If they are plain oats. You can grind some and get oat flour. Oat flour can be mixed with an egg or banana one or the other if allowed and made into a pancake. Tomato and egg and oat pancake sandwich. Egg and tomatoes omelet with asparagus on the side. If you eliminate the asparagus and add a small bag of flour you could make tortilla or biscuits.
I've got some green onions i planted in a window box. I just stuck the root ends of the green onion into the box and they grew again. i left about an inch and a half of the white above the roots. I just pick off them when I need onion. When they die off I'll go buy more and do the same thing. :) I did this with some chive seeds and they kinda took on a life of their own and filled the whole pot as well. So you could use those in your egg and oatmeal mix.
Just started following you channel. I love all your ideas on how to create meals on a very strict budget! My suggestion would be to use boiled eggs with the salad kit for some of your lunches. You could either slice the egg and add on top, or make deviled eggs if you have mayo on hand. Another meal option would be to slice the tomato, put it on top of the tomato, sprinkle with cheese bake in the oven until cheese bubbles and melts.
great meals, I would have taken couple eggs, scrambled and added a little of the gr beef and cheese and tomato for breakfast too for one or two days to break up having the oatmeal. Thanks so much for sharing.
