The Catholic Church is the only ark of salvation, no other "church" (really sect) is salvific. We need to convert as many Protestants as possible, and save them from those man-made sects.
Somebody should have told St. Thomas More that the Catholic Church only "subsists" in the church of Christ. Believing that, he might have not lost his head over Henry VIII. The same can be said for all the martyrs of the Church, including the courageous Jesuits who evangelized the pagan Native Americans.
The only thing I disagree is using “privileged” with regard to the Church, which seems to be in contradistinction to “necessary”. “The Church would be the privileged means…”, I believe it’s around the 13:15 mark. While it wasn’t explicitly stated that the Church is not necessary, it’s implied.
That's because, unfortunately, these men are not honest. They're members of the Vatican II sect, who believe that anyone of any religion can be saved. They are not Catholic.
Fr. Patrick mentioned that "salvation is not a points game". Can you do an episode on indulgences??? It just seems like a way of seeking - said, points - or some kind of shortcut. Can you speak about this, pls.

Sorry, not clear. I was hoping for something clearer than you offered at Pints with Aquinas. Because of the confusion in the Church, a very clear teaching has been made obscure. Unfortunately I don't think this discussion helped very much. You can teach with the Scholastic Method when writing but you guys are supposed to be the Order of Preachers, so preach. Preaching is in clear declarations, not "...part of the first part was refereed to in the second part..." You know there were Dominicans before Aquinas. They didn't think it necessary to preach with so much trepidation. I'm not saying to be uncharitable or unclear, but for the love of the Faith-- preach. You never even mentioned the 3X declared dogmatic definitions. I know you guys are afraid. If you really will preach the whole truth you will probably be kicked out of the Dominicans, (mentally prepare for this) because of the sad state the Dominicans right now. I'll pray for you to have courage preach the truth. Humanity is in crisis because the Catholic Church is not assertive anymore. How difficult is it to say up front: "extra ecclesiam nulla salus" and then say why. You were not better than archbishop Barron. Ad to your library the DRA Bible. Maybe by reading it you could find clues on how to save your souls

It's not. Indulgences are only useful for people already in a state of grace.
