Kingbolen Auto Scanner Center I’m doing some videos on the launch Torque. The throttle looks really good. I’d be ingerested on how the mini does. I do a lot of videos on this stuff.
Autel bt808 or Launch X431 for a weekend shop guy just starting out, I work on whatever I can but I’m sure it won’t be anything high end car wise. I know you have both, just wondering which would be better suited for a weekend warrior at best. Love the in depth troubleshooting videos, keep em coming hero!
Does the CRP129E provide the miles on the car after it finds the VIN? This would be handy for double-checking potential used cars vs. seller / odometer claims.
Cody I have a short question. I am interested in the launch products. Could you provide some info on getting a quality launch scanner verses a cheap unsupported version. I get confused between Launch and Launch Tech USA. I have researched, however, nothing is very clear. It is impossible to research all info, so I am asking you. I have confidence in you:) thanks.
@@codysautodiagnosticsprogra8706 Thank your for the reply. He strongly suggested that you purchase from Launch USA. That whenever you saw only Launch on a description that is was a unit from China that Launch USA did not support. I know, about everything is made in China, However, the support seems to be the the main point. Eric O of South Main Auto also eluded to the same thing about support. I like that 129e, nice tool. Thanks again!
Can you have 4 pids graphed recorded and go back and measure all the pids at the same point in time for doing volumetric efficiency test? Thank great videos
I honestly can’t say buddy. I would guess it would be pretty decent due to the fact that it’s got car lines in the software that I’ve never hear of before. Not sure if that helps
Quick at dirty scan tool definitely can see a use for this sucker! Do you have any recommendations on a "pro" level tool possibly something with jbox functionality?
Honestly if your going to do flashing I would get a drew technology’s jbox. Reason is they make 90 percent of them for other companies and get it cheaper threw them. They have the best support I’ve found and also have the toolbox I like that has a grip of information in it. You can grab a launch scan tool and drew tech for like $2500.
The 129E I bought from Amazon is not supported by LAUNCH USA. And when doing on-line updates, the MAC address of the unit changes all the time (how stupid is that) if you want to enter the MAC address in the MAC filters in your router. Other than that, it is OK
@@kingbolen_official OK, so why does the MAC address change all the time on my 129E? MAC addresses are supposed to be fixed on any electronic device that I have.
Seems like a legit scan tool. Great review. Hey it looks like 410AutoTech called u out on the next #makeatoolchallange give him a sub & check out the vid on his channel... 👍 great guy
Mister Handy I’m not understanding what your asking or telling me. 30%code? Sounds like you need to get ahold of the company you bought it and take it up with them. Mine works just fine.
Thanks,Live data stream is nice features, also don't forget the “feedback diagnosis” if the scan tool not connect well in some special issue car.

I have the prior 129 model. The unit is well worth the money.
bill beckett that’s good to know! Thank you
Does this have an oscilloscope function? I’m wanting to diagnose a misfire condition on a 2014 Nissan Versa.
No sir it doesn’t. This is a scan tool not a scope
Thank you for this and the other scan tools reviews mate!

j morgan honestly I would go x431 over the autel honestly. That’s my opinion. X431 seems to do more

No
Great Review and Diagnostic tips. Cheers Brother 🍻👍
Thanks brotha, cheers
Just found the answer to my question on the Disgruntled Mechanic channel. If you have anything to add I would be interested, thanks again, Semper Fi.
How do you check oil pressure using this scanner ?
Great Video thanks... Would this work on a Fiat 500 1.2 Lounge ?
Pretty sure
Thanks for the review and tips . I've been looking for a home scanner !!
Not bad for the price
did you ever do a throttle calibration? or a battery reset? if so , easy?

@@hammerhead6537 Hi Hammer,CRP129E from China,it is a goo DIY scan tool and also we provide tech support.
@You Wish Yes,support
The Creader seems to be comparable to my Autel MaxiCheck mx808. It also has live data, but no bi-directional.
Haven’t played with that scan tool but it sure sounds like the same features
Always a winner!
DIY Misfit "Mechanic" so far so good
Can you have 4 pids graphed recorded and go back and measure all the pids at the same point in time for doing volumetric efficiency test? Thank great videos
Yes you can graph those pids for ve testing
That combined pid list is sweet isn't it , great feature be nice if Snapon could add that feature . Response time on that tool is sweet .
The Automotive Doctor Mr. Wilson yes I do wish Snap-on had that combined pid list. For things like this or for 02’s it would be awesome
Like your video, but the charging cable comes inside the black carrying case that the scanner comes with.
Your absolutely correct, I found this much later lol
Nice review Cody,
David Da silva thanks for watching
Hy how are you I have a question does this obd have to be connected to wifi everytime we want to use it or read a code
Hello, this does NOT need to be connected to WiFi in order to read codes. The WiFi is for the tool updates and to send reports to your email
this is bi direccional ?
Yes it is

I forgot, on the Launch USA website I cannot find the CRP129E like yours?
