- Yes you read that right, finished in only 4 months! This eagle welcome sign is a favorite pattern of mine but I was unable to finish it 4 months ago due to my lack of confidence and experience with the scroll saw.
This was a pleasure to finish after this length of time because I truly had so much more experience since then.

My new winter hobby along with many other wood working projects!
Since October of 2022 I have been woodworking with what tools I had. The idea was to have something to do during the winter months. While I have always liked anything made of wood, whether is is a deck or a carving, I just had a love for it.

Sometimes we struggle with projects. Sit it down and come back. I’m glad you did because it turned out really well.
Yes, I agree, being so new to woodworking there are a lot of struggles. I have set side many projects. As I gain more experience, I am slowly circling back to finish them with more confidence and greater understanding of the craft.

Hi I’ve just watched your latest blog I have have spoken to you previously regarding trouble with plywood despite tape back and front I’m still experiencing problems for your latest project you mentioned crown tooth blade I’ve been searching on line but don’t seem to be able to locate this type of blade I would be grateful if you could provide a supplier of these blades
Hi David, I got these blades on Amazon. They are OLSEN crown tooth #2, 20tpi. They are quite small so I can only use them for plywood or thin stock hardwood. I will be searching for larger sizes in the near future.
