Lore Hoarder was glitched for me for 3 years. Finally went back for a 5th playthrough and popped the trophy this morning at the start of Chapter 12 when i got back to the ship. Thank you so much

I, like many want to give thanks to your in-depth guide! I finally secured my platinum for this game. The amount of times I had to restart was one too many. This bugged out collection system almost made me give up but Lore Hoarder was the only trophy I needed for the 100% so I had to try again and be very CAREFUL not to screw up again. amazing guide, just one thing make sure u sell groot it will give you more credits for the collectibles in chapter 6 and for the fine google the best options as u can decrease it to 6000 credits meaning u wont have to do 2 playthroughs
Thanks a lot my guy! Very helpful in finding those collectables and Outfits that were in tedious places. The groot canal trophy was the most difficult to obtain, I did it twice and didn't work and then choose chapter select afterwards and after a scanning the creature and 1hr or so it worked for me. can you get all trophy in 1 PLAYTHROUGH? like in this video also im confused about saving back up file does he mean manual save on playstation because i dont think you can do multiple save for each chapter and theres like 12 of them and i dont know if he means in game !

Only missing 5 items and have 38 archives right now Should I stop? Potential lore hoarder glitch fix here. Got the plat on 6/19/23. I also had the problem where I had 65% of the compendium but it didn't pop after following pixelpyx walkthrough and finishing the game. I played through chapter 6 in new game+, (did the opposite route of selling Groot/rocket that i hadnt done to get the missing archives. went to the collectors emporium and re-read all the archive entries, which had disappeared from my compendium. Then I bought the lotto ticket (or buy whichever item you don't have yet) and the plat popped as soon as I did that. I hope this helps!
I’m on new game + and on ch 8 and still now pop yet. Only trophy left. Do you know how much you had of everything? I have 38 archives and 27 items right now. Other categories I have everything Stressing about this!
Because of this guide, I did everything in a single playthrough! The only thing I missed was the doll from the machine for 2,000 which I could have purchased because I had 9,250 but you said we needed 9,000 to pay the fine, when in fact we only needed 7,000. Other than that this guide is absolutely perfect. You will have 250K subscribers in no time, if not 1M. Thank You

Just something to note, When you delete your save file and restart. You will retain your picked up costumes. Source: I missed something in chapter 3 and decided to wipe progress, when I got back to Rocket's first costume, the box was already open and I also retain all my previously obtained skins. Also, I got that Rocket skin originally VIA chapter select since I noticed I missed it. Something to note though is Costumes were the only thing that were retained, logs and other such items were not. Edit: I got to the Ravager coms bracelet and it's also gone on this new file, so yeah, you definitely can use Chapter select to get things.
You sure cause I missed a few guardians collectibles from chapter 5 and 7 but im using this guide to get everything else I might have to go back to those chapters

just finally got my platinum. Thank you very much. After days of 80% of my game time being GOTG i got it. I had to do it in new game + cus of the stupid ass glitch. For those with the same glitch just do new game plus and make sure to get any collectible you didnt get. Even if you did get it in the 1st playthrough. I’ve played GOTG until chapter 4, but suddenly my Guardian Collectibles won’t add up to my compendium. I’ve started a new game, but all the collectibles on the Milano which should appear in Chapter 3 are already in Chapter 1 visible and won’t start a conversation. When i played further i was at the point of getting a Guardian Collectible, but the collectible wasn’t there on the ground, it just disappeared and it isn’t in my compendium. Does anybody have the same issue or knows how to fix this? I play on the PS5.
Going through this problem right now with Chapter 3, I missed a item and a couple convos. I even went back to saves end of chapter 1 and beginning of chapter 3. I can't get the convos or item to pop.
When you run into a glitch, if you can, try to press start and reload from last checkpoint. That helped me. I was at a part where I felt like I should have heard music so I reloaded and viola, music!

To anyone who is about to smash the controller agaisnt the TV because y'all just realized the "Lore Hoarder" trophy just glitched on you even after you know that you followed a collectible guide PERFECTLY I have bad and good news for you... The bad news is that you will have to start a NG+ and play until Chapter 6 (you don't need to collect anything again). The good news? This fucking trophy actually unlocked after I bought one collectible in this chapter (to be exact it was the Lottery Ticket)... So I think buying an extra collectible of those you couldn't get in the first playthrough (because of the fine) will trigger this trophy and the glitch will be gone. The only way I knew about this was by reading about a member of PSNProfiles that also did the same and the trophy unlocked for him the very same way it did for me. HUGE shout-out to that guy (can't remember who exactly)... I'm so happy, I loved the game but really didn't wanna play through all of it again because of a glitch, the game is very long.

I’ve started a new game for the lore hoarder achievement. I’ve noticed that the compendium is completely empty except for the starting items. The guardian collectibles can’t be found again and interacting with the ones I have on ship do nothing. Should I continue or delete all the save files and start again?
This is my problem I'm currently facing I think ima gonna have to start a whole new game I'm on chapter 13 but I've been recollecting alot of stuff that I missed

@@uncleslam4100 I got lucky, I remembered i had my ps4 save file in my cloud. All my trophies have auto popped on the ps5 edition! 😅 Least it saves me another play through I suppose!

Is there a reason why on my first playthrough, I talked to Rocket about the Spinal Control Unit, went through both dialogs, but it's still a greyed out question mark, and even on NG+ it's still not acknowledged, and I can't trigger the dialog a second time? EDIT: same with the Ravager Bracelet... Nice..
I'm right at that point now but it's not clear how to trigger the questions / dialogue from Rocket! I'm in his room and have picked up the item and put it down, but rocket doesn't appear??? Did you figure it out?
Chapter 3 bug. I did the convo with rocket, got his item. Went to my room, got star lords item and had a covo with Gamora then I thought there was some scrap to grab on star lords table which made me miss the rest so because I had experiences of game breaking bugs before. I had a back up save. Unfortunately breaks every single save. So my save at the beginning of chapter 3 and my save from chapter 1 are all also broken. Im currently missing a couple convos and groots item. Any suggestions? For now im just continuing the story and hoping new game plus helps. No idea what else to do. Don't really wanna have to restart the game.
Can I not get galactic compendium items in new game + was following the guide and bracelet was gone, I know i got it in my 1st play through but my items are empty! This trophy is increasingly becoming more time consuming.... someone plz help
@Pixie Dust Nicki remember the whole story has alternate scenes that depends on your decision, some of those decisions are going to lead you to the trophies
Hi… I finished the game and I want to get the lore hoarder trophy… will I be able to get it playing chapters? When I start a new game the items when picked up does not generate a conversation which means the items wnt be taken into account as collected… do I need to delete the game data and start from the beginning or can I just collect the archives from the remaining chapters and get the trophy?
Hey, Yes you will. There are 5 trophies for finding collectibles. All of them are missable, because you can't use chapter select to collect missed ones. Also "Galactic Frugality" is missable. For this one you have to pay your fine in chapter 9. If you spend too much money in Chapter 6 you will not be able to do this. But I will mentioned that in the video as well. :)
But don't worry too much about the collectibles you don't have to collect 100% of them to get all trophies. Follow the video and you will get everything needed

For some reason when im inspecting the spinal control unit in rockets room he doesnt give me the dialogue is my game glitched?
The Groot trophy checkpoint was saved so fast I wasn't even able to restart the checkpoint, dam PS5 it's too fast 😤😤

@@uncleslam4100 I got lucky, I remembered i had my ps4 save file in my cloud. All my trophies have auto popped on the ps5 edition! 😅 Least it saves me another play through I suppose!

Great guide! But so I'm clear. I've started new game plus and all my collectables seem to be there, but I have to go through full story again to get them rather than chapter select?
Is there a reason why on my first playthrough, I talked to Rocket about the Spinal Control Unit, went through both dialogs, but it's still a greyed out question mark, and even on NG+ it's still not acknowledged, and I can't trigger the dialog a second time?
EDIT: same with the Ravager Bracelet... Nice..
I'm right at that point now but it's not clear how to trigger the questions / dialogue from Rocket! I'm in his room and have picked up the item and put it down, but rocket doesn't appear??? Did you figure it out?

Hey Tom i miss the collectables items, every time i found new item it doesn't count for the trophy. Can u help?
Chapter 3 bug. I did the convo with rocket, got his item. Went to my room, got star lords item and had a covo with Gamora then I thought there was some scrap to grab on star lords table which made me miss the rest so because I had experiences of game breaking bugs before. I had a back up save. Unfortunately breaks every single save. So my save at the beginning of chapter 3 and my save from chapter 1 are all also broken. Im currently missing a couple convos and groots item. Any suggestions? For now im just continuing the story and hoping new game plus helps. No idea what else to do. Don't really wanna have to restart the game.

Can I not get galactic compendium items in new game + was following the guide and bracelet was gone, I know i got it in my 1st play through but my items are empty! This trophy is increasingly becoming more time consuming.... someone plz help

@Pixie Dust Nicki remember the whole story has alternate scenes that depends on your decision, some of those decisions are going to lead you to the trophies
Why Guardian collectible Cold case file didn`t spawn?
Hi… I finished the game and I want to get the lore hoarder trophy… will I be able to get it playing chapters? When I start a new game the items when picked up does not generate a conversation which means the items wnt be taken into account as collected… do I need to delete the game data and start from the beginning or can I just collect the archives from the remaining chapters and get the trophy?

For chapter 4 collectibles can I get all collectibles from start to finish choosing groots path and then do new game plus and choose rockets path

Hey, Yes you will. There are 5 trophies for finding collectibles. All of them are missable, because you can't use chapter select to collect missed ones. Also "Galactic Frugality" is missable. For this one you have to pay your fine in chapter 9. If you spend too much money in Chapter 6 you will not be able to do this. But I will mentioned that in the video as well. :)
But don't worry too much about the collectibles you don't have to collect 100% of them to get all trophies. Follow the video and you will get everything needed
