    Just wanted to do a short follow up video on the Yamaha after 30k miles and an additional 7k mile road trip. Death wobble fixed too btw.
    Thanks for watching guys and I hope this helps. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer. God bless!

    Thank you for the deer story!
    Getting ready to buy a bike and start riding to work in the city everyday. I'm more concerned with cagers than I've ever been about wildlife when I used to ride in Tennessee. I'll be praying even more everyday! Thanks again.
    Have a blessed day!

    Damn, I guess you got blessed.
    I'm here for the Bolt videos, and I'm glad the deer thing worked out for you.
    Hit one two bikes- 5 years ago, similar result, 'cept the bike continued straight down the road, the deer and I bounced off into a ditch. And the guy driving behind me called an ambulance, had a heart attack, ended up going to hospital in it, while I rode home..
    Anyway, keep updating the Bolt vids pls 👍

    You should do a fixing up video for the bolt honestly, as for the dent on your tank you should explore how much it would be to pop out the dent, god bless to hear that you are alive after that crazy story with the deer

    Usually that "tail" is followed by, "Deer, Jezzus Fu*king Christ!!!!" -- so I guess that's a notch in the feather of Yamaha successes. Not sure they're going to make a commercial about that one, but I liked the story.

    I hit a small deer, coming home from night shift at 2:30 in the morning. Similar situation as you.caught it mid body, it slid up the windshield then slid off bike directly in front of bike. I gave it gas, raised front wheel and jumped over its body. Killed the deer but never lost control. Swallowed my heart and stopped at a legion, still opened, told four old hunters, they collected the deer, I’m sure it went into some good venison stew! If you ride a lot, it’s not a question of IF this will happen but WHEN it going to happen! Practice evasive maneuvers before hand, physically and mentally.

I’d love to know info about those cases on the side (I want something like that instead of leather saddlebags), and the usb on the handlebars. Any tips on what to buy/ tips on installation would be welcome. Thank you for putting in the miles!

      Thanks man! Saddle bags I can't be much help. My brother and I welded them from scrap metal and then bolted it into the frame. I couldn't really help with finding other ones, because I was looking before we built those. The USB port is easy to install and really cheap on Amazon. Maybe 10 to 15 bucks if I remember correctly. She's been a great bike. Hope she is for u as well

    I have a question my good sir. It has to do with interstate riding on the Bolt. In general do you feel safe/comfortable riding the Bolt on interstates and if so what speed are you comfortable at and what do you feel is the max speed the Bolt can handle? The reason I'm asking is because I'm still a beginner rider coming up on 1 year experience. When I'm on the interstate riding at 65 and over I am extremely nervous, white knuckled on the handle bars, and the whole experience just sucks! It's mainly because to me at 65 and up the bike just feels like it's being pushed to it's absolute limit and feels extremely unstable under me. 74mph is the fastest I've ever gone on it and after about 10 seconds I was like nope I'm done with that! I don't know if it's because the Bolt is a smaller bike and it's this way for everyone that rides one on the interstate, or if it's just me and I need to grow a pair and will get more comfortable with experience? I feel like it's probably me and that the bike being a 950 should be completely capable of interstate riding and speeds, but I'm just not sure about it. I wish that I could ride another different bike on the interstate so that I would have something to compare it to, but that's not an option at the moment. Anyways given how many miles you have ridden on a Bolt I figured you would be one of the best people I could ask about it. I very much thank you for any answers or advice you can give.

    • @globalvagrant1392
      @globalvagrant1392  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hmm good question... I usually don't go faster than 65, 70. I feel comfortable and thr bike is capable of going higher, but to me the sweet spot is right in there. Things do feel different on a bike going 80 plus because on the bolt u feel a lot of the wind resistance. If u ride a BMW cross country bike 80 feels like nothing because u don't feel the wind resistance on your actual body. The bike redirects it off of you. The bolt is capable of going faster but u definitely feel it.

    • @JesseCase
      @JesseCase 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks for taking the time to help me with that. It does make me feel better to know that 65-70 is a normal top interstate speed for the Bolt. I'm sure I'll get more comfortable and less tense and nervous about interstate riding over time and with more experience. Ride safe and thanks again my Bolt brethren.

    Ok. I gotta comment on the topic of hitting stuff too. I was doing 80mph in the left land in the middle of the night and hit a 8’ plastic bed liner. I hit it on the front of the bed side with the front tire. It nailed my foot and kicked it down into 4th it wobbled like crazy. I thought to myself “this is it” but it stabilized, I continued my journey.

    Bruh, what you said about the death wobble. I had a 2020 R3 and same exact issue..right around 45mph. Dealer thought it was the forks not being stiff enough or the rear shock being too soft. I said well I want new tires anyway. Ordered some new Pirelli tires and the had them installed. The issue was completely gone. They were OEM Michelin.

      I would if you have some riding experience. I rode dirt bikes growing up, and then had a Honda rebel for years, so i was already comfortable on 2 wheels. The bolt isn't too big, not too heavy, and it's a cruiser so it's not insane with the power and torque. It'd probably be fine for a first bike. Just take some time getting used to it.

      @Global Vagrant sometimes if the steering bearings are just a little bad but not really bad getting new tires will make things okay but then later on when the tires are maybe 75 percent worn the wobble will reappear. So it might not really be permanently fixed. But maybe yours is.
