This has really helped step up my Dudley game. Never got the chance to play SF3 but loved Dudley in SF4. Picked up the 30th anniversary edition and sucked with Dudley... Now I don't lose all the time. Thank you 👍
I was worried you were going to forget his rolling thunder dash. Great stuff. It's fun when you knock someone down or dizzy them and come at them with that move
Was about to, but re-edited it to add the new move. I actually never knew about Makoto's taunt nor found out anywhere about it, that's why I didn't add it in the Video Movelist. Also, in Ultra Street Fighter IV it doesn't work... I am very thankful that you point out stuff to me. If you find anything that I overlooked such as wrong moves input or incorrect stuff, please notify me so I may write the additional stuff in the video's description or make an annotation.
It's too late now to bother pointing out or explain uses of moves like a taunt, I honestly think you were thorough with going through all the normals neutral jump and angled. You know how it is, fighting games can have a lot of detail. Hugo has three taunts by the way. Hp+hk, hp+hk (hold), and hp+hk+up (hold). Attack boost, stronger attack boost and 1/4 permanent round defense boost, and the last one adds distraction to the screen haha. Glad you found out about Makoto's special taunt. Very neat detail eh? You should do some other games from Capcom if possible like Children of the Atom. A lot of detail in moves more than later Capcom games.
Toomnyusernae You are right, taunts aren't really that important, but I will always try to cover everything that is specific to a character. I don't think I will go back that much to playing X-Men: Children of the Atom, as it's a fairly old game, but I will do videos for Tekken and Mortal Kombat. I also like other fighting games such as Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, Dead or Alive and Virtua Fighter so I may do videos for these fighting games later on too. The only "Marvel" games I played were Marvel Super Heroes Vs. Street Fighter and Marvel Vs. Capcom 2. I liked MSHVSSF but I didn't really like MVC2 as it was rather difficult to unlock in game stages, characters and colors, there was no actual story and the game was crowded with all sort of goofy characters. Although I did enjoy some characters like Jill, Rogue and Strider, I eventually gave up on it in favor of other games... So, I won't say no, if a new Versus game pops out and I find it entertaining, I may pick it up and start making videos for it.
I understand your sentiments about MvC2. It did take forever and moves were just shadows of their original use. If you want to see the moves in their glory you have to go to the root or premier. MvC2 actually had a story but North American games didn't really explain it all too well because the reality of the game being a mashup overshadowed any story they could really come up with. It's good you played Marvel Super Heroes at least. I've been telling a lot of players that Wolverine has healing ability that no one noticed. If I knew how to record and edit videos I probably would haha but I'm too busy. If you go back to that game, there's a reason why Blackheart gets 3 elemental moves. If you're curious, go and figure it out for yourself because I think you'll realize there's a lot of stuff going on that you never noticed before.
If dudley was in sf5 Critical Art: rolling thunder V skill 1 corkscrew shot (Originally in omega) V skill 2 Rose (taunt in sf3. Gives dudley a power boost. The rose also has a weak hit box.) V trigger 1 Corkscrew smash( A weaker version of his ultra 2 in sf4. He does his corkscrew shot and then punches again. It works like a rekka so he can chose whether he would like to use the V meter.) V trigger 2 hurricane gloves(adds more hitstun and hits. His special moves will also have some animation differences.) V reversal thunder crush(similar animation to the charge special move that dudley had in sf4. It was called thunder bolt.) Notes: ex jet upper will us similar animation as Super Art 1 or Rocket Upper. This was inspired by another person
Yo! Can anyone tell me what his “Punch & Cross” move is? It’s on his move list, but I don’t notice any difference doing the command, and this video and most sites don’t bring it up at all.
+DrewTony'Z Oh wow, didn't even notice that! I was making a written-down list for my own person, so I was just focused on writing what the video was showing lol, thanks!

9 combos jeez
What a ferocious boxer
I really love his theme

NO U CANT JUST USE PUNCHES IN KICK ATTACKS!
Dudley and Balrog: Attack is PUNCH
Atleast Kim knew what a punch was
You can't kick in boxing match

Holy shit, i didn't realise that cross counter did that much damage. That's fucking insane
It's based on the damage of the hit you countered so if you counter a shoryu or something it does a lot
DrewTony'Z, you blow my mind
England (Dudley) vs Germany (Hugo)
I see what you did there

I hate how capcom removed that move dudley had in double impact, when he leaps into the air and comes down on the opponent
I mean he got it back in SF4

Or use Dreamcast training mode

Dudley Combo master
Nobody ever points out that Dudley is actually using his elbows in his jumping attacks. I think Adon would take exception to that!
I can't believe they took Thunderbolt off Dudley's move list on 3rd Strike.
Yeah, I was trying to do it the other day when playing against my friend in 3rd Strike and it cost me the match. I had no idea it wasnt in 3rd Strike.
Rolling Thunder,Jet Upper....Capcom developers really were Ring ni Kakero fans. The same attacks existed in that 1977 manga.
Fun fact: Dudley's moves are based on Ippo.
Are they really? I mean, I can see Rolling Thunder being the Dempsey Roll, but other than that, I don't see anything else.
MaxOwnzor2 The Lawnmower I meant the show. Rolling Thunder is Ippos, but Corkscrew Cross is Dante's.
Afrika Smith Machine Gun Blow is Hayami's
@@afrikasmith1049 Liver Blow is Ippo's too.
@Ahmad Adnan he didnt. hajime no ippo manga came around 1989

It's Back to Down to Forward + Punch. Maybe the description box can help some more. Or my tutorial for 3rd Strike.
Yo! Can anyone tell me what his “Punch & Cross” move is? It’s on his move list, but I don’t notice any difference doing the command, and this video and most sites don’t bring it up at all.
Yes, so if you press Forward + Punch after Cross Counter half circle back motion you cancel it from Normal and Unique Moves.

What is the - in-between his target combo? I've pressed the right buttons but still not in combo just regular strikes
You must link the buttons quickly.
