@@ForeverARide lol Agreed :) I've had to do fork seals twice, and a buncha oil changes. The rest of the work on it has been customizing.

This is good to know, I’m looking at a used Bolt and I was wondering how many Km I should be looking for but I guess I shouldn’t be worried about km

As an older biker, it is nice to hear younger folks right into bikes - nice chat there & beautiful Bolt, amazing exhaust, I want one! Cheers from Canada & safe riding!

I rode Harleys, had an R1, rode dual sports, and when I rode the Bolt and found the love of my life. My reasons for getting the Bolt, is the price, the relaxed position, sound, smoothness, and how customizable it is. It's my third bike, and for me, it will be my last primary bike (I do plan on getting a dirtbike for offroad). I put in 4k in mods and for me it's the baddest bike I've seen.

Bro do you feel vibration on Bolt?
On highways if I feel feel heavy vibration at just 60-75 mph..I am not using wind deflector.
People say they have done 100mph on bolt, I wonder if this vibration is just for me or you as well?

Great video. I bought my 2021 Bolt R-Spec brand new with 0 miles in May and i have 18k miles on it. I have the same slip on muffler and have added 8" mini ape hangers and a swing arm bag. last week i changed the brakes with some much needed better pads and it was a simple job and now the emergency stopping is a lot less sketch. I love the way the bike rides, i love the sound and i love the reliability and how easy/cheap it is to work on. I hope that one day Yamaha offers a replacement 1300cc with a 6 speed transmission, that would be the the best bike ever, imo. Stay safe.

The Bolt really is a hidden gem, I've been on the market for a Vulcan S or a Yamaha MT 07 the last few months, till I came across the R Spec, did some deep research, went out and Tested 2 of them, and bought one with less than 2K miles.
Very happy so far, it Sounds so good that I often find myself playing around with the Throttle, Revving it & Downshifting, just to get that Raw Feedback from the Engine😍
It also has alot of Low end Torque, and it can Cruise on the Highway on 5th Gear between 70 & 80 mph, I've taken it above 90 but it does become a bit shaky & unstable

Good choice on the Bolt, Harry. I had a Virago before I got my Bolt. ( Raven Black).... HD watch out.... with the proposed nixing of the 1200 sportster line coming up in 2022. I will expect to see more of these on the road, ( From what I've heard...HD wants to go single rear shock on their line ups, guys.... so far, from my end of the fence-line, I will go with the hear-say about it). I like the twin rear shocks, and the fact that it pulls faster than any 883 and possibly most 1200's. Yeah the air box needs a revamp for looks,.... But, the air box offsets the #2 Cylinder to make it so that you sit straight if you try to knee the tank... As for annoyances..... Its the "Yamaha Tick"..... that Dang tappet noise..... Kudos to the Cobra slip on..... to mask it, lol. That muffler makes mine sound tame .... and the stock 2019 one that came with it is as loud as they could legally make it 2 yrs ago. Yup , mines still stock. Added a Mohawk wind screen and side bags, so far. Looks like a Harley, Sounds like a Harley, sooo Yup.... Hardly a Davidson, lol. Stay Safe. Ciao.

    • @NovaBlade926
      @NovaBlade926 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

It def pulls faster than the 883, but the 1200 might be a bit too much, damn now I gotta test it against my friend's Harley🤔 not sure I'll beat him, but if I do he won't hear the end of it

Maybe I'm not seeing well, I didn't see any mention of overhead cam, fuel injection, and kickass low-end Torque that will jerk the teeth out of your head. Also, the Bolt is made here in the USA. Harly engine casings are made in the US, but the rest is imported. The Bolt is made here in the USA. in the Yamaha factory in Georgia. Yamaha USA employs 3500 Americans, This Japanese company is giving back.
One of the review guys said it is a good beginner or mid-level bike.. That is ego-driven peer pressure bs. We ride what we do as personal choice.
The Bolt at 560 LBS. with fuel injection, overhead cams, intense low-end torque, and plenty of acceleration is not a toy. In years past I had a Ducati, Triumph, BSA, and the Crown Jewel, a semi chopped Harly 74. Marriage and family put a crimp in my riding for a few years. Once back, I needed a bike that rode smoothly, looked good, had muscle, and performed well. The Bolt, fit the bill.

These guys who put this together are having some intelligent dialogue as opposed to the idiots who ride a Harley like it’s a Ninja & talk about speed only. Harley discontinued entry level offerings, choosing rather to sell only high end. Harley does not even have an offering for the Harley chicks! The new president of Harley is not even an American. He’s a woke guy from Germany and he’s ruining the company.

damn i drop my phone in my face when you rev the bike lol i didnt notice my volume is high. Sound so sick dude. I agree it is not clone of sportster because it has its own characteristics and beside there are so many kit you can buy on that bike i have 2021 bolt here in japan and guess what it doesnt break and i dont even know what should i buy next because of so many parts you can buy.

Haha thanks 🙏 that’s hilarious. The cobra exhaust plays a sweet tune. It pops and bangs all the time without being stupidly loud. It’s great to hear that you ride it too. The community is deep and I 100 percent agree.

@@ForeverARide People will say clone or fake iron 883 are those people who can't accept thr fact bolt is really a cheerful happy cruiser bike. And who cares about the price right? Yea its cheap but why it doesnt break? yea it has flaws but the reliability is superb i can say that. Unlike harleys my mechanic friend says majority of motorcycle he see on the shop was harleys cuz it break a lot.

Is Reebok a clone of Nike? Is a Gulfstream jet a clone of a Bombardier jet? Of course not! Everyone is in his own class. A Honda is a Honda, a Yamaha is a Yamaha, a Suzuki is a Suzuki and a Harley still needs work.

I at lest want to test ride one of these I had a 85 Yamaha virago was my first bike and my favorite bike and from what I figure the bolt looks and sounds to much like the Virago to not be a revival of it. Harley may have invited the v-twin but Yamaha has mastered it. Don’t count on Harley getting rid of vibration it’s “heritage”
