Thanks for the compliment. I should do a follow up. There's now some nice ways to see trajectories as if they're in place even when moving through space.
That trick with the locator. Genuis, thank you :] I was scratching my head as to how to best go back and forth between in place and moving through world space. Appreciate your content!
Thanks for the comment. Hopefully I'll get some new videos up soon. Actually with the newer relative trajectory mode you can see the arcs while moving through world space. It's quite nice
Hey buddy, amazing techniques, I would love you to teach us some abimation processes such as 2 persons fighting, throwing knifes (you know weapons geting dislocated from hands, how to do those)
I would like to create a run cycle animation 3 minutes long, to sync with an audio file. I want to sync the run to the beat of the drums in the song, and want to hear the entire song. I have various songs with different beats per minute (BPM). So a jog might be at 130BPM, a run at 160BPM, and a sprint at 190BPM. Can you tell me how to extend the timeline to be 3 minutes instead of just a few seconds? Thank you. Love your work!
Cascadeur is not designed to deal with long animations very well. I would suggest capturing a longer cycle and extending it in a video editing app. I cover the cycling tools in my speed run part 2 video. That should get you what you need.
They are definitely useful for walks and run, but since this was more of a study of what makes a run cycle, I wanted the manual approach to be the focus. If that makes sense.
My videos (intentionally) tend to target longer studies of topics. I can understand why you might want a shorter video. I believe Cascadeur produces much shorter tutorials that would likely get you what you're after.
saving me out here, man. getting more and more familiar with Cascadeur, thanks to your thorough, outstanding videos.
This was such a great, clear tutorial, and answered the all important in-place/through-space switching. I learnt a heap, thankyou!

I'll be coming out with a constraint video soon that shows transferring of a weapon. Thanks for the feedback.
@@3DcgGuru I am eagerly waiting bro please don't make us wait long 💙

Thank you!
That's great! Hope to continue

@@3DcgGuru Thank you for the prompt reply!
I try to export 2 character but after I do in the windows I see the characters are one in the floor the Inter the rider floating .
Thank for this series. Is this the Speed Run Part 3? Or are you still planning to put these out? Great Work!
Part 3 got derailed when I started the Maya plugin for Cascadeur, but now that that's been released I'm going to get part 3 out ASAP
Nice work! One question, do you not feel like the autopose and physics ai is useful for run/walk cycles? Haha, I didn't see you use either

Please make the tutorial done in 15 min. It too long
