@@MisterTwister88Yep... many reports of the plastic housing stripping, cracking or breaking. If this is a concern check out the "WICKED Copper Tube Pipe Cleaning Brush" set with all metal construction.
Only problem as an HVAC tech is that they only make a 3/4 size that perfect for the suction line pipe......but they don't make one in 3/8 for the liquid like. Still stuck hand sanding for that. If anyone knows a company that makes on in 3/8 let me know!
The kit comes with 1/2, 3/4 and 1" that will help out with 5/8, 7/8 and 1 1/8 vapor lines but I've never come across any 3/8 by any brand. Would be nice though
I was less than impressed by Blue Monster. Worked for about 10 joints/pipes and then fell apart. Will not do much to clean old solder off a joint or pipe. The joint cleaner should be larger than the pipe cleaner-it really isn't. Better to purchase basic pipe and joint cleaners for a drill.

How long would you say 1 of these last you or would you say it depends on the continuous use of it.
They suck, and will strip out in a short time. It’s a plastic tool. Much better options out there.

Do you think this would remove old solder from a recessed pipe?
No, if you heat the pipe brush Flux where the solder is it will clean it off
Do they make them for refrigeration copper or only plumbing? ID vs OD.
I think they only come on 1/2", 3/4" and 1"... so probably out of luck for 3/8"
Is their any similar stuff that can help to clean the hardness of condenser tube inside of chiller units
