Oh that video is just what I needed to see. I just purchased a used 6x26 (cx602)originally sold by a Canadian retailer and have ordered a dro and powered for it and am unsure how to mount the scales. I hope I can do as nice as job on mine as you did on yours. Thanks for sharing your talent.

A very nice machine you have there. I have always liked them and they are one of the best choice of mills for the home workshop, especially the bargain priced Chinese made versions like yours.
I have had my VMC for around 18 years now, had to do some re work on it but I would really only ever consider replacing it with one of the larger versions of it that were, and still are, produced in Taiwan.
    Oh lucky man!

hi peter, thanks for the sub, will keep posting more videos, the milling machine has done a lot of work, have made 4 small engines/lathe/shaper machine with it,
does not look as nice as that now, but still very practical, and haven't had a job I cannot fit on the mill yet,
thanks again for the sub, kind regards...keith in Swindon uk

Thanks mate. Very helpful to see the machine. Warco really should have more photos and some videos of their products on the website!
Would you be willing to do a shirt video on your thoughts and impressions on the machine after a couple of years of ownership? It would be a huge help to people like me who are in the market!

I'd have got one of these but the limited Z axis clearance put me off. You used to be able to get column risers to improve it and many have made them for themselves. Otherwise a nice machine. BobUK

Wow that's a nice milling machine Keith. I'm after a mil ling machine myself but am in two minds on what to get. As most of them on eBay take up alot of space. Does yours take up alot of space Keith subscribed by the way. 👍👍👍

Nice setup. These machines look like a good option if you don't have space for a Bridge Port etc. How much space do you have for the machine?

hi, thanks for the comment, i had a Bridgeport in the workshop, but was taking up too much space for my w/shop
so decided to sell it and buy a smaller machine
the warco vmc, is fantastic to use, and so far no issues,
the footprint is approx. 4ft square,
      regards...keith

I have just orded a new VMC while at the Midland exhibition. I orded the 3 Phase version. My thinking was to fit an inverter to slow it down so I can use a fly cutter Min rpm 160 have you had any problems with a fly cutter. it appears the 3 phase motor is incompatible with a inverter. so wonder if i should request the 230v if you find it not to be a problem ?

Does the power feed on your machine show a model number and manufacture name? I recently inherited an old Jet 6x26 and I’m looking to add power feed. Any information you could give me would be great. Thanks

Can I ask if you have had any strange results using the the DRO to calculate PCD bolt circles. I have the new Warco super Vario and I get odd results using the DRO. If I chose the Number 3 in the PCD menu I only get two holes. If I chose 4 I then get a three hole PCD. I was trying to get three holes don’t understand why I have to select the number of holes as one more than is required. Have you tried the PCD functionality?
    Regards Chris

hu, unsure why but have seen this on several newsgroups that you enter 1 more hole than required, strange I know,

Limited height clearance over table, otherwise ok.

    • @mrmyford
      @mrmyford  5 ปีที่แล้ว

never had a problem with height yet, if height was to become a problem, its easy enough to fit a spacer, but never needed to yet, and yes I do use a vice , rotary table and a chuck sat on top of the rc, with still space left, how much space/daylight do you want, maybe you need a bigger mill
