Very cool and really nice guy!. Used to live in Ponte Vedra FL and looks just like the creeks of the intracoastal. Only thing I would raise a slight eyebrow about is the "calling out" what type of fish it is when it hits and never being right, :). Doesn't matter just sort of funny
Morning Capt. Collier! Thanks for your reply. I'm definitely envious of your whole set up. 14 degrees here in Beantown with heavy frost. I will get back to FLA someday. Historically though, I wouldn't make it past those casino boats you point out. Gotta clean up my act,!
That drone footage was incredible. You sir, are one smooth operator. Solo in a boat that big, operating a pole, trolling motor, gopro, drone, narrating a video, and educating us all at once. You gained a subscriber today. Thank you for the video!

Very nice video! That creek looks like some of the creeks in what's called Tomoka basin which is just north of Daytona Beach. This video brought back a lot of good memories of me fishing that creek. Thanks
@@CaptCollierEspecially on a big flat or the beach. If the water's clear. Might be cheating depending on how you use it. I've seen killer footage of a small school of reds in a huge flat. Great addition to an already stellar channel.
Never been to Alabama but when we get there, I'm going fishing! My wife loves to visit national parks and historic sites. All I gotta do is find some there and she will stay planning a trip. 😆
Well there is Ft. Gains on Dauphin island yall could walk through. there’s a ferry that will take you to the other side of the bay where there is another fort called Ft.Morgan. There is also the USS Alabama Battleship memorial park in mobile that is pretty cool to walk through
Absolutely, when I say “trout slick” I’m referring to the film on top of the water from oily fish such as Pogies that game fish (usually trout and redfish) are feeding on. They are aggressive fish and will continue to eat and regurgitate baits which causes a “slick” on top of the water which indicates that there are fish somewhere close feeding! It has a distinct smell, you’ll know when you see one. Thanks for watching!
@@CaptCollier Thanks for the tip. I've certainly seen slicks where I shouldn't. I hadn't put that together. I'm in Charleston, SC, we got plenty of oil bait. I'll be on the look out.
Cool ! I launch down in the Bayou all the time. I sure would like to get back in these areas some time, but my old Mako is set up for offshore, no trolling motor set up like yours. I hope to get me a nice bay boat some day. Maybe I can get you to take me to some of your spots sometime, Brandon. Enjoy your channel
You make me want to get off my lazy bumbum and go fishing! Beautiful day and catch. Looks like here in La., but It's been raining so much i gotta put on hip waders to get to my truck. I'd love to fish with you!
