I'm a nursing student. Its not the methods bc the placebo effect is real! It's the "this helps with... some chemicals" like around 2:00. Claim therapeutic effect, sure, but don't claim or fake knowing the chemical makeup of the body if you can't even name the main hormones, ions, and chemicals involved in heart function omg.

I think this could work well if you are raised like that, meaning healthy and taking care of yourself. But it’s up to one point where this stuff won’t work with complicated elderly problems. This guy is trying to stop taking one pill just to take another one & it’ll definitely not cure him.

I've been in this situation. Sometimes you have crazy patients that want to do the alternative stuff also so rather than fight with the patient they just say ok you can do both but you need to come see me also

I've done it, it's bizarre. A lot of the provider waving her arms around, tapping on me, and moving my arms around. To test a food, they put it in one hand and see if they can push the other arm down. If they can, that food is not good for you. If they cannot push your arm down, that food is ok. It's been around for a long time, I've seen where it's called a parlor trick.
Plus you have a 50/50 chance of getting a banana
I actually went to Miranda for a while a few years back and idk if the nutrition response testing really worked but she did give me an olive and castor oil skin care regiment that cleared my acne after years of trying products with no success. She genuinely wants to help people jokes aside

I think that blood pressure medication has a lot of potassium so my theory is she’s trying to test if he could just eat bananas instead?? I think??
Potassium in bananas can interfere with the blood pressure/heart medication, but if you’re not on medication and have high blood pressure it can exacerbate it and possibly lead to cardiac issues/arrest so she’s covering her arse by not letting him eat a banana 😂

Summary:
