took a while and a lot of lumps, but we do eventually figure it out; more often than not it is a "right time, right place, right circumstances" thing. Know what I mean? Took going back to school/going to college for me to get the key to the understanding I needed. Being the rarest type of personality out there (there are only about 2% to 3% of us for the entire world population; I'm an INFJ personality type) it forced me to realize that I might not ever find that other person that could get/understand me; being a man with this personality type is even MORE rare! Talk about suckyness! Long story short: I woke up one morning and asked myself the 1 question that actually had the simplest answer- "Why?". Life is a journey to discover who you are. If you can answer the questions honestly from within yourself and come to peace with it, you are ahead in the game that is life.
@@MotivatedPony It can be lonely. One thing I have tried to get my therapist to understand is that for me, it is all about quality, not quantity. I don't have a problem letting people into my life, as long as they demonstrate BY THEIR ACTIONS that they are worthy of being in my life. I realize that sounds arrogant, but it is just that I give as much as (if not more) of myself as they do, and feeling as if I am being manipulated (which NEVER works, because I am literally a living bs detector) or taken for granted will make me walk away. The iNFJ "door slam" is NOT a pretty thing; can be downright scary/intimidating to the other personality types.
living by the results of a personality test isnt healthy. it cuts you off from healthy human interaction when you identify as someone who inherently is not capable of or deserving of it. If you just have a healthy appreciation for all beings and dont believe you need to be validated by them, and know they dont need to be validated by you, then you are free and it doesnt bother you if someone dont like you or if someone does something you dont agree with. You just make do with whatever happens and enjoy it all for what it is.
Hi Keira, I am just some random guy at a similar age from Switzerland who accidentally stumbled across your video and I don't regret watching a single minute of your video. Your rawness and vulnerability is inspiring and I want to thank you from my heart for being so brave in sharing your pain. I don't know if you will read my comment but I have to tell you that I wished that I could have people around me who talk about the issues you talk about. You know, not the ego-enhancing stuff or hiding behind a persona. What I mean is having conversations where it's about being raw and courageously vulnerable as you have been in this video. Don't want to do any trauma-dumping here, but I used to be depressed and cry a lot alone when I was a teenager. I was "supposed" to be grateful, yet, her I was in tears and unhappy. Only when I accepted that no-one will be able to cut my head upon and save me and that the only way forward was the way through, I became a happier person. I started to accept that there was no way out and that I needed to surrender to whoever I was and whatever was bugging me instead of being at odds with myself. It also meant being able to fully accept that a part of me was unhappy without judging myself. Funny enough, by becoming a good friend towards myself, something changed. By treating my unhappiness and anxiety like a friend and inviting it to tea, the increased harmony transcended something. I am not saying that I am happy all the time today. I still have my issues and I share lots of your sentiments about people being disconnected. Sometimes, I just tell myself that it's just natural to feel sad if you see that state of being within our society and that I feel grateful for feeling that pain and to know that I am in fact healthy. I didn't stop feeling pain, but I changed my relationship towards it. Sorry, I write too much, but I need to say that one last thing. Where there is shadow, there is light. It hurts my heart to see you cry and I feel the need to somehow fly over there and just offer a hug. On the other hand, I see so many good traits within you just by watching this video and lots of strength. I hope you realise how many strong traits of yours you showed to us just by doing this video alone. Feeling pain about something and articulating that pain so thoroughly is also a strength that I hope you can recognise. What I am trying to say is that within pain, there are so many hidden qualities. So in a sense, your video also made me smile a bit because it shows me, people with courage, with a soul and with heart still exist. I hope my English is not too bad and I wish you all the positivity and strength in the world.
Two people are here who showed exactly what I wrote about. This is the thing about stupid people. They can't wait to show others their weaknesses which is why they are so easily manipulated in today's society. Offering compssion towards others is "gay" or "simping" in their paranoid worldview. Here's the thing. Not having empathy means having a dysfunctional prefrontal cortex which technically is a brain dysfunction. So you are showing that your brain doesn't work and that you are underdeveloped. Because of that lack of development, you lack the insight with which you could detect an internal fault within your system which makes you very vulnerable to manipulation. Some people today are gaslit into thinking that narcissism and other ways of fleeing from reality like hedonism is a sign of strength when in fact, these people are lost in weakness. These people are so manipulated that they can't even wait to show their weaknesses because they get rewarded by it. But here is the thing. Social media companies have developed algorithms to manipulate them in such a way to milk money from those people, influencers manipulate them to milk money, politicians milk them to get into power, women milk them to get attention and sex and so on... They are trained to be slaves, getting milked left and right and because they have not even developed a proper brain to see their horrible life, all they can do is flee into what they were trained to be. Narcissistic and weak. So when I see weak people insult me, I love it. It has never been so easy to win because so many people today are weak. I'll go back to my David Goggins videos where the strong men are. Good luck being loosers.
dont worry about writting to much. if I was the autor of the video, I will feel so happy, because your long message means me feelings reached your heart . It means you really care, you really listened her. I am from Peru, i think your english is good, i undeerstand everthing. Is so hard to talk about this emotions with the real people right? IDK why but before i use to be really open about how I feel and see the world but with the experience, i have seen people dont care about the vulnerability I offer to them. For me, to tell a secret o tell you something that moves me, is a gift for a friend... a gift from the heart. Kind of hurt when people thinkyou are just so weird. I am Larissa. I am 19 . I hope you are living a beautiful life
Thank you for putting these thoughts together. Human connection can be very difficult to foster in today's society and at times I have also found myself searching for more of it and feeling kind of blue. This is a very relatable experience. Just keep at it and you'll find the connection you are looking for!
I don't know if you're millenial or gen z, but I feel these problems are just getting worse with every generation. If you've ever heard "easy times make weak men and hard times make strong men", that quote is about a cycle where humans get too comfortable in "easy" times which leads to a mentally weak civilization. That is what is happening now. Being genuine and different is considered "cringe", because people are too scared of standing out, of not conforming with society. There is also the increased use of "ironic" humor people use to hide their true feelings. Its like it's not "cool" to even try anymore. But I like that you realize the positives in your life. That's what we need, optimism, to pay attention to the good things because our brains already pay too much attention to the bad things. And we should care for each other, as cheesy as it sounds. Wish you the best.
"& strong men give way to good men" - ending i've learned to take on - goodness comes from trials & difficulty - good quote & true about "cringe" / "ironic" / "cool" / & "easy" - so true. also wish you Kiera the best, you got this!
This is fucking stupid and wrong. Easy times don't make weak men, they make stronger men. Hard times create weak men. Who is stronger, a guy who eats the best food, has a strong and stable family, goes outside, and is 6'6 with 200 lbs of muscle, or a skinny brown guy who just got bit by a viper and survived a famine? The reason why we're so weak nowadays is because we've been under hard times for 100 years. Prior to WWI which was essentially the Great Reset, life was far easier, we were actually taller (a sign of better nutrition), not obese from seed oils, and everything was incredibly cheap because inflation was nonexistent. Hell, getting a partner was easy because we had social structures that facilitated this. We are weak nowadays because of the hard times, and making your life harder for no reason because you want to "toughen up" is a surefire way to make yourself weaker and stupider. By the way, the "hard times create strong men" quote you're referencing is from a book that some guy wrote and for some reason midwits love to quote it because it sounds deep or whatever.
This is a phase which is very common to each of us and at least once ever arrived or going to but the only thing is to continue in life whether through talking, doing work or listening to poetry etc as only you can fix it and nobody can so ya you are right and don’t worry everthing is gonno be well ❤
Thank you sharing this. Life is a mystery and navigating it can be tricky. While trusting and following our intuition isn't easy to do, especially in our current upside down world, it is the only way through which we find meaning and purpose. Stay strong Keira!
@@keiralhotanOpen it, study Islam and the Qur'an, you will love your life 100 out of 100 and thank Allah every day for the current situation you are in compared to the situation most people are in!
Your honesty and being as self reflective as you are is what makes it so hard when you see the truth. Don't ever quit being who you are. You are a beautiful human being.
Barely thirty seconds in and I know PRECISELY how y'feel. I try so hard and none of my efforts, energy, passion, or anything of the sort are ever appreciated in the least. Thank you for this and I hope you remember that they aren't excuses but rather EXPLANATIONS and we do need reassurance on some level. I acknowledge that one must love oneself first but we are wired to need love from others!
There is a moment between childhood and being an adult. That is realising that life is suffering (in part.) Everyone feels it, you just have to look around. But knowing you have suffered means you have lived.
@@8bitgamerC64 ~ And why would you write that? Adolescence IS the period following the onset of puberty during which a young person develops from a child into an adult. Why would you assume, from my writing that, that I'm a perpetual adolescent? Are you actually describing yourself?
I’m glad I was recommended this video. I think your sentiments are something most all of us have, to varying degrees, experienced at one point or another. I know I have, even dismissing my own pain by comparing it to others less fortunate than myself; making me feel even more weak and confused. But you’re right to look inwards and acknowledge your sadness because despite how small it may be relative to the sorrows of the world, it’s still ours. So we should nurture it and through that, we become more developed people who are better adjusted to be the change we’d like to see in the world. Anyways, thanks for video. It’s not always easy to share our tears but it can be helpful to be reminded we’re not as alone in our feelings as we may sometimes think. Stay strong and bless your heart, you’ve got this
Found this 9 months after it was posted. I hope you have passed through this and can see the light coming over the horizon. I feel like I am heading into a dark spot soon and I am reaching for the little things that take me to the beautiful horizon of hope.
Many people live their lives just going through the motions. They aren't truly fulfilled but unable or unwilling to acknowledge it. Never fall into the trap of living your life for other people or let them tell you what you need and want in life. Get to know yourself first as best as you can and create a life that is authentic to you. I wish you all the best!!
You speak from my soul, I made a song about the topic and I have a tip for you. Turn off the social dilemma completely and concentrate only on what you want, not what others see in you or bring you down. Yes, I've been living alone since 2017. I miss my mother, she was the one I understood, I don't really trust her sister, she asks too much and I hate that and I live my life the way I see fit and turn off my phone only to see where I stand, not to do something good for others. But as a musician and artist everything is different, I really wish you a speedy recovery, I love videos like this because they really show how people can no longer get together in such a short time. Hug you, you are naturally wonderful! 🥰
You seem pretty realistic in the way you view your situation here. I noticed you seem eager to change and grow, which, tbh is something I see most people around me missing in 2024 missing. You seem like a pretty beautiful soul, and everything you said here resonated. You got this, you're young too, and what you're feeling is a right of passage. You have everything you need to go out and make the world a more beautiful place. You're doing it right now. Remember to stay grateful, love your family, and respect yourself, and you'll get exactly where you wanna be, as the woman you wanna be❤
I’m an old timer who grew up in simpler times. I fear for youth today and future generations. It all seems very dystopian. But this young lady gives me hope.
I can relate!! I wiped out 3K of a coworker’s debt with a loan he took out for the company I work for, putting my job on the line in the process. He pretty much forgot about it a week later and if he’s in a bad move, he’s a complete ahole. Never again! At least not with putting my job on the line to help someone get ahead.
sounds like the business you work for is the rule douche in that situation tbh. why are employees taking out loans and paying them off to make a bunch of money for someone else???
I feel you sis, I feel the same! God has a purpose why your experiencing that situation. Please just don't give up! We can do this! Have faith and don't hate your life. One day you'll be proud on what just happened to you. You'll be proud on how you strong and brave you are. One day you'll able to tell your future children that my daughter and my son, I also do feel the same but I didn't give up, I know God will provide for me and He will guide you, but don't loose hope. Have faith! Thank you for sharing and I'm always here to support you. ❤❤❤ Godbless sis and keep on fighting!
Hi, just want to say I'm empathising with you a lot and listened. When you spoke about lack of connection, even if you have friends I really felt that. I can't help but feel like modern society is facilitating this fake 'social connection' between us. I understand that you're probably sick of people giving 'solutions' to your feelings, I sure am, but I want to share an observation I made. I don't know for sure, but I think it might be something to do with socialising just isn't enough for humans. We've got to actually help each other, build communities, protect and understand one another and live together. Modern society is forcing us into tiny boxes glued to screens, giving a substitute for genuine connection, hijacking our brains into shutting us up for a little while longer while we slowly go mad. My contentment has definitely gotten a little better the more I focus on trying to get as close to this as possible - not perfect, but better. I understand what you're going through. It's an issue that is equal across every demographic. Hang in there.
I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels this way. The modern world sets us up to be isolated in many different ways. Friendships are harder. Our beliefs divide us. Lots of people can’t afford to even get their life started and so we fall into a depression. A whole generation is feeling stuck. The people in power are failing us. It’s a scary time to be alive but all we can do is hope it gets better. Where we’re at now is not where we have to be forever.
I wake up everyday and do exactly what I want to do every day. I stopped caring about all the bs we’ve been conditioned to care about above all else. And I started caring about myself for the first time in 20 years. I’m 35 years old and my full time job for the rest of my life will be my physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. And for the first time in 20 years I feel like I can breathe again. Society has taught us all how to hate ourselves, to see lacking where we should see imperfect greatness, to measure our self worth based upon our material possessions, and constantly compare our own lives to the lives of others around us. The problem with that is that the kind of Love society has us all out here endlessly competing and searching for comes from within. If we don’t take the time to get to know and love ourselves, nothing we could ever achieve, acquire, or share with anyone will ever make us happy.
Thank you for this extremely candid soliloquy. Consider the following: 1. Try doing everything that is happening in your life while in a third-world country. 2. Consider our ancestors who survived World War I, Influenza, The Great Depression, World War II, The Korean War, The Civil Rights Movement, The Cuban Missile Crisis, The Vietnam War, The Gas Crisis, and AIDS. And through all of that, people went to work, fell in love, and helped others. 3. At prima facie you appar to have all of your faculties and appendages. Imagine navigating life with any of those components missing. 4. Therapy can be very helpful when a person is overwhelmed by life's challenges.
It's kinda unhelpful as we only live in our own reality and adapt to that expectation. That's why people in west can be deeply unhappy and poor people in developing world happy and content.
I know you mean well McKenzie, but that's like the whole "Nobody should be depressed because they're not starving in a famine somewhere" kind of advice. Depression is more complicated than that, there a richer people than me who suffer more, and there are poorer people who are happier and more content than the majority. Think of the hole many young people (particularly boys) find themselves in, leading them to go so far as to end their lives, they might have heard advice like that from their parents at some point but it's not a helpful comparison. If only ending depression was that easy.
I feel exactly the same as I’m currently renovating a house and put my heart and soul into it and don’t feel my wife appreciates how tough it is sometimes. Life can be really tough and sometimes all you want to do is give up. You are 100% spot on and effort is everything and I completely feel your pain because I’m going through something very similar now
Just found your channel today and in all honesty, I appreciate your perspective on the sad state of our modern lives. The current state of the world doesn't just affect the younger folks. And yes it is a lonely world. If I can give some advice here, get involved helping others in the real world. Little feels better and gives a better gift.
I am 42 years old and have for most parts lived in a large city (2 million + people). When I travelled and lived in smaller towns for periods of 3-6 months, I noticed that people were more connected and their was a sense of community and happiness associated with those strong community connections. Living is a large city, I felt disconnected and lonely many times. Some of my happiest times were living in small towns. The only problem is that people are drawn to the big cities to make big money and feel the excitement. Good luck
Read the book of Ecclesiastes, 2:17 - Therefore I hated life; because the work that is wrought under the sun is grievous unto me: for all is vanity and vexation of spirit
The world has... interesting ways of operating. I just read this passage from Ecclesiastes in Tolstoy's "a confession" i stumbled upon this girl's video because i searched in you tube for "why do people meet"... some coincidences may be random but quite interesting in spite of it.
@@archetypealch3my290 i hope there's truth in that and that the passages may have gone astray. I really hope that there is a meaning to life as well. Thanks for sharing :)
Interesting to have this recommended. A lot of what you say resonates with me, and it's tough. I also resent tf out of people pushing religion, but much of what you're saying has a precedent in Buddhism, if you know that or not. Reading a bit more about it doesn't fix everything, but it does help provide a few more words and a few more ideas on how to handle the struggles internally. We are driven to consume media, and those who profit have so little care about the secondary effects. Ironic how this is a youtube video sharing such a message, but in an effort to connect with other people, and sort your stuff out too, take a day away from a screen and see how you feel. The waves never stop coming, but how you ride it out can change. I wish you well.
Keira, you are a brave intelligent caring beautiful woman! The world needs more people like you to make it a better place to live in. As an aspiring screenplay writer, I have had my scripts rejected dozens of times over the years, yet I still persist, because I love doing it. It is not what other people think, as long as you believe in yourself.

I've been in this state for years. It's hard to trust people outside of your small circle of family. And when family doesn't respect your efforts, you have no where else to go. You can't take chances with the people of this world. So you are stuck. God be with you and may you find a way out.

Since many years. I struggle to take over my last broke up. I'm still the one who failed in the couple. It is very tough for the ego (the remaining part of it). I can tell you that you are not 47, broken, swalloed by anti-depressants, and depressed AF like me. You will make it girl. You are beautifull without any make-up. Well said, thank you for sharing. I, and many others have been through this as well. The fact that you are recognizing and acknowledging this is a great step and part of the process. We do live in a very disconnected world, paradoxically and ironically enough. It is sad. We can all be here to support each other and become more qualitatively connected. Focusing on the things we can do and change intrinsically are what seem to help the most. Take care of yourself!
She hearted your comment aka truth was hit. "i have an amazing everything but chad" Well sorry even attractive men are settling with tatted sumo wrestlers.
This Angel is not what any Chad would risk losing. She’s 10/10 in everything, but those gorgeous girls are envied by all average looking and others and that what you see in this video.
This resonated with me a lot. It's nice to know I'm not the only one that feels this way about life. It's so easy to fall into a place where you feel lost, alone and done with everything. Even moreso to stay in that state once you're there. Wish you all the best!
I feel you. I felt exactly the same 2 years ago. Doing my best yet miserable, panick attacks all this. Why me? Why the struggle? For who am I doing this? The more I tried to figure it out the less sense it made. But then I found a video on youtube how a girl went from New Age to Jesus. It teared me up but gave so much perspective . We don't need to be our own god. We don't have to have everything figured out. We can put out faith in God. He has all the perfection we long for and search for within ourselves and others to our disappointment. I know this may sound weird but I just wanted to share this with you because I know there's a better path for you. Jesus loves you♥️

I resonate so much with "I hate my life". Life has become a prison to me and fantasy feels like my only way out. Can't even end myself cause I would not leave my dogs with my messed up mom, so here I am, fucking stuck.
Hang in there, brother, you're gonna make it! If it does help a little bit, you can try to adopt your dogs and then move awayfrom your mom, get the papers and bring your dog out to someone else who can take care of him in the meantime. If that is possible within reason, of course. Wherever you are in life, just know that there's always a light in the end of a very dark tunnel. Things can find their way out, including your own life circumstances. It's all gonna be good, man. Have a little faith in yourself:). You got this!
in brief: The video is an emotional and introspective monologue where she shares her feelings of frustration, loneliness, and dissatisfaction with her current situation. Here are the key points from the video: 1. **Expression of Emotions**: - Keira begins by describing a moment of intense emotional breakdown, where she was crying and screaming about hating her life. - She feels unappreciated despite putting all her energy into everything she does. 2. **Effort and Appreciation**: - She emphasizes the importance of effort and the frustration that arises when it isn't reciprocated or acknowledged. - The lack of appreciation and validation from others contributes to her negative feelings. 3. **Self-Pressure and Social Comparisons**: - Keira talks about the pressure she puts on herself to do things right and the influence of external stories and comparisons that make her feel inadequate. - She believes everyone has different growth paths and emphasizes the need to unlearn conditioned behaviors and thoughts. 4. **Internal Struggles**: - She acknowledges that part of her frustration stems from making excuses, both for herself and others, and expresses a desire to stop this behavior. - Self-reassurance is crucial because depending on others for validation is not sustainable. 5. **Disconnection and Gratitude**: - Keira highlights the disconnection in modern relationships and the superficial connections facilitated by technology. - Despite her feelings of hate, she also expresses gratitude for her life and the opportunities she has, indicating a complex emotional state. 6. **Managing Inner Turmoil**: - She uses the metaphor of managing internal waves to describe her emotional state, recognizing that calming her inner turmoil is essential for navigating life. - Talking about her feelings helps her acknowledge and process them. 7. **Call for Self-Reflection**: - Keira urges others who feel similarly to look within themselves rather than blame the world, as internal thoughts and feelings shape one's experience. - She stresses the importance of taking action and holding oneself accountable to avoid regrets. In conclusion, Keira's video is a raw and candid exploration of her struggles with self-worth, societal pressure, and the quest for inner peace. She aims to inspire others to take control of their emotions and life circumstances through self-awareness and accountability.gpt4
I'm not religious but used to be and I really love this description of love from the New Testament "1 Corinthians 13:4-8a (ESV) Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth."

Everytime I'm sad, this 'Everything is temporary' keeps me going. ONLY LOVE
Because at the end of the day ain't nobody give a shit about no man, and with society becoming more equal that phrase will change to "ain't nobody give no shit about anyone."
some real shit bro
TRUTH... this is exactly why men have given up on females, relationships. Nothing is appreciated, so we keep to ourselves.
There is only one chance to happy maybe two ... three but not four long term partners then it ends. Just stop asking too much of perfection. We are people not perfection.
You sound like you may be suffering from some level of depression possibly.

You sound like a very conscientious person.
Just continue working like you have been and you will know if you’ve done your best. You need not feel guilty because you sound like you’re ahead of the rest when it comes to responsibilities and doing your part.
Money doesn't mean a lot if you are lacking in other departments. Should your partner have stayed with you because you got the money? Lied to you?
idk why, but these speeches from you resonate with me quite alot.

I live my life by practicing radical acceptance. It’s just as it sounds. It is what it is. Forgive the platitudes. There’s a strange beauty and mystery in how the world works and what it offers you. If you put yourself first and only yourself, the universe will deliver. It’s always on time.

So connect.

Im glad you found me❤️ we’re in this together love🫂❤️
bruh ur 13, go play in the park and dont worry about shit
That's not true dude. You need to find your tribe. People who have common goals and common like minds so they can help keep you hard when your mind wants to make you soft. Find a purpose.
Bruh I was already mad at the young girl in the video for thinking she understands the world and then this 13 year old comes along xD
@@narukami597Stop being critical of young girls who are just trying to work their lives out, it’s not big and it’s not clever. Have a little empathy.
I was sensing you’re an INFJ like me before you said it.
The same for me, I am an INFJ-T personality type.
Its linely.
@@briancossey4773 Fine when that works for you.
living by the results of a personality test isnt healthy. it cuts you off from healthy human interaction when you identify as someone who inherently is not capable of or deserving of it.
Scho chli gey bre
That is a very round about way to totally simp out.
Simpin ain't easy.....😂
dont worry about writting to much. if I was the autor of the video, I will feel so happy, because your long message means me feelings reached your heart . I am 19 . Thank you for putting these thoughts together. Human connection can be very difficult to foster in today's society and at times I have also found myself searching for more of it and feeling kind of blue. This is a very relatable experience. Just keep at it and you'll find the connection you are looking for!
This made me feel less alone in my thoughts, thank you.
I like that quote! Thank you for sharing ❤️
A boomer made that quote tho

I’m glad I was recommended this video. I think your sentiments are something most all of us have, to varying degrees, experienced at one point or another. I know I have, even dismissing my own pain by comparing it to others less fortunate than myself; making me feel even more weak and confused. But you’re right to look inwards and acknowledge your sadness because despite how small it may be relative to the sorrows of the world, it’s still ours. So we should nurture it and through that, we become more developed people who are better adjusted to be the change we’d like to see in the world.

Wishing you the best in life!!! Hoping some blessings find their way towards you 😊❤
Social media is not a blessing to humanity. Just another distraction.

You are right , we are very all alone this system 😔🥺
Thank you for this extremely candid soliloquy.
Consider the following:
Good luck

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” ~ Philippians 4:6-7
You're a young girl with an old sole. Hang in there. We're routing for you. Love ya girl.
Love you 🫂❤️
Love you ❤️🫂
old soul*
Keira, don’t expect YOU from others. I saw that a few years back and it so resonated with me. Live up to the standards that satisfy your own persona.
Take care of yourself!
becky after chad ghosts her
haha
She hearted your comment aka truth was hit. "i have an amazing everything but chad" Well sorry even attractive men are settling with tatted sumo wrestlers.
Lmfao, facts
jfl
Jesus loves you♥️
I feel this. I'm thankful for breathing too, but I feel like that is not enough in ways. I need growth, love, structure.
I never saw u vulnerable my gawd this video just came into my feed 😢 I only saw your strong lady vids till now. Wish I could be your at least a friend 🧡
I feel as though I have a bad luck curse. I’ve even had people I know tell me I genuinely seem to have horrible luck. It’s to the point where I just come to expect the worst. I’ve strongly considered leaving this world sooner rather than later, and I just might if it doesn’t get better in a few years. I’m really trying, but nothing seems to come together. I’m sending you love and I appreciate you being vulnerable like this. I know it’s not easy
I'm 45 years old, & I've felt just like this, ALL MY LIFE!!...... Please hang on!!!! One baby Step at a Time....BREATHE!! Don't Forget to Breathe. Go Out in Nature!! It Helps. It Doesn't take Everything away. But it Helps. We Want the PAIN TO END!! (Not Our Lives) It's a VERY TOUGH PLACE/SPOT to be in. But Please DON'T GIVE UP! One Day, it WILL be 'Good ENOUGH'.......(For Both Good, & Bad, Days) I Promise!👍😘😇🙏💜💕💕💛💐🍀🍀💖😊🌊🔭🌌🌙😎💙💜 Take GOOD Care, Sweet Girl! You have What it Takes!!👍😃💐
Wow thank you so much! Your energy is amazing ❤️❤️❤️
First off, you're gorgeous. U can't see how lucky you are, but will appreciate it later in life
I resonate so much with "I hate my life".
You worth more than you think, don’t give up, we all have problems, keep busy, believe me I was there too
Passive si is dangerous man hope you feel better soon
Thanks for sharing this video it helps people to know they are not alone in this suffering.
💖
In this you have found a purpose.
It’s an overwhelming energy I feel right now. Thank you for accepting me & assuring the feeling. ❤️
in brief: The video is an emotional and introspective monologue where she shares her feelings of frustration, loneliness, and dissatisfaction with her current situation. Here are the key points from the video:
1. **Expression of Emotions**:
- Keira begins by describing a moment of intense emotional breakdown, where she was crying and screaming about hating her life.
- She feels unappreciated despite putting all her energy into everything she does.
2. **Effort and Appreciation**:
- She emphasizes the importance of effort and the frustration that arises when it isn't reciprocated or acknowledged.
- The lack of appreciation and validation from others contributes to her negative feelings.
3. **Self-Pressure and Social Comparisons**:
- Keira talks about the pressure she puts on herself to do things right and the influence of external stories and comparisons that make her feel inadequate.
- She believes everyone has different growth paths and emphasizes the need to unlearn conditioned behaviors and thoughts.
4. **Internal Struggles**:
- She acknowledges that part of her frustration stems from making excuses, both for herself and others, and expresses a desire to stop this behavior.
- Self-reassurance is crucial because depending on others for validation is not sustainable.
5. **Disconnection and Gratitude**:
- Keira highlights the disconnection in modern relationships and the superficial connections facilitated by technology.
- Despite her feelings of hate, she also expresses gratitude for her life and the opportunities she has, indicating a complex emotional state.
6. **Managing Inner Turmoil**:
- She uses the metaphor of managing internal waves to describe her emotional state, recognizing that calming her inner turmoil is essential for navigating life.
- Talking about her feelings helps her acknowledge and process them.
7. **Call for Self-Reflection**:
- Keira urges others who feel similarly to look within themselves rather than blame the world, as internal thoughts and feelings shape one's experience.

5:28 Chad taking off in the rocketship after he smashed
Bahaha
Lmao that's fucking funny. But she's a sweet girl
Gratitude solves about 90% of this problem.
I agree 100%. No one has a perfect life. Be grateful for what you've got. Every now and then I watch videos on Soft White Underbelly of people that have had really terrible childhoods. I feel very lucky.
I Keira I am David from Dallas, TX. take it from an older man who have been in your place. Believe me when I say your life will change significantly for batter in few years and you will be glad did not let these hard feelings get the best of you my dear. It is part of being a human. You are very desirable lady. I wish if I was Yunger to ask you out for a movie, dinners, Crius ships my complement as token of appreciations for clearing to other women what men are truly like. Keep the good work.
