Hi! Looks good! One suggestion might be to buy the whole bag of rice and make a teriyaki stir fry for lunch a few days with a couple of carrots, a couple of eggs, and just a couple of the peices of chicken chopped up. Another thing would be to buy a can of tuna and make a tuna salad wrap with hard boiled eggs for a day or two. Just a couple of thoughts Good video
I would mix and match the meals so I wasn't eating the same thing every day. Breakfast options, eggs & English muffin, turkey bacon sandwich, breakfast burrito, or breakfast sandwich. Lunch or dinner options, egg salad wrap, crispy chicken & turkey bacon wrap, chicken with salad, deviled eggs with rice & veg, chicken burrito, chicken & rice soup (cook chicken breast win water to make broth) etc. Lots of options. If I were to add something, it would be a bag of mixed veg for another healthy option. Fruit would be for snacks. I would add maybe a little more fruit if possible, to stretch over the 7 days.
More fruit and tomatoes for the tacos or cheese. But one taco wouldn’t be enough for supper so instead of making tacos get a little bit bigger tortilla and do burritos as one of those would be enough.
There is definitely ways to change it up with what you bought so great job with that however, this is only 1/3-1/4 of the amount of calories most adults should consume in a day so I feel like you would be starving. Although I know fruit and veggies are an important part of your diet, I think it’s more important to eat enough to be full.
Yes, I am trying to look at calories more but sometimes it is so hard to make enough on a tight budget! I appreciate feedback, it helps me figure out what to focus on going forward. Thanks 😊!
@@lindajsjourney6252 no I totally get it. I just think in a tight budget like this, maybe more focus should be on high calorie foods to fill you up and making fruit and veggies secondary.
it looks so yummy! great inspiration for me this month, that I need to save some money after the summer holidays! I would have used the 1,50$ on ice cream maybe?
Nice variety!

These are good suggestions! I don't always like eating the same meals each day either 😉.

Maybe a muffin mix

Yes, bigger burritos. Or some rice to add bulk to your meal, with some veg!
Yes, cheese is always a good addition! 😄
Maybe baby spinach and tomato with your breakfast, more fruit would be good!
I agree! 😊
Love your food videos wish you'd make some updated budget friendly ones.

Love all the vegetables in this one! Maybe a muffins mix, or pancake mix. I end up eating carrot sticks for breakfast so I'm not the one to ask! Haha
Thank you! Yes, muffins are always a good idea. I can't say that I have ever had carrot sticks for breakfast but it would work! Lol
